Myriad Weightlifting is top notch when it comes to coaching, community, support, and an environment that welcomes steady progress in and out of the gym. I’ve been a part of the team for a year now, and for the first time since I did gymnastics as a child, I can safely say I’ve finally found a movement practice that is just as exciting and interesting to me. With the added benefit of access to Yoga and Move classes, I can experience a well-rounded fitness and mindfulness routine here.

If you're ready to get serious about your training, then this is the gym you want. It's time for you to stop eating nachos in between sets on the bench press and leave Planet Fitness. Stop watching gymfluencer TikToks outside of LA Fitness trying to plan your workout just so you can wait in line for 30 minutes for a squat rack to open. Say goodbye to deteriorating equipment and bathrooms that get cleaned once every two years. Come to Myriad where you'll get around-the-clock coaching and choose classes that suit your needs. This ain't your dad's garage gym. This is a utopia of discipline and strength. Why be a bird-chested weakling who can't get a date when you could be a hulking Greek god who can't get a date. And for every Hinge rejection, there is a barbell waiting to be power cleaned. Stop lifting yourself off the ground from heartbreak and start lifting yourself onto a pull-up bar. Don't only make your body swol, but make your heart swol by making some new friends. There are gym bros and gym brosephinas ready to cheer you on and help make yourself stronger than your excuses. You've got one life, one body. Are you making the best of it?

What can I say about Myriad Weightlifting? Myriad is the top weightlifting gym in Indianapolis. Suppose you are looking to be the best. You need to train with the best. Dan German is a master of his craft and the best coach around. Dan has a fantastic eye for spotting the minor and major details in correcting your lifts. The facility has everything you need to make the gains necessary to compete at the highest level. If competing isn't what you're looking for, that is ok. Dan and the rest of your coaches can help you to achieve your goals. Myriad Weightlifting gets three white lights from me.

Dan German (DG) is one of the best kept secrets in Indianapolis. His experience at the national level in multiple sports, including D5 rowing and Olympic Weightlifting has given him the tools to be successful in strength and endurance sports. The quality of coaching, caliber of the athletes and training environment is second to none. Regardless of your goal, I highly recommend DG and Myriad.

Myriad Weightlifting, under Dan's leadership, has provided a welcoming and nurturing environment for athletes of all levels. Having only weight lifted for about a year now, I have steadily progressed through personalized training plans and excellent coaching. Furthermore, being surrounded by like-minded individuals who are there training right alongside you only fuels my need to get better. I could not recommend Myriad enough.

Myriad Weightlifting has drastically improved my physical and mental fitness all while being challenging, safe, and fun! I had been doing CrossFit for 4 years but found it easy to integrate olly lifting thanks to the guidance and coaching they provide.
Despite my long arms and legs, the coaches help me make adjustments to the lifts and their attention to detail catch what I need to focus on as I go from a complete novice to being more confident with each passing week. I can honestly say I'm improving!
It's been so much fun to do the work with folks that have been doing this for years, as well as others that are just starting out like me.
I've been in the program since it started over 3.5 months ago, and have noticed improvements not just in my strength but also in my running, cycling, and of course CrossFit. I can't wait to see where I'm at a year from now!

Dan German’s coaching is top notch, whether I’m training at Myriad’s facility or remotely from home. Dan excels at creating effective programming, as well as providing cues and detailed explanations for improving technique. Myriad Weightlifting is for people who want to compete, as well as people who lift for fitness and strength. If you are interested in Olympic weightlifting, I wholeheartedly recommend Myriad Weightlifting!

Dan is not only an amazing coach but person. He makes the awkward moments when first learning Oly lifting into something fun. There isn’t a day at the gym where I am not laughing, being pushed, and/or learning something new. This sport is very challenging so you need to have a coach who is educated and experienced in this type of lifting and Dan is that person. Dan has made me into such a stronger person physically and mentally. I have also gotten into the best shape I have been in since college soccer because of these workouts. All I can say is choose Dan, trust his process, and have patience because you won’t regret it.

Myriad Weightlifting has been instrumental in my development as a Novice weightlifter. The members of the gym are welcoming of all talent levels, and the programming is fresh and keeps training exciting. Coaching staff has been top notch and communicative, as well as adapting to the needs of their athletes' if adjustments need to be made. If you have a competitive mindset, this is also the place for you! There are competitions throughout the year which are attended by athletes at the gym and are a great place to push yourself and show your skills. Overall if you are looking to learn a technically and mentally demanding skill, as well as improve as an athlete, this is the place for you.

