I am a pretty devoted hot yoga practitioner, and I try to maintain my yoga practice, even on the road. While I was in Indy for work, I was able to squeeze in two classes with Jen X., one of the owners. Jennifer, the owner, made me feel welcome and right at home when I showed up for my first class, which is always something I look for in studios.
It's clear she and her co-owner have put a lot of thought and care into fostering a community of inclusion within the studio, and it shows! Flourish's ethos seems to be "take what you need, leave what you don't". Classes are challenging, but practitioners were encouraged to listen to our bodies and modify as needed. If anyone is on the fence and feeling intimidated by trying hot yoga, I would recommend trying a class at Flourish for that reason.
Such a lovely gem in Fishers! Thanks again, Jen, and hope to take a class with you the next time I'm in Indy!

The Prenatal Mind & Body program here is one of the best pregnancy resources I have found in Hamilton County. Lauren and Sarah created a safe space for ALL kinds of pregnancy group support, not just yoga. They structured classes around common pregnancy themes, including affirmations, meditations, gentle movement, and pelvic floor preparation. They are both very qualified in Doula/Midwife/Emotional/Medical support and answering questions as they come up each week. They truly care about every participant's questions, concerns, and needs. I wish the series went longer because I didn't want it to end! I highly recommend it for any expecting mothers looking for a support group and physical/emotional/mental support along the way. I feel so lucky to have found this resource for my first pregnancy and I feel much more informed and confident going into birth after participating in the Prenatal Mind & Body program.

I’ve always had a great experience at Flourish Yoga & Wellbeing! The level of talent the instructors have is super impressive — but don’t let that intimidate you if you’re new to yoga. I definitely qualify as beginner-level and can promise you that everything taught in class can be modified to make your time worthwhile! One of my dear friends, Greta, is an instructor there and her classes are truly amazing. Definitely give this place a try!

I’ve been attending classes here both as a student and teacher for over 5 years. It’s truly my favorite yoga studio in the central Indy area. The teachers are all great and the class variety is extensive! I absolutely love this studio and have met such great friends through my practice at Flourish.

My daughter and I did the Wednesday restorative yoga class the day before Thanksgiving. We’ve both done a lot of yoga in Fishers, Indianapolis, Bloomington, and out of state. This was a very strange class, it was supposed to be half restorative and half meditation. We usually love these types of classes.
It turned out to be the instructor reading from a paper script. There was constant reading, so much so, that meditation could not be done. She keep reading on and on and on. Also, we didn’t work on stretching any body areas as is usually the case in restorative yoga. The studio also didn’t provide bolsters or blocks or blankets. The instructor claimed it was Covid protocol, but other studios in the area provide them all the time for restorative yoga.
Instead of feeling restored and relaxed, we left annoyed. It seemed a waste of time and money. It makes me wonder if the studio requires their instructors to be trained and certified.
