Absolutely fantastic gym! The staff are polite, friendly, encouraging, and engaged. The management and owners take great pride in keeping a clean and fully functional facility. While other gyms can be loud and shallow, I have found in order to make true gains one has to tap into their inner well. I am able to do that at LivRite. The owners have created an atmosphere encouraging members to find their inner well. There is a variety of classes and training, with ample lifting equipment and I very much enjoy charging up the mountain outside. This place is good for the price. I've been to LA Fitness, Lifetime and Planet Fitness, as a point of reference. Also, I'm an amateur boxer and my workouts are probably more intense than an average gym goer.

The good:

1. Has a hill outside, anyone can use
2. Has a decent size pool
3. Has a sauna
4. Basketball/Volleyball court is nice
5. Good mix of demographics (ie. not too many teenagers on phones all day)

The bad:
1. Definitely not as clean as people claim in the reviews. Locker rooms are a little disturbing.
2. The layout is strange and when it gets busy at all, it feels very cramped; like you're standing in someone's personal space all the time.
3. The heavy bag, which I use a lot in workouts, is dangerous. It is cheaply filled and has settled to the bottom. You could easily break a wrist or hand on it.
4. Gym hours are shorter than most other places.
5. In addition to being dirty, the lockers are tiny and about 1/3 of them don't even work.

EDIT: I've upgraded my review from 2 stars to 4 stars because the level of effort put out by the GM at this place is second to none. He genuinely wants everyone to love their experience at LivRite and you won't find that at other gyms.

My husband and I have been members for over 4 years. We transferred 2 the Fishers location . Absolutely love it. We do water aerobics 4 times a week. My husband has dementia and love the instructors but I think his favorite are the hydromassage beds. I've been going for 2 years and it's been great. The staff and trainers are awesome! Gym gets pretty busy around 5pm but they have extra equipment on the 2nd floor which helps a lot. I usually go up there when its busy and can do what I need. There is a 3 lane pool, hot tub, and sauna in both locker rooms, and 2 hydro massage chairs near the entrance. Members get access to some free group classes too! Non members can also do classes for a small fee.

I have been a member of LivRite on and off for about 4 years. My first membership was for their smaller Noblesville location. I liked that it was a short trip from home, but the equipment was old and ill-maintained and the gym always felt dirty. The windows and bathroom mirrors were always smudgy. I ended up cancelling my membership after only a few months. The second time I applied for membership was at their newer Fishers location. Again an easy jog from my home, but maintenance issues still persist.

First the Good: It's a Christian Gym, which I love!! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The facility has a nice variety of new machines and a great layout. The membership fee is reasonable, especially if you commit to a longer term.

The Bad: Cleanliness and basic building maintenance are still issues. The water fountains are especially grungy and crusty with limescale which makes them breeding sites for bacteria and rust. The windows and floors need a good professional cleaning. The bathrooms in general need TLC. Basic things like soap dispensers have been inoperable for over a year. The second floor has a section of tile that has been missing for months, and there is constantly trash collecting in the unkempt shrubbery.

Overall it's a nice gym, but the lack of attention to the condition of the building and it's facilities is frustrating.

Disappointed with the cleanliness of the women’s locker rooms and the complete disregard of my son at Kidrite.

Locker Rooms: the showers are absolutely disgusting on a regular basis. You can see where shaved hair is left for weeks and the hair in the drain just accumulates until someone pulls it out and discards it on the floor outside the shower. I previously mentioned this to one of the managers and they informed me that the lack of cleanliness is due to their limited female staff. Not only is this excuse unacceptable, it is disgraceful as cleaning can also be done after hours.

Kidrite: We arrived today at 10a to release my son (18 months) into the care of the young lady « overseeing » the children, only to be told that she would not be able to keep a watchful eye on him because she could not place the sleeping child on her chest into a crib. While this service is only an additional $20 a month, it is not at all worth me risking the safety of my child.

No stars! I have asked people at the front desk to have the Ladies locker room cleaned. They don't appreciate my face-to-face request. This gym needs professional cleaning. Power-wash all the floors! The far side of the pool has never been swept; the same used Band-Aids are under the benches. The handicap chair has been broken for a least 2 years. The whirlpool has white water stains around the inside of the whirlpool. The floors in the dry sauna are gummy, the glass window has never been wiped down, the sauna walls have "sweat" stains on the walls and the showers need to be blasted with bleach. Half the lockers do not work. The lockers are dusty and dirty. This gym should be as clean as a hospital, and nobody should have to point this out. It's a given to keep everyone safe. My next step is to contact the Health Department.

I love gym so much! We actually drive out of our area to go. It is such a positive place. This gym is always 5-star clean, the staff is so friendly, the equipment is state of the art- and it’ll stay that way because the staff and members work hard to keep things nice in this gym! The vibe is positive and the environment is energizing. 10/10 would recommend 😁

Was a member at LA Fitness and luckily found LivRite. I can’t say enough good things about LivRite Fishers. It’s a great, clean family atmosphere. LivRite is twice as far for me to drive but I never regret making the trip. Highly recommend!

I love working out at Livrite. It has everything you need in a gym such as free weights, cardio machines, classes, sauna, pool, basketball court and a smoothie lounge. A plus is that all the machines are newer and the workers are always friendly and helpful.

Additionally, the facility is always clean— even before the covid-19 occurred. Therefore, I always feel comfortable working out there especially with the precautions the gym has put into place. I highly recommend this gym!
