Website advertises $25 week long pass. When I arrived I was told they now charge $50 and they wouldn’t honor the price on their own website. Even spoke to the owner who just blamed her marketing company and still wouldn’t honor what they are advertising.

They had an excellent cleaning guy, but fired him, he was never replaced, and now the establishment is dirty. Shower stall on one occasion had human feces in it. Many times paper towel dispensers are empty, and no soap is in the locker room. Cables also broke on several occasions, so I couldn’t even work out. The final straw was when the owner threatened to tow my car for parking in a public stall they designated “Owner parking only”. I couldn’t believe it, a business owner threatening to tow a customer of 6 years Very poor business practices. Switched to a nice, clean, friendly gym, with many many more amenities.

Great place to workout! The staff have always been professional and friendly. The machines and weights all seem to be in working order. My only complaint would be the men’s locker room. All lockers are pretty much broken. Missing hooks , missing shelves, unable to lock them.

One More Gym is a solid option for the greater Kokomo area and should be considered a top choice for anyone looking for a new gym or new to the area.

I left due to a work relocation. I’ve seen some negative reviews focused on the cancellation process, but I can confidently say that those individuals likely didn’t ask about or read their agreement. Cancellation is straightforward—it must be done in person before the next billing cycle. I had no issues whatsoever, and you won’t either if you plan ahead.

The gym is clean and well-maintained despite the varying ages of the equipment. The facility is spacious, with plenty of room for functional training. Additionally, they stock several pieces of equipment I’ve never seen in a commercial gym, which is an unexpected asset. Despite the variety, they utilize the space well and seem to be in the process of upgrading their machines. Since joining, I’ve noticed upgrades to their dumbbells, cable machines, and the addition of a new ab machine.

In terms of equipment, I have two minor complaints:

The weight plates are mismatched, which is a personal pet peeve. While it doesn’t impact functionality, I prefer uniform plates to avoid subtle weight distribution issues.

The benches in the free-weight area are not all adjustable, which can make transitioning between flat and incline bench presses less fluid.

The locker rooms are basic, with showers and a sauna. However, in my opinion, the sauna doesn’t get hot enough to be effective for my purposes.

The gym also has a designated posing and gym selfie room, which seemed well-utilized. It was refreshing to be in a gym with serious lifters rather than Instagram wannabes cluttering the space with tripods.

They also have a well-established youth boxing program, which the kids seemed heavily invested in—a great option if you have children who need to burn off energy. There’s also some form of childcare program, though I can’t speak to the specifics since I don’t have kids. It appeared to be open during peak hours with staff on-site.

If you’re into supplements, they sell protein shakes and other products.

Finally, the staff is always friendly and greets you every time you walk in.

Was recently in Kokomo for a few days for work. They offer day and weekly passes which can be purchased online (you'll get a QR code to scan in for 24/7 entry) as well as normal memberships.
Excellent gym for lifting and conditioning.
Very large with several rooms (abs, boxing, powerlifting, bodybuilding, etc)
Very good equipment used (Rogue bars, plenty of bumpers, back attack, belt squat, reverse hyper, high end Ringside punching bags, chains, good benches, etc)
Full length sled sprint area with multiple push and pull sleds. Building length on Google Earth is 70 yards and I covers most of it so I'm guessing 40-50 yards.
Despite it being more of lifting/hardcore gym was very clean. I lift middle of the night and I guess a contracted guy comes in to do the floors and everything as he was there.
Several other features such as classes and stuff during the daytime but did not take advantage of those.
Only thing I would've liked to seen was a GHR and a deadlift jack although tbh they could've been there and I just didn't notice due to how much stuff is in there.

TLDR: don't sign up unless you never plan on cancelling. They will bill you till you die, and probably after as well.

Decent gym experience, horrible billing experience. I left town without cancelling.my membership. Was reminded about it when they changed systems to longer allow you to use your phone app for entry. Emailed the gym asking how I could cancel my membership. Gym responded by saying I could come in to club and cancel. I responded by saying I no longer resided in Indiana. I never heard back from the gym again, even after sending another email with my account Information in an attempt to cancel.

