I have never been a fan of gyms...or working out...or many of the things associated with either. I used to be fairly active but then life happened and I put on more weight than I should have. For the past couple of years, the regret and self-loathing tormented me and the depression kept me from doing anything about it but make excuses and pity myself.

When I finally decided to do something about it, I called Exercise Inc because the radio ads promise all it takes is 20 minutes.

At first, I was hesitant to sign up. But then I had my first workout with my trainer Ben, 20 minutes, and I left feeling like a completely different person. I had energy, I felt a surge of a kind of happy I hadn't felt in a long time. Yes, I hurt after that first day but it was a good hurt. And to make sure it wasn't hyperbole, I did go back the next week and the next....

Each week, there is a new lifestyle change to actively work on until your next appointment. Nothing complicated--especially when they become habitual. In the 13 weeks since I joined, I've lost the first 15 lbs of the many many that I have to lose. However, MORE than the weight I've lost, is everything I have GAINED so far.

My mobility and agility have improved dramatically, the weight loss is a plus, but most importantly, my mental health is a complete 180 from where I have been trapped for so long. I sleep better, I eat better (and less), and I FEEL better than I have in almost 11 years.

And while, yes, I am the one doing the work, I have to give a HUGE shout out to my new friend and trainer Ben! He's very down-to-earth, patient, kind, and super supportive. I can't recommend him, or Exercise Inc, enough without sounding like a broken record.

I've been going to the Exercise Inc. Greenwood location since September for their slow-motion weight training, and the results have been amazing. I originally started because I wanted to keep up with my 6-year-old granddaughter and maybe even lose a little weight. Now, not only can I keep up with her, but I occasionally wear her out!

Heard about Exercise Inc. On Saturday mornings WIBC Home and Garden show Denny Smith got me intrested. So finally started about 26 weeks ago. Really didn't need to loose any weight but want to be stronger as I aged just felt weaker every year and after 26 weeks I really like it feel so much stronger and heathy,as they also promote eating health too. This program is great! Ever since starting in November of 2023, my trainer Ben has been great at pushing me every week to do more. I've gotten so much stronger! I know this because I was able to walk up and down the stairs at Lucas Oil Stadium 4 times and not pass out. My legs are so much stronger because of the exercises Ben chose to have me do. This is the perfect workout for me. Takes less than 30 minutes once per week, is focused on proper form and breathing, and safely pushes your body to its limits so you need a full week to recover. Ben at the Greenwood location is a terrific trainer. Been seeing him weekly for about 2 months. He's very knowledgeable and personable. He has a great way of knowing when you need a little motivation or to be pushed. But, he's always making sure you're alright. I extended my initial plan because Ben is helping me towards my goals. First, the program works. If you can spare 20 minutes a week, work out even in office dress, (you might want to take off the suit coat), not sweat but work really, really hard, and maybe change your diet for the better, Exercise Inc is for you.

Second, your trainer is knowledgeable and will push you to your limit. She won't overdo it, but she'll challenge you.

Third, the owner comes in occasionally to oversee. It's a good thing to have a hands-on owner.

Effective program. Excellent trainers. Involved owner.

It isn't obvious, but the quality of coaching is surprisingly uniform. I've worked with Exercise Inc at two locations and several coaches. The quality of coaching and supervision didn't change. Any time my regular coach Joel has been away for any reason, the trainer who substituted was always as professional and thorough as Joel. Because of the excellent documentation every trainer keeps on your progress, there's never any loss of continuity or progress. For any useful exercise program, that's an essential that Exercise Inc delivers consistently.

Since April of 2017 I have been training at Exercise Inc with trainer Jenny Gough. The 20 minutes a week program along with the Simple 9 process initially resulted in my losing a life changing 67 pounds. Although I continued training through these years, I allowed myself to slip with regards to following the Simple 9 and picked up several pounds. Since February I have gotten back on track and have lost 15 pounds and I am now close to my goal weight. Have been coming weekly since March 2016. Had an emergency surgery in December 2016 and I am convinced that my recovery time would not have been as quick as it was had I not been growing stronger due to the workouts. I joined Exercise Inc in Avon and changed to Greenwood once it opened. My brother convinced me to go as he felt his workouts with Exercise Inc. helped him with a stronger/faster recovery from his heart surgery.

I am 62 and have been going to Exercise INC since Nov. 2015. I had not exercised AT ALL since High School. I was having Back problems and the Dr. said strength training would help.

I also noticed I was losing muscle mass in my arms and legs, had trouble opening bottles & couldn't squat at ALL. I am so much stronger now than when I started. Before I could hardly pick my Grandson up, now he is 2 years older and I can pick him up with ease.

Another thing my Triglycerides were over 500, after starting exercise they are now in the normal range.

I stopped going with the intention of going to the YMCA, that didn't work out so I came back. Not sorry at ALL. 20 min. once a week is great!!!
