Literally the best weightlifting gym in town. I’ve worked out at VASA, Crunch, LA Fitness, Anytime Fitness, YMCA, and Planet Fitness here in Indy over the last 7 years and kept running into broken equipment, long wait times, or poor service. MEI is great on every level and I’m so glad I finally found it!

The gym has been noticeably unkept for some time now. The water station filter clearly needs replacing as the red light notification has been on for months. One of the TVs has been frozen on the same scene for weeks, and free weight plates are constantly scattered around, making the space feel cluttered and neglected. Regular upkeep and attention to these details would really improve the experience for everyone using the facility.

Will let you sign up online but have to quit in writing or come on site and quit in person. I don't care if you cite policy that is complete garbage. This is not an apartment lease this is a $50 gym membership. I've paid when I was charged and never caused problems. If I need to end my membership it should be in a way that is convenient and at least allow the same method for ending a membership as signing up. Complete garbage business practice.

Top tier gym in Indianapolis. If you’re looking for a smaller gym that’s focus is truly on pushing your fitness to the top level, then this keystone location is the place. All of the equipment is superb and there is always new equipment being swapped out. For a 24 hour gym the place is kept clean. Staff is always friendly. Gym goers are supportive and courteous. Happy to be a member for 3 years now. My fitness journey has benefited greatly since I joined.

New to MEI and absolutely loving it. I moved to Indy area in November and started at LA fitness but wasn't satisfied for many reasons. A colleague of mine told me about MeI, and I'm already impressed. If anything, I'm upset it hasn't been around my entire gym life. Where were you when I started in high school 15 years ago? 😂 They are very responsive. I sent a DM via Instagram and a they immediately responded and also had someone call me. I could write a separate section on their equipment alone. They have things I've only seen on tictoc. An absolutely must. You guys ruined me for toher gyms. There's no going back for me.

Great gym atmosphere. But the management and billing company are not on the same page and are absolutely terrible. Was told my account would be frozen by the billing company and a month later they want charges and fees. Management had a chance to fix the problem and said they are not gonna do anything about it. Such a shame a great gym is ran with without proper management and customer service. As someone who has ran gyms for over ten years, I know this is a prime example of how you shouldn't treat a customer. If only the great gym atmosphere could bleed over to management and billing.

Was enjoying my workout, I took off my shirt to pose when the 40 year old washed up worker came up to me very aggressively saying “it’s a public place put your shirt on” extremely rude and unprofessional, I then looked for the rules to see if it was an actual rule, I couldn’t find it so I went up to that worker and asked him if I could see the rule. He then got more aggressive saying, “oh you want to do this right now” all I wanted to do was see the rule in writing and I got my membership canceled, I’m extremely disappointed that something like this could happen. I tried to file a report but I was ignored. Please don’t support this gym, they don’t care about there members

Great gym with serious lifters. Equipment is top of the line. Not a huge gym, but every square inch is effectively used! 2 minor downsides, the loud praise music. Bring your headphones and turn it up. 2nd, I've been going for 9 months or so and twice the door didn't open outside of staffed hours. No one's fault; technology fails sometimes.

Locker room/ bathroom could use a lot more space as there’s hardly any room and hardly enough lockers the bathroom isn’t the cleanest. Aswell as no area to stretch ect… But when it comes to the variety of weights available and machines no other place competes. Overall gym is not the biggest and Locker isn’t great either but when it comes to the machines and weights it’s amazing.

Can NOT believe this organization. I cancelled my service over the phone in August and they have been trying to billing me after the fact. I paid the month of September (you have to give a 30 day notice) and then was billed in October and again in November. They stated that they did not accept my cancellation until the end of September and I was liable for October now. Also, because I did not pay for October they claimed I owed for October and then would need to pay for the month of November as well to cancel my membership. I called them about this and they basically told me if I didn’t pay for October and November then they would continue to bull charge me for the next 3 months and then send the total bill to collections. I can Not understand how a company could in good faith operate like this. I am extremely disappointed with this organization and would recommend anyone looking for a good gym with good values seek out the YMCA.

The gym itself was okay. I would say it has a good vibe, and during the peak of the pandemic, they did a good job of keeping things clean and all of that. Equipment isn't bad but that's where it ends.

I understand all companies have rules but most companies were willing to change things to accommodate the pandemic. I understand the rules state "must cancel in person" but I had to move in an emergency a few hours away and the gym wasn't my first priority. I explained my situation and said I could show my new address to prove and they weren't willing to accommodate, even though it had partly had to do with the pandemic. I had to call credit card companies during this time and even THEY were willing to help out a bit, but this gym said basically "screw you, you must drive here multiple hours each way to cancel" which is a large waste of fuel, time and money when they easily could have cancelled.

I didn't mind paying a few months or whatever, but they just kept charging for multiple months until the account closed.

Just think when other companies were willing to help out and someone has actual proof, not just "I don't go to the gym so I want to cancel", you should maybe tweak rules during a global pandemic.

Will literally tell everyone to never go here again. Absolute joke of a gym.

I had my son thrown out in June and told me his last payment would be that month. I canceled my membership due to me moving and ended my membership so my last payment would be July. They have charged my son for July, August, and September and me for August. I have been trying to close my old bank account but since payments are still running it’s cause overage payments and I can’t close it. I’ve called their 800 phone number as well as talked to people at the fishers location and no one will help. I’m told I’ll get call backs and never do. It his is the worst customer service I have ever had. I can’t believe a retired military man would let his company run like this. I am a single full time dad trying to make ends meet and he is over drafting my bank account. Shame on you and your company!!!!

Best gym atmosphere I’ve ever been in. The owner is a solid guy who cares about his customers by having the best equipment. There are machines in each gym that you won’t see in most places. He is constantly adding neat things to the gym. A few have given bad reviews, but only because they were caught disrespecting managers, other people, and/or sneaking in without paying. They were upset and gave “bad reviews.”Needless to say, don’t listen to any poor reviews. This is a fantastic gym. Multiple locations! Great equipment! Awesome sauna! Awesome God!! Not just the best gym in the city, but one of the best gyms I’ve visited anywhere. MEI Keystone has a wide variety of modern equipment and the owner is getting new stuff all of the time. As much stuff as there is, the gym never feels cramped or overloaded. It’s spacious and bright and always smells clean, which is probably attributable to the top-notch cleaning staff who are always around doing their jobs. The only downside to MEI is that it has spoiled me and now any other gym I visit is a significant step down in quality by comparison. Definitely recommend this place and especially for serious physique athletes and power lifters.

I’ve trained at many gyms, and mei is the best! The owner is a genuine down to earth guy that truly cares about his members, and take great pride in each of his locations! The equipment is far beyond anything I’ve used previously, and instead of just buying a line of equipment, he picks the best from each company!
