Peak Performance is the first gym I've ever joined. I'd never had any formal experience with weightlifting or had anyone to teach me proper form, so, like many people who are starting out, the thought of even joining gym was a bit... scary. Without guidance or a good plan, would I just be wasting money on a membership that I didn't know how to use effectively? Would other members welcome me? Or would they scowl or scoff impatiently while I used "their" machine incorrectly? Would I even be able to work out when I had time, or would the facility be too full or even closed?
I finally shoved those thoughts aside, called PPG, and scheduled a consultation with Dalton. I am glad I did! We talked nutrition, prior fitness experience, about both the anxiety and motivation for joining a gym, expectations, goals, and what the journey to the goals looks like... and all of that beginner angst just evaporated.
Dalton, who is now my personal trainer, is knowledgeable, personable, flexible, and above all encouraging: I leave every workout feeling better than when I arrived, both physically and mentally. The training is challenging without being exhausting and I actually look forward to each session because they're productive and fun instead of just another thing I have to slog through that day.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced, or work 2nd shift, or are on the fence, or are uncomfortable at other gyms, or feel like you're not getting your money's worth at Planet Fitness, etc. I'm telling you: give Peak Performance a call and get to work!

I’ve been a client for a few years now. I love the flexibility of being able to go work out any time, day or night! There is a great variety of cardio equipment and lots of free weight options too. Tanning beds and the sauna are definitely added perks.
Dalton is a great trainer and although I’m not where I want to be yet, I’ve come so far in my time with him and it can only continue to get better as I continue to show up!
Cade is my daughter’s trainer and she loves the things she’s learned since starting with the youth age group. It’s a great family environment that really care about their members and our community!

Was a member with the previous owner and found growth in strength and power as they focused on power lifting. Had to take a break and now back again.
The initial evaluation was thorough and considered physical, nutritional, and medical conditions and goals to determine the best trainer, training style, and schedule.
So far, the training has been tweaked and modified specifically for my goals and capabilities. I appreciate the smaller group size (single or pair) vs. double that before. I get more focused attention and training, knowing I'm paying a bit more than before for the benefit. It appears the training groups are spread out more so the gym isn't packed tight with difficult to get the weights/equipment needed for each exercise. My trainer knows what he is talking about and how to critique form, sets, and reps to push me each training day.
I'm pleased with the changes and updates and hope to improve my physical health in months to come.

My teen son and I have been with Peak Performance for a little over a year now. My son utilized their training program to learn proper form and usage of the weights, and I was very happy with the knowledge imparted and the communication between his trainers and myself. He is now very comfortable going in and training alone, as well as knowing how to properly plan out strategies for his goals. As for myself, I’ve managed to injure my Achilles tendon, and I’m happily working with Dalton (around my medical PT) to help safely support my rehab and get myself back to better than normal! I highly recommend the team at Peak!

I'm 53 years old and haven't been happy with my body and health for a couple of years now. Not that im super unhealthy, I just know I could be healthier so I decided its time I get off my lazy butt and seek help to start a fitness journey.
My friend recommended Peak Performance Gym as thats where she goes. (It's a little out of the way for me but that's OK.)
Dalton is her personal trainer. After emailing the gym Dalton got back with me pretty quickly.
I was surprised and VERY impressed that he wanted to take the time to have a 20 minute conversation over the phone (before meeting in person) about my health and fitness.
I've had a personal trainer in the past and although he was very good and I was in the best shape that I'd ever been in, he never acted interested in my health or my fitness GOALS. I liked the fact that Dalton wanted to have a "meet & greet" meeting before I made my decision.
After meeting with Dalton I signed up for 6 months of personal training twice a week with him.
I've only had 4 sessions but so far so good. I like that he gives you healthy eating tips and encourages you to drink your water!! I need that!
I'm happy. I'm starting to feel better and alot more energetic!! Keep me on my toes Dalton!! 😜

My wife and I just completed our first 4 week program. We are down a combined 30 pounds and feel stronger and more energetic than we have in years. Very pleased with our trainer, Dalton. It hasn’t been easy but has pushed us to be the best versions of ourselves.

