I took my twin daughters here for 2.5 seasons, and then we transferred to a different dance Academy. And even though the other dance Academy was highly recommended nothing felt like home like Impulse Dance Academy did Impulse Dance Academy is truly inclusive. They are so kind and so patient with all of the kids you can tell Ms. Kerri and her team love what they do to reach their goals. So we are starting back at Impulse Dance Academy for this season. It’s totally worth the extra drive time.

My 9 year old dancer loves Impulse & her instructors & classmates. She's going into her 3rd year of tap. Miss Kerri, Miss Kelly & the instructors are kind, patient, helpful, attentive & experienced. It's like a close knit happy family. The prices are competitive. There are several fun events throughout the year plus a holiday show, early summer recital & summer dance camps. A good variety of classes for all ages and good communication via email. I hope she dances with Impulse for many years.

Kerri the owner and our daughters dance teachers are amazing! Our daughter took her first dance class at Impluse and we love it so much she’s been going for 18 months now. I would highly recommend Impulse! The prices are very affordable and the atmosphere is very welcoming!

My daughter started ballet at Impulse Dance Academy a few months ago and is LOVING it. As a newcomer to the dance world, she's enjoyed being taught correct form and terminology and is really looking forward to giving performances at the end of each semester. As her parent, I love the low-key, friendly atmosphere, the reasonable cost for classes, and that the teachers really do enjoy what they're doing. Would highly recommend Impulse for any of their dance classes. :)

I’m not only a dancer but also a teacher at this studio. The one thing that stands out to me at Impulse is it’s family- like environment. Everyone is supportive over another. The parents, teachers and the kids- we are all a team. I highly recommend Impulse to anyone who is looking for a studio where you can improve in dance and have fun all at the same time!

The existing review by Rachel Kwilotz is outdated and does not apply, as Dance Expressions Studio went out of business, two years ago. IMPULSE DANCE ACADEMY is a newly remodeled studio, in the former dance space. Impulse’s owner is Miss Kerri Sullivan. She has an extraordinary dance background of over 45 years, and is a loving, kind, and knowledgeable dance instructor that students and parents appreciate. The former studio owner, Judy Tempio, is not and has not been affiliated with Impulse Dance Academy at any time. Many dance parents chose to remain with Miss Kerri, after the closing of Judy Tempio’s studio, because of her excellent ability to teach dance and properly manage the new Impulse Dance Academy.

Kerri Sullivan is a patient, wonderful teacher. I am taking private tap lessons. I have learned so much while sharing great encouragement and much laughter with her. I go early to watch her teach the little ones. She is so patient and kind with all of her students.

My Daughter is going on 3 years at Dance Expressions. I love the family atmosphere and the director, Judi Tempio. The very first day I brought my, then 2yr old, daughter into the studio Judi got down on her knees at her level and completely won my daughter over. Each day of classes my daughter runs in a hugs Judi and her manager, Candy, as soon as we get there and wont leave with out a good bye hug. My daughter has learned so much beyond dance at this studio. She has learned self respect and discipline. She has had so many opportunities from recitals to competitions. This studio creates a family supportive and positive atmosphere. There are Halloween get togethers at the pumpkin patch for the whole family and Christmas parties. I wouldn't send my children any where else. They are affordable and understandable to each families unique situations. I look forward to watching my daughter grow in dance and character for the next 13yrs.