Great environment and people. I love how my body feels when I am consistently lifting, but it’s really the people that keep me coming back!
I’ve been weightlifting with Dan German for about 7 years and its one of the best things I’ve done for my health. While it was intimidating to start l at first, I am so happy to have the team at Myriad. In addition to Dan there are so many other coaches at Myriad that have been great! Larkin, Anna, Richie, Will, Andra, Holly and countless other coaches that are knowledgable and friendly.
Lifting weights has given me a new appreciation for my body’s abilities. I feel stronger when I hike, run, swim and practice Pilates and yoga. If you are in the fence, give it 3 months of solid effort and see how you feel. You’ll probably make some new friends along the way too!

Where Coach Dan German goes, his athletes follow. If you are looking to improve your weightlifting skills or just even start picking up a barbell, Myriad Weightlifting is the place to be. It is a welcoming environment, and everyone is learning and improving everyday. Dan has been my coach since I’ve started focusing on weightlifting. He is knowledgeable and knows how to program to his athletes’ profiles. I love being part of this team.

I am a remote athlete, but had never been into Myriad. I just dropped in for the first time and it was an amazing experience! The facility and equipment are great, and the people are amazing! Even though I live half way across the country, I felt so welcomed by everyone at Myriad and felt like I was apart of their community. Dan has been great about making the remote athlete experience a smooth and effective experience for me as an athlete.

I became one of Dan's athletes in December 2020. At that point, I had never tried Olympic weightlifting and was starting as a complete beginner in the sport. He has guided me from my first snatch, countless training sessions, through a bunch of PRs, and into my first competition. Even in a gym full of athletes, I have always gotten the perfect amount of attention to improve day after day. Dan has created a program and team culture that is absolutely unmatched.

Myriad weightlifting is an incredible program led by Coaches Dan German and Larkin Cooper. Both push you become stronger and more efficient through technique coaching, boosting confidence, and pushing you to become a better weightlifter. Their guidance has allowed me to become a stronger and more confident athlete. On top of that, the culture at Myriad is awesome and your fellow lifters challenge, uplift, and support you in and outside of the gym. Morning Crew is the best crew!

As someone who’s trained with dozens of coaches in other sports, I can tell you that what makes Dan one of a kind is his balance of *virtuosity* and *care*--a precious equilibrium to strike. And he works damn hard to maintain it.
Just as we, the [Myriad Weightlifting] Team, do our part by showing up session after session to hone our craft under his guidance, he continually earns his status as ‘our coach’ by showing up and exercising seemingly boundless capacities for these qualities--virtuosity and care--so rarely found in harmony, even amongst top coaches.
The first time I trained with Dan, twelve of us performed our lifts more or less simultaneously. His attention then went from athlete to athlete, issuing one, maybe two, specific and personalized cues PER PERSON as to how the next rep should be improved, all captured by his eagle eyes and logged into his brain in a matter of seconds. It was incredible.
Just yesterday, in a room full of action, complete with fully loaded barbells falling to the floor, he noticed my toes lifting too much relative my heels. In that frenzy, he noticed… my toes! In what we do, minutiae like that means the difference between making or missing lifts. Not only does Dan see it all, but he prescribes fixes accordingly and on-the-spot.
You could be forgiven for thinking that Myriad Weightlifting might be an ultra-competitive, non-stop, guns blazing, energy drink-fueled, you-must-lift-this-much-or-you-don’t-belong environment. But even a peak inside dispels these notions immediately.
Dan meets athletes/clients where they are in an effort to build them up, regardless of ambitions (not everyone is there to compete after all), developmental stages, training availability, individual variations, etc. He makes weightlifting make sense for everybody, however it may fit into and benefits one’s life.
He makes no secret of his own goal of creating the best Olympic Weightlifting team out there, and he’s doing it in a way that includes everybody. All this seems to have laid the foundation for the receptive, personal development-focused culture of Myriad Weightlifting, which I love and am so proud to be a part of.

Myriad Weightlifting, led by Coach Dan German is a phenomenal team to train with. I have been training under Dan since fall of 2018. I have had many coaches in various sports before transitioning into weightlifting, and I have never had such an attentive and detailed Coach as Dan German is. If you are looking for a team and Coach that will push you to be better and help you excel in your goals, I would highly recommend Myriad Weightlifting to you.

Been training under Dan, head coach of Myriad weightlifting, since July of 2019. He's a standout coach who goes all in for his athletes, regardless of skill level. Everyone is welcome and everyone is attended to. In addition, he has assembled a great facility and supportive team. I cannot recommend Myriad weightlifting too highly! :)
