The venue was great. However, Casey Summer turned out to be extremely rude and unprofessional. When a confrontational situation came about, she sided with one side and didn't even know the entire situation prior to approaching. She never took time to hear both sides she just instantly decided one side was right and one was wrong. Casey Summer just continued to assume she knew what was happening based on what it looked like. I do believe the different appearance of the people involved played a huge part. What Casey Summer did not realize when she approached the situation is that a senior woman had been assaulted, but a man, and she witnessed the reaction of an assault that was extremely verbal. Of course, a woman over 60 is not going to get physical and put her hands on someone , although that is what she experienced. The woman did get extremely upset after a man who she had never seen more does. She knew his name physically touched her in an aggressive manner. The lady was told more than once she could leave by Casey Summer. Now, how can this be when she was assaulted to then be asked to leave. This lady traveled hours to be in attendance to support her granddaughter to find herself being told she could leave because she was upset about being assaulted, and the man never once was spoken to. Casey Summer, still to this day, never tried to listen to this woman. When Casey Summer was asked for her name, she said this was her event. This took place at the Midweat Crossroads Volleyball Finals JVA the weekend of 5/10-5/11.

Parking is a joke for a tournament. The food was very poor options (standard pretzel, nachos n cheese - husband sd was nasty, the courts are not great. On Sunday, we were on court 9 and couldn't see half the time because people walking by. Standard little sets of bleachers - in the walk way. Just poorly designed over all.

After attending several volleyball tournaments in other locations where things were terribly run, attending the one at the Hammond Sportsplex last Saturday was a breath of fresh air! Let's start with the fact that there was ample parking - that's HUGE! And, then, the people selling tickets were kind, which goes a long way. In addition, the facility itself was very pretty and clean. GREAT experience!!

Great facilities but the person in charge of running the soccer leagues does not do his job. His lack of communication is extremely bad. He will never answer phone calls or emails and he sends you game times the day before a game. After talking to other teams it seems to be a common problem and it caused many teams to leave and are not coming back.

Price is expensive to attend a volleyball tournaments. They tell you one price but they do not accept cash and have to purchase the tickets online and charge you a 10.87% convenience fee. They also make the tournament a 2 day tournament so they get entrance fee for 2 days. It could EASILY be completed in one day.
The complex is very nice, however the concessions seem to never have enough people working as the line is always very long.
For the fees they charge the tournaments (entry+door) they would get more refs and not make the girls ref.

Came to a youth soccer tournament entrance was 10 dollars per person, including children. I think it's expensive. Other places usually charge 5 dollars or less and only for adults, not children. It's supposed to be family-friendly events.

A great facility. I was there for a volleyball tournament. The Sportsplex handled the crowd inside well and had ample parking for everyone. The Sportsplex had nice facilities - a workout area with plenty of exercise equipment, a walking track, basketball and volleyball courts, snack service and a lounge area (although I was not able to get to the lounge). My only knock is that they seemed to cut corners on noise damping with only half of the hard ceiling covered by soft fabric.

Completely horrible for the high school finals. The schedule is out for a week. Team's new they play possible to 2 to 3 games depending on win. And when it came down to the final game the opposing team would have been playing three games would have been on there s and said that that was unfair. Most these girls are currently conditioning for club and the games are just a half hour with a 15 min. break. So what your telling me is these girls can't even play a full HS game most do t even get a break during season. Poor planning, schedule ing and excuse. It was in black and white on the site for a week maybe the team should of thought of losing if they didn't want to play three games.🤷

My wife reserved one of the soccer fields for our 3 year old's birthday party, 5 months prior to the event. She advised them that we would have a DJ. The gentleman assured us that it would be ok to have one and there were no other events scheduled. A few days prior to, she contacted them and the same gentleman advised her that there was an event on the other field and that it should not interfere with our event. Needless to say, the other event was a hip hop cardio dance class with 50 plus people. The music was extremely loud and had vulgar language. (No fault of theirs at all.) The staff did as much as they could to accommodate us which was great and very kind of them. Several parents left because of this reason. I was embarrassed and displeased for the booking of two events that should have been separated. The staff that was on site were great and the facility was wonderful. The person who booked the events, dropped the ball

Very nice complex. We were there for a volleyball tournament. Bleachers are available and chairs are allowed as well. The only negative is the scoreboard locations. Some courts use electronic scoreboards that are very easy to see. Some courts use the scoreboards meant for basketball. You can't see these from the bleachers. Parking lot is very big and accommodates everyone. Driving in and out of the complex was very well thought-out. Easy to get in and out. Restrooms are very clean. There is a concession stand also. Not sure what is sold or the cost. This is a nice complex.

What a beautiful facility. The basketball courts are really nice , score boards are great . Indoor soccer fields are awesome they even have a great concession stand . The 1 star was given because I have never seen such horrible and disrespectful referees in my life . The ref even used disgusting foul language at a teenage boy . The ref did not call a kid putting two hands on another kid and shoved him into the scorers table . There was even a play where a kid slapped our kid in the face and busted his lip the kid apologized and said he didn’t mean it but no call again . Just horrible all around I recorded both games and will report the main ref

Great place for team sports. Six basketball courts and two soccer fields. Lots of leagues for kids and adults, open gym during the day, concession stand, bar, quarter mile walking track and a nice community room great for meetings and parties. Nice and clean facility. Majority of their staff is nice and friendly except the Caucasian lady in charge of basketball. She has a nasty attitude and doesn’t know how to treat guests. Soccer game ended at 10:20 and multiple groups were sitting down near concession area. She came up kicking us out clapping in a disrespectful manner. Would give this place 5 stars but the way she treated everyone made me think differently. They need to do something about her UGLY attitude. This is not the first time she’s mistreated guests, other people can vouch for that. Nice place, nasty attitudes.

I will NEVER use this facility EVER again. They canceled my event due to COVID and now im fighting to receive my deposit back. I have been going back and forth since Dec 14th between them and my bank!. I felt this may help someone else. If I could give them 0 stars then I would.