Finally made it back to Indiana to cancel. And guess what?

Was charged months after canceling... every month continued to be be charged. I reversed the charges on credit card. Then the billing tried to charge me again. I reversed again cancelled the card. The billing company called me and said I owed them the monthly fee. I explained that I cancelled months ago. They "ok" and then told me I still owe them the monthly fee. Uh. Nope. They told me they would send the 41 dollar fee to collections. 😅

Downright predatory. Not canceling before I left was on me, I gave you probably a year of free billing.... Continuing to attempt to milk me after canceling is on you.

Edit: I see the gym replied. Note they left out that I had to also dispute the charges that continued months after I canceled. You need to honor your contract that people sign with you. This review section is full of people saying you charged them continuously after canceling. And I am one of them.

My card expired and this gym continued to charge me multiple late fees for an account that I was physically not able to pay until arrival of my new card. My best friend also sadly passed away around a week before my card expired and while I’ve been trying to grieve, this gym has been constantly berating me and calling me asking for payment. I would not recommend to anyone that cares about their mental health more than their physical fitness.

I don’t recommend this place. I haven’t been in over a year and somehow I owe them money ? They have a check in system but apparently don’t use it or help customers out who haven’t been in a while to make sure they wanna continue paying for it instead they just keep charging you. I know someone else who is being told she owes over 1k to them and it’s the same instance of not going in over a year. Save your money don’t sign up here.

Solid gym for both individuals and family. The childcare hours are a bit weird. However, it is still manageable with my busy schedule. The equipment is nice, they're pretty good about fixing stuff, the staff are great and friendly. The gym gets cleaned daily and probably multiple times a day. The price is also affordable.

Been all over the country, probably the best gym i've ever been to. Lots of gyms too, its a true powerlifting style gym that is clean and fair. The biannual fee is kinda confusing and probably should just be rolled into the membership fee but aside from that wierdness, the staff are amazing. The owners are awesome and friendly, and every machine you want is there. Some plates are really beat down but that contributes to a old style gym feel. Staff are always cleaning or helping someone and being 24/7 is kinda neat

Will never get a membership here again. We had fraud on our card that our fees were going to. I tried various times to stop by with no front desk there, called and left a message, and emailed, nobody returned any calls or email. I finally, after several attempts, went again and got it canceled. I was charged the month they tried to charge when we had fraud, and then another month because I missed it by one day, plus the yearly maintenance fee. I had to pay a hundred and thirty some dollars to get it canceled. It’s ridiculous that you can’t get a hold of anyone. Poor business etiquette.

I just walked in and found my lock cut. 4u$t1n had told me that if I came in every day, I could leave a lock on.

Unfortunately, 4u$ neglected to tell me that if 4u$ not here, but I am, that day doesn’t count. In other words, 4u$ threw out “if I don’t see you every day…” as a defense. Of course, this holds no weight as 4u$ doesn’t come in every day. 4u$ should have been more clear.

I had been moving the lock or removing it and taking my items home. But I had been told that I could just use a specific locker. So I did. I stopped moving it and I did in fact use it to keep items in. Technically, this would be against the rules…but we all no what happens when that word’s used against us…backlash.

Ky-!3! threw away the items in my locker. This includes clippers, pre workout powders, and keys for locks I no longer have access to. In fact for all I know Ky-!3! may very well still have the keys!!!

Some of the items were in lost and found, most of them were tossed away. And I just don’t understand why items would be thrown away. It’s a flagrant disregard for the overall well being of their members and as a result, I cannot recommend this gym to anyone in any circumstance.

The only thing going for this gym would be the ability to utilize the it late at night on the weekends. But really who’s working out at those times?! No one.

I’ve spoken with more than a few members that have decided to walk. I would highly encourage anyone at this gym to walk.

When I found out they were increasing the fee, I planned on quitting. Of course I didn’t give them notice so now they’re gonna want more money.

It’s just disrespectful to throw items away. It reveals the heart of the man. In this case it would be black.

