Doug is an outstanding instructor. He explained everything in detail from the proper way to hold the club, alignment, posture, the swing, and making contact with the ball. I've never played golf, in three short weeks I was able to drive and chip the ball very well. Great conversationalist on non-golf topics as well. I recommend this facility to anyone wanting to learn golf or improve their game.

Nice little place to hit balls you got a chipping green to practice pitch shots grass or mats even have heated areas for winter time. The chipping green was in much better shape this time they have all kinds of clubs balls shoes golf bags nice practice place. Went there again today June 27th 2023 chipping green was in excellent condition

MDs Golf Academy is the only place in the ECI to work on your golf game year round! The staff is knowledgeable and Doug is a great swing coach if you are looking for lessons!! The addition of the large practice green outside has made MDs my #1 choice for practicing any and every shot you make around the green. Only thing lacking is a quality bunker to practice out of!

The lady who was working was ABSOLUTELY amazing. So overly helpful and knowledgeable.. we started out on the indoor simulator which was lot of fun and new, and we ended on the driving range! There were so many cool golf accessories! Great place and can’t wait to come back!

It was all that I could ask for. I came for the driving range, stayed for the advice and review.
The range, is well layed out. Yard markers and greens, with all yardage, shown on the wall, in the covered (heated) driving bays. There are fresh grass teeing areas and a chipping green, of good size.
In the building, they offer video golf, putting area and a launch tracker, teeing booth.
Today, I got to use the launch tracker, with Todd, being my observer. He watched my wretched swing, handed me an adjusted club, to fit my swing, and gave me 30 yards on my drive.
I will be making this, a favorite stop. I have much work to do, this place is an excellent place to do it.
As for, why only 4 stars? It does lack the flash and dazzle, most would expect, from a 5 star rating. It doesn't have a large staff, waiting to sell you everything, in the store. Any true golfer, that reads this review, should understand, all that flash, doesn't improve your swing.

It is a little ways away from the University, but it is a great place to hit some golf balls. The are a few thing in the feild to aim for and the gras is well kept.