First off I like to say I have my own home gym that I used regularly for a year before looking into a professional gym. With the indiana winters it was a pain to heat my area so I had to look elsewhere. I needed a few things to make me commit to a gym. 1 was it had to be 24/7 access. 2 it had to have a good variety of equipment and knowledgeable staff who was willing to take Time to help better my fitness journey. 3 no contract because I hate to be tied into something I don't know if I'll like yet. 4 have to be a local owed I looked at a few gyms and peak stood out instantly. I reached out and was immediately greeted by Dalton. We set up a Time to meet for me to tour the gym with my work schedule it was probably later then normal but Dalton made it happen. we talked for 30 minutes to see if they was going to be a good fit for me. As I felt it was I agreed and was set up to start using the gym immediately. After month and half went by, I kept running into Dalton with me coming or leaving the gym because I work out super early or very late. But every time he seen me he knew me by name which impressed me because with my business it's hard for me to remember everyone. But we started talking about me going to the next level of my journey and I knew they had fitness coaches as he had briefly talked about during my tour. So we set up a Time to discuss, he took about a hour to see what my goals are and what what type of training might fit my lifestyle to achieve those goals. We decided on the best plan of attack for my schedule. We set up a day out the week to meet and train. Dalton ended up being my coach and he has been so helpful with me. I still alot to learn, he has been extremely helpful with me getting my form down properly and he is always ready to get me motivated every time we meet. I can't say enough bout this gym. If your looking for a gym hopefully this review may help you decide.

I cannot recommend PPG enough. This place has a different culture than most gyms I've been to. I'm personally in a training program with Dalton, and his desire to help me grow is obvious! It started with a 1/2 an hour phone call that he used to get to know me and my health goals. He was then able to assemble a routine that fit my lifestyle and schedule. Something that has stood out to me since the beginning is he is not interested in beating me down or working me out until pure exhaustion sets in. He maximizes my workout while making sure I'm leaving my workout ready for the day. He's also very good at spotting your mechanics and helping you adjust accordingly to get the most out of every rep.
Whether you're like me and you want to get healthy, but don't know where to start or you're a seasoned lifting person looking for a great team to work out with, PPG is the place to be.

I started a 6 month process with Peak Performance and the way I feel physically on a day to day basis has improved so much in the first 5 weeks! Emily Lawrence is a great coach who has been both intuitive and smart about guiding me to meet my goals, and she gives me the education I need so I can apply on my own what I am learning. Emily also knows a lot about running and that has been extra helpful to strengthen and advance my body toward that part of my life. I recommend Peak Performance for the quality of their personal coaching!

At 45 I decided I can not improve my health on my own so I decide to start looking for a person trainer. While on my journey to get healthy and fit I visited 5 gyms in total and ultimately chose Peak Performance Gym. Dalton has been great from my initial phone call to challenging me with workouts and holding me accountable with eating healthy. Peak Performance is clean facility with the right equipment to get your goals reached. The sauna after a training session is always a pleasure.

I just turned 50 and decided it’s time to stop saying I am going to do something, so I actually did something. I started training with Dalton at the beginning of July ‘23 and I couldn’t be happier. I preferred to work out in the middle of the night (I’m a night shifter), and I loved the security of the locks and the many cameras installed to monitor people in and out.

I have loved going to Peak Performance! The 24/7 access allows me to go to the gym whenever I want. It’s always clean and the variety in equipment lets me explore more ways to work out! Also, after a hard workout, I can relax in a sauna or tanning bed. This has been the best experience with a gym I have ever had.

I really feel blessed that we have this gym and trainers in our own community. I bring my grandson out here three times a week and I tried to slow him down but he just found something that he really loves. I trust the trainers and am very impressed at the methods that they use in there training processes. I have and I will continue to recommend this facility and have seen the results of having a personal trainer .

I’ve been going to Peak Performance for almost 3 months. When I was completely disgusted with my weight and health I picked up the phone and just called. On the other end of the line was Dalton Rohr and he was amazing!He talked to me about why I was unhappy with my body, why do I think all the “other” things aren’t working. What my goals were for my body..etc. We had the best 15-20 minute “real” conversation about how I feel about my body and what I want my end result to be than I’ve ever had with anyone. I know Mikayla Atkinson and requested her to be my personal trainer. While I was on the phone he put me on hold and called her to get it set up for me immediately. It’s not been easy but worth it and Mikayla is amazing! She really knows her stuff! I have been extremely happy and would recommend this gym to everyone.

I’ve been coming to Peak Performance consistently for a little over 6 weeks now. This is the perfect gym for someone looking for a well equipped, clean, good value space to better themselves physically. They have a great selection of equipment and an excellent staff of knowledgable trainers.
Whether you’re just looking for a place to workout or want to take advantage of their personal training services, I *highly* recommend Peak Performance! I’ll echo what other recent reviews have stated: Dalton is awesome – his professionalism and hospitality are one of the reasons I enjoy coming to workout here!
