This place feels cozy and welcoming to me. The people are always friendly, both staff and fellow members. It feels like we are all on the same team. The facility shows its age, but it's quite a facility with swimming pool, whirlpool, infrared sauna, medicated steamroom, tanning and all the rest. Keeping all of that going is a lot more overhead than the typical fitness club, so the fees are a little bit more than some places, but not at all out of line. What other club offers a ladies water aerobics class? Six days a week, the Zumba class energizes the whole exercise room. I can't help but up the speed on my treadmill or work that leg press a little harder when I hear those catchy upbeat tunes.

The one in Elkhart they have done many upgrading. Enjoy being there love the water aerobics. I can't do the floor exercises but the water aerobics rated number 5 in my eyes

It's the best gym in the area imo. They have a pool, hot tub, sauna & steam room. It's always very clean. The lady that works in the locker room on women's days is constantly wiping everything down. I try to go every other day & other than it being busy at the times I usually go (6pm-9pm) I've never had a bad experience. I lost 77lbs (174lbs to 96.6lbs) in 5.5mos working out at Fitness US & eating healthy. I'll be a member as long as it stays as nice as it is now...😉

It's a decent little gym. Admittedly, it does get very hot in here during the summer, as the air-conditioner seems to be set to "off" or "low" most of the time. An issues I tend to have here is people never want to properly re-rack the weights. Some of the equipment is aging as well. They also have two Smithsonian machines, but they only have one squat rack, which is a big let down for some. Other than that, the staff seem to be friendly.

I just wanna say that fitness usa takes money without consent. my money was taken out of my bank account without my consent which btw my bank has been notified about it and its not the first time that this has happened with fitness USA :) so the banks are on to you people :) and also for signing me up in June for a years subscription. When I haven't even set foot in there since April. I just want people to know what a fraud you people are! :) u dont even deserve a one star but that's the lowest rating and I want people to know what they are getting into. #fitnessUSA

If you want to cancel your membership they have the worst policy u have to send them a letter stating that u want to cancel something that can be easily done on the phone they want u to explain y u don't want to be a member. From my experience I wouldn't recommend anybody to go there planet fitness offers alot and they treat there members with alot of respect even if you want to cancel
