When I began my training with Dustin I was dealing with intense pain from a pinched nerve in my C4 & C5 vertebrae for months and could barely lift my arm above my head. He developed a plan for me to increase mobility and avoid further injury. After just 6 weeks of training I am pain free and now able to lift almost 50lbs above my head! I feel stronger and more flexible now than I did when I was in my early 20’s.

I have been training with Dustin for two years. Despite my unavoidable personal medical problems, I have had consistent maintenance and appropriate health gains while working with him.

Dustin has a vast working knowledge of human body systems and how to make them function optimally. He takes time to explain and relate every exercise we do or every diet change he suggests. He explains how the training will help promote a healthier body and mind. Dustin individualizes workouts and diet plans to each client.

His coaching pushes one in a perfect way to maximize benefit. He is genuinely enthusiastic! It seems every move he prescribes for us to do at home or while working out with him in his gym has a functional purpose to help one live better. Dustin is a great human and a superb strength, flexibility, and wellness coach.

His attention and program gave me the confidence to begin working out to build my body to avoid further injury and to gain mobility and strength. Dustin has been coaching me for 2 years, and it has been life-changing. I’ve always been active, but Dustin’s holistic approach has taken my fitness to a new level. Practically speaking, I’m stronger, have more lean muscle, and my flexibility has increased. And I’ve been able to stick with his programming. He always says “It doesn’t take a sledgehammer to drive in a nail” meaning you don’t have to be extreme to get results. And you don’t — you just have to show up and be consistent.

But Dustin’s coaching goes beyond the strength training. We start each session with gratitude (may sound weird but when you get in the practice gratitude of it is pretty great), and we close each session with yoga.

You leave feeling both tired and full. It’s pretty great.

I began training with Dustin at Holistic Personal Training about 7 years ago and I lost around 30lbs and have kept it off. His functional training methods have kept me feeling and looking strong, and simply in better health than many of my peers.

Something that sets him apart is his dedication to yoga, gratitude, and mindfulness that are woven into his training method. Holistic is exactly right. Highly recommend!

Also, I just have to mention how impressive it is that he continues to educate himself. Yearly, he attends workshops around the country centered around Kettlebell training, functional movement, Animal Flow...the list grows. He brings back all of this knowledge to his clients in his gym space. His dedication is noteworthy.
