We started here when my daughter turned 2. We were on the waiting list for a few months. We finally got approved in Sept, and started October. By the end of November, I dropped out of the class.
Pos: The classes were great and interactive, there are many tools to play with, kids learn fast, the instructor is energetic and welcoming. My daughter enjoyed going there and looked forward to it every week. It was only 7 minutes away from home.
Neg: I did not feel that this facility was inviting enough or diversed enough. Some evenings, my daughter would be the only child of color and the atmosphere was very densed. I remember seeing more than 6 kids in my daughter's class at the start in October but after one month, it was just her and a new kid. My daughter wanted to play and make friends, but it seemed as if the parents were paying more than I was for their toddlers to compete with Simon Biles. The instructor was nice but one particular parent would redirect his daughter whenever my daughter came close to her and would make it seem like this was a competition rather than toddlers playing so they can have a good night sleep. We probably did a few sessions and left after Christmas because I didn't feel comfortable.

The cheer program is not as inclusive as they emphasized. They could be more understanding and knowledgeable of the importance of individuals and their cultural heritage practices. Staff should be more open for conversations and acceptance of cutural differences.
In the end my daughter found a gym that is more inclusive and willing to work with her so she can be apart of their cheer family.
I hope JPAC can become more inclusive as they emphasize to all individuals and cultures not just "inclusive" to hairstyles.

They can be quite rude here. No one speaks or greets you. Very cliquey. From the parents to the staff to the kids (learned behavior). The environment is not friendly at all.

Jaycie Phelps is the best!! Great people! Wonderful customer service. Hands down, best place to bring your children. Highly recommend. Ms. Crystal is one of the most amazing humans on this earth. The children and parents love her.

A great place for gymnastics (& cheerleading, too) in Greenfield, Indiana (just East of Indianapolis). Highly ranked, competitive gym. They offer recreational, JO and other specialty classes. There are occasional movie nights & open gyms. They offer showcases for the gymnasts to show off their skills. Prices are reasonable for the training and facility. The coaches my daughter has worked with are wonderful. We are happy to be a part of the JPAC family.

It's a large facility with lots of classes. Not particularly clean. Not particularly dirty. The waiting area is always packed and smells bad. Whoever is at the front desk has always been nice/polite. My daughter had 3 different teachers while she was there for a little over a year. All were nice enough. The 2nd one she had, she was there during Christmas so we got the teacher a gift. She never said thank you. In the 15-16 months we were there, tuition prices increased 3 times. I get it. Inflation. But I don't think the instruction my daughter was receiving was worth near $190 a month for 2 classes a week, so we left and found a new gym. Whoever handled our exit via email seemed kind of piqued. Very short answers. Not a thank you or a goodbye. While we were there, my daughter did have fun. I do not think she was pushed to do her best or received enough coaching/teaching. I'm sure JPAC is a great fit for many of the hundreds of families that bring their kids there. It's just not the right fit for us.

I cannot say enough good things about this gymnastics facility and their coaching staff!! The team at Jaycie Phelps Athletic Center focus on each gymnast as individuals to assess their talents, needs and goals.
Their goal is not βjust winning competitionsβ - they know that in the Gymnast puts the time and effort in to learn things (and learn things correctly!), that results will follow!
My daughter had essentially lost all confidence in herself and her abilities before we moved to JPAC . The coaches at JPAC have demonstrated the patience, perseverance and commitment needed to help her regain what she lost. As a result, she is back on top of her game and with a renewed love of the sport!!

My experience is the facility personnel are responsive to questions and concerns, which as a parent is important. The seasoned instructors are knowledgable but when our kids attended (not currently) don't recollect them having any of the newer/junior instructors so can't speak to that. There is some seating and work areas for parents but what I recollect was always busy. This facility is clearly one of the premier gymnastic/tumbling training centers in the area. I also liked they posted notices frequently to keep parents aware of any changes or issues proactively. One area we had to work on a little ourselves was keeping the billing/payment records accurate. But usually after a phone call or two this was resolved. This occurred because we used to pay by check (to ensure a guaranteed receipt) which probably caused some additional administrative work. Later we paid online which reduced the need to contact administration of issues.

When we moved to Indiana one of my top priorities was finding the best gym for our daughter. After visiting JPAC, I knew this is where she needed to train. Watching her compete this year at level 10 and remembering the gymnast that walked into JPAC that first practice are night and day. It is ALL because of the amazing talented coaches at Jaycie Athletic Center.

Best program around from the tiniest preschooler to college-bound Level 10s. Iβve had two girls on team for the past 8 years and love their commitment to make the girls the best people and gymnasts they can be! Love the JPAC family!

Hands down the best coaching in the State. Our family has been around the sport of gymnastics for nearly 20 years and recommend this gym most highly for coaching, safety, and competitive support.

My daughter has been on team at JPAC for 6 years now through levels 5-10. She loves everything about it. Kyle, Autumn, Carrie, Dave and Jaycie are amazing and treat these girls as their own family. Gymnastics provides such a wonderful experience for these young girls and I wouldn't want my daughter anywhere else.

My daughter is currently in their optionals program. We have been at JPAC for two years now and transferring there has made all the difference in both her success as an athlete, and love for the sport. Incredible coaching and camaraderie among team members! Itβs well worth the drive and commitment!

I have twin girls on the Optional team. It was simply the very best decision we ever made to transfer. The decision came with a considerable amount of thought and HOURS of discussion because we reside in Zionsville, and we had been at the same gym since they were toddlers. However, we will never regret the commitment we made for them. Our girls are striving, the coaches are some of the very best, and they've made lifelong friends. We look forward to many more years ahead.

My, almost 4 year old, son started taking classes here at the first of the year, and he loves it. As a parent, I love that he enjoys it, and I donβt have to fight him to go each week. The instructors have been great. I love that they work in circuits and the kids are always moving. Thereβs no just waiting in line for these little ones that have crazy amounts of energy.

Pros:
1.Some very good/excellent coaches (Alyssa & Kristi)
2. My kids love it
3. Gretchen (front desk) is very nice and treats customers with respect
4. Inexpensive for what you get
5. Private lessons are offered
6. Email Alerts
7. Open Gyms
Cons:
1. Plenty of beginner classes are available but once you pass the beginner class classes become limited. 4pm classes don't work for working moms.
2. Website has issues
3. Evening/Weekend front desk employees (except for Gretchen) need better training (computer and sensitivity).
4. The parents waiting area smells like dirty feet. There has to be something that can be done about it. Maybe a can of Lysol? It can be nauseating.
5. Email alerts: The same email comes twice
Overall my kids both love going here and I will continue to pay my monthly fee but front desk training needs to be implemented. A smile and a helpful attitude goes a long way.
