I went to the MOVE camp here through the summers of 2023-2025, and I had the best summers of my life at this place. The counselors have always been nice. We would go to places like the mall, courthouse, Tincaps, north side pool, and Chain o’ Lakes. We sometimes had to do hard volunteering work, but we were always rewarded with a fun trip. The only rule that most struggle to follow was no phones during camp hours, but sometimes we had a few breaks, and I played Dress to Impress with my friends.

This is one of my favorite Y’s. They have a nice workout area with machines or free weights. There’s also an indoor walking track. The pool are is my fave. The pool is nice, the hot tub is great and the steam room and sauna hit the spot. They also have an outdoor splash pad. They offer so many programs from kids to seniors. Everyone is nice and helpful and so are the other members.

I love the Parkview YMCA! They have the best employees. The facility is ALWAYS clean. All the employees are kind and keep themselves busy, you never see them being lazy and not doing their job. I love that there is zero intimidation and the crowd of people, young and old are always kind, zero judgements. It’s an atmosphere that is unmatched. Any other gyms I have tried, everything is broken. You can’t find an employee to help anywhere. The bathrooms are gross and I have always felt judged by random strangers. You never have that here.

I am able to go to ANY of the locations in Fort Wayne. We have a large family of 12 and with our family pass, I am able to take all our children for a day of YMCA fun. Swimming🏊🏾, Hot tub/Whirl pool, Steam 🧖‍♀️ Room, Sauna, Rock 🧗‍♂️ Climbing, outside water park (water slides, small childrens aquatic area), onsite 🧑‍🍼 daycare, aqua 💦 aerobics 🤸🏻‍♂️ classes, tons of work out 🏋🏾‍♀️ equipment, ⛹️basketball courts, Racket Ball Courts, indoor 🏃🏼tracks, outdoor 🛝parks/playgrounds, free 🩺 health screening clinics for Diabetes, Blood Pressure, you name it! Plus we frequently go to Indianapolis & have utilized our membership there as well! This is money well spent and we are able to utilize every YMCA 💪🏾🫶🏿🤩 Never a boring moment, always excitement when deciding which YMCA to go to!

Also this is nicest YMCA building in Fort Wayne in my opinion.
A small example of good service was how they encouraged one of my friends with disabilities on the rock wall the higher he got up there. It was a very heart warming moment.
Regardless of how you cut it, I would say if you need a gym, a nonprofit like the Y is a better way to spend your money than a for profit.

I love this gym! This gym is by far my favorite. Weight room feels spacious, and they have various machines. The machines look up to date, and new. I love the sauna at this location specifically, because of the space and because of the heat. I also noticed staff keep the locker room clean which is soooo appreciated, it makes me feel comfortable! Staff are friendly! The trail outside the gym is soooo nice for running or walking. I genuinely can’t think of one thing that I don’t like, maybe just maybe it would be cool if music was playing in the weight room like it plays in the pool area but I wear my headphones so it honestly doesn’t matter.

The ymca has gone severely downhill in the last few years. Children of all ages used to love this location, and now they avoid it. Who thought it was a good idea to get rid of an arcade game that was for dancing, pool table, foosball, and air hockey with a couch and charging station for electronics. They replaced with a book shelf and slide? They already have child care and things to do there. They also took out a children's gymnasium set that was always used and again loved by children and replaced with tables. It seems very dangerous for children at times, and this place is never supervised. The pool area has a slide that's never in use, and lifeguards are rude and yell at children for everything. This Y also closes early, although they've promised to change it, but that's never happened. You can also YouTube fights at this location we've been told. The Parkview YMCA needs a make over and new staff for destroying such a beloved location.

One life guard there is very unprofessional after I was in the steam room I went into the pool and this life guard kicked me out with out even telling me what I did wrong he was saying I'm going to call the cops and only after 2 weeks I went back and the manager witch was very nice confronted me and told me what happened it was because I had my pants on to this day I'm never going back very rude life guard ruined the whole experience for if I could I would give this place minus stars staff is very red here

Great place for your school age child. Lot's of fun activities for kids and they get to also have some independence at times on days they don't have school they also get to go swimming. I have a place that I go and feel very welcome. It’s a joy to walk into the YMCA and engage my mind and body in a healthy environment. If I feel like weightlifting it is available . If I feel like taking an aerobic or aquatic class I can. If I want to just sit in the hot tub, steam room, or sauna its there. If I feel like reading a spiritual line, there is a place to do so. I can sign up for different activities of my liking. You are well informed about all activities taking place at the Y. I feel embraced when I walked into the Y and I am fulfilled each time I exit the door. The staffs are wonderful. They’re attentive and welcoming.

Not a welcoming environment at all! The members and the staff are rude. I mainly frequent the Jorgensen location which has one of the best cultures and environments. This location is TERRIBLE! I took a Sunday Yoga class here and a member let the door go right in my face, the staff at the front desk were unpleasant and when I walked into the class the instructor didn’t speak at all! She spoke to other members walking in though. I have taken cycling with Aleasa and she is the BEST, but that’s early morning on Saturdays! If I’m not going to her class I won’t be using this facility, and sadly I feel like this is exactly how they want it at this location. They make sure you feel like you don’t belong.

We had a terrible experience with our kids. Went to go swimming and teenage boys kept throwing balls at us and jumping on us. The lifeguards did nothing…. Then a family came whose kids were so rude and unpleasant. My kids wouldn’t get back in the water Bc of them. And again…. The lifeguards don’t do anything about it. We’ve been to the Jackson Y and the lifeguards there do such a great job and it’s always enjoyable. A family who saw how my kids were being treated so it’s always that way at this Y. So sad… truly not worth it, especially for the money you have to pay for a membership.

I go to this Y for the pool and can always find the space I need to do water exercises - just stick to the schedule. The water is a bit warmer than others (exception is the heated pool on St Joe). Unfortunately, the hot tub is almost always full. The staff are always friendly and ready to help.

Mainly go to this Y due to their Hotub.I have seen several times on their ceilings water spots which can turn into mold and are a fire code violation. I recently told a staff member that their was a needle just laying out on the counter in the men’s room. He rudely told me to go get a shirt on and tell the front desk.
