This is a fabulous place. An African American/Black Man invested $5 million dollars to have it built because he made millions off of the .com era. He once was an executive at what was Ameritech in the 1980's and 90's. Inside of the Field house is the Wabash College Athletic Department complete with a pool, workout rooms, wrestling, aerobic rooms and collegiate store. The Wabash Hall of Fame for all of the sports is housed here as well. Yes, the track is named after the iconic Coach Robert H. Johnson the famed DIII coach who was selected as the 2000 Olympic 4 X 100 Coach. π₯His work produced the last gold medal at the Olympic level.
I was in attendance for such an event as one of my former athletes, Marine Captain Attorney Wesley Douglas Chamblee, was inducted into the Football and Track Hall of Fame. I definitely recommend a visit here.

The facilities are very nice but seating was sparse and it was very difficult to find once we arrived on campus at Wabash. There were no directional signs to locate and enter the facility nor any clear indication of where to park and Google maps did NOT direct me there, only to the campus in general. If you've never been, please prepare for this. BTW, the fieldhouse is in the same building as the natatorium, behind fraternity row and the admin building.