Was charged 300 for three months of unpaid membership fees, it was my fault card expired and I didn’t realize it. When I asked why they didn’t call they said we have been and you’ve been answering. I asked what number they were calling and they gave me a number that wasn’t mine nor had ever been mine. They said well that makes sense the person kept saying that it was the wrong number. Ok whatever I’ll pay it so it doesn’t go to collections. Pay it off in full. 3 weeks later start getting calls from collections saying I still owe the money. Call the gym back, they were confused and lost as always, stuttering and no clue “well Ummmm maybe they will credit you the money back”. This place is a freaking joke!

My visit was great last night.. I prefer to go after work.. there's only a few of us in there.. which I like that very much.. Absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a gym, or any business in this town. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 2 months now after moving and I am still being charged each month.

I have communicated with several different employees who have assured me that it will be “taken care of” and it’s “someone else’s fault, but she got fired.” No responsibility has been taken, and nothing has been done to right this wrong.

I have been a member of this gym for several years (my dad BUILT IT) and I have been patient and understanding through each and every new owner/management. And there have been MANY. But I can assure you, One More Gym has lost my business for good.

As a Marketing student in the Kelley School of Business, I’ll give you a free business tip. You run a gym in Kokomo, IN (they come a dime a dozen). Your customers are your most important stakeholders. When your customers are not happy, they will go somewhere else. No customers = no money = no gym. PLEASE consider rethinking your business model.

Worst gym in town. I use to go there for the classes but when it changed owners the classes were changed. It was like they didnt care about the people who took classes. They were all about the weight lifters . Started charging us more for all the classes. If there wasnt at least five people attending they cancelled. Owners need real work on not being paranoid .You'd think that they would know to not harass employees or members, but obviously not. Ive personally received phone calls from them after 9pm with them cursing at me telling me i stole from them (so far gallons of floor cleaner, a shirt, cbd oil) although I wasnt even there when those things could have happened. It really sucks, because the gym looks really nice, but im tired of the phone calls and constantly being monitored on the cameras. One More Gym is the gym that replaced Club Fitness 24. The important part of that statement is where the word gym replaced club fitness, because this place now displays an actual strength, cardio, and positive lifestyle facility. This might upset some of you, especially since there are no pizza or doughnut parties here, but you will be able to find a ton of helpful, experienced, and positive people.

Before I go any further into this gym, I would like to point out that almost all of the 1 star reviews posted before 10/18/2017 are either fake accounts or friends of one of the old fitness class instructors that was relieved of her duties. If you would like to read a real review, continue reading.

Now, with that being on the table, lets move on to the actual gym aspect of this review. Before the take over from the new owners, machines were often broken, benches were falling apart, treadmills would often get unplugged rather than fixed, and the facility was dirty. Then, the new owners, Brian and Haley, bought the gym. They immediately began cleaning the gym up by repairing broken machines, cables, and weights. They also started replacing all of the upholstery on benches, seats, and roll bars. The walls and fixtures have since been repainted, the floors carpeted, the floor layout changed a few times to allow better workout flows, and the gym is getting cleaned constantly. There has been a complete 180 degree change from when this gym was originally acquired and that doesn't even include access to protein shakes, pre-workout, aminos, and other health items that the gym didn't offer before. The owners have been actively putting money into the gym via equipment by recently adding new dead-lift stations and bars, new bench bars, new mirrors, and soon there will be new treadmills/powermills and bench presses. The gym also managed to revamp the class schedule, begin cycling classes, and still offers personal training.

Finally, the owners. Brian and Haley took over the gym, changed the name, and put a lot of time and effort into what it is now. I know Brian and Haley fairly well and from the moment they began thinking about buying the gym, they wanted nothing more than to provide a high quality gym for those around. Both individuals are genuinely honest, hardworking, and dedicated people both inside and outside of the gym.

If you are interested in getting a gym membership somewhere in town, this is the place to go. There is a ton of equipment including benches, cardio(treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, ropes, etc), barbells, dumbbells, class equipment, functional style equipment(rings, jungle gym style rack, etc), and some unique pieces of equipment. Essentially, if you are looking for something, this place probably has it. Simply put, all walks of fitness can use this facility without issue. This gym is also home to a lot of athletes who compete in physique, bodybuilding, strongman, and power-lifting.
