I’ve been training with Drew for over 5 years now, and I truly can’t imagine my fitness journey without him. When I first started, I just wanted to feel stronger and more confident — and I gained both, plus so much more.
I trained with Drew through my first pregnancy and now during my second! I can’t express how supported and capable I feel every step of the way. I had an incredible birthing experience and an even smoother recovery, and I know a huge part of that came from staying strong, mobile, and consistent in my training. Drew knows how to challenge you safely while always meeting you exactly where you are.
Beyond the physical results, I’ve gained real confidence and a community I look forward to being part of every week. The friendships I’ve made through training have been such a gift.
I truly can’t say enough good things about Drew — his knowledge, his encouragement, his ability to push you in the best way, and his genuine care for your long-term well-being. I’m grateful for the last 5 years and extremely excited for the next 5! 💪✨

I've been seeing Drew for a little over a year now and it's been great. He's super knowledgeable and always available to answer my questions when I'm working out on my own. I feel comfortable talking to him about my goals no matter what they are and he's always very supportive. Even when I'm not in the best head space that day, I always leave his place in a much better mood. I absolutely recommend Drew for whatever your fitness/health goals are!

If you're looking for a small private gym experience in the Lawrence area, Drew is your guy! I love that it's located on a private residence close to my son's school in Lawrence Township. Feels very safe and is in nature. This is not your typical bro gym environment, bodies of all shapes and sizes with different goals are seen at PDF. Drew is super motivating, super kind, and super funny. He's really helped me understand my strengths and pushing me to my limits. If you need a sign to see a trainer - here you go!

Over the last almost two years, Drew has been not only an exceptional coach, but he has also become a very dear friend. Every time you walk into his gym, you'll be greeted with a hug and encouraged through a challenging and rewarding workout. His positive energy is infectious, and he truly wants nothing more than to help you become better than you were the day before. Drew has been my #1 coach, support system and friend for the last 18 months and still going strong and consistent 2ce a week. My neighbor and I were referred to Drew for weight training. I, personally, was looking for something that would cross train well with my Pilates practice and give me the strength and confidence I needed for my well physical and mental well being.
I have a professional background in Pilates movement education. It is so refreshing to be on the other side as a student/client and to be told what to do from someone that I can 100% trust, like Drew. Oh, did I mention how well he puts up with my mood swings! Very impressive!
I didn't exactly have specific goals in mind when I first started. I just wanted to do something for myself, to be held accountable and to get my rear end back in shape... literally. Drew's goal minded personality was patient with me and gave me the right push I needed to start a new journey just recently with my nutrition and macro counting. That has been an eye opening game changer with my weight training.
Drew's ability to coach, train and educate beyond his powerlifting and sport performance specialty is admirable. I see him successfully work with all walks of life with different mental and physical fitness goals and even rehab situations.

I started training roughly 8 years ago, at the age of 55. I had never participated in sports or been an athletic person, and Drew encouraged me every step of the way. I like how lifting makes me feel strong and confident and that I am in charge of my progress and achievements. Now, at the age of 63, I am a 2X National Champion and was recently invited to compete at the Arnold Strongman Competition.

I have been going to PDF for about 6 years now, and it’s been the best investment I could have ever made. Initially started because I had a desk job and simply wanted to start working out consistently, but working with Drew has taught me that exercise is a PRIVILEGE not a HASSLE! I’ve now competed in two weightlifting competitions and have discovered a new found confidence in myself that I never thought possible. I’ve made friends who push me to be better in the community Drew has established and look forward to hitting the gym. Now 6 months pregnant I’m still hitting the gym 5x/week, and Drew has adjusted my workouts accordingly to still get the most out of a session. If you’re considering trying it out I say GO FOR IT! I’ve been working with Drew for over 18 months. He has worked with me on my bad knees, limited mobility in a shoulder from a previous surgery, a broken arm and recovery from Covid. I tell him that I am his broken case, always bringing a challenge for adaptation in my workout. He is thoughtful in his approach to whatever my issues are. Love seeing him every week and if I miss a day, my body truly feels it. Can’t imagine strength training with anyone else.

I started going to Drew 3 years ago. My initial goal was to lose weight and stay dedicated to actually going to the gym. I had tried working out on my own and I never stuck to it. I picked Drew out of a random google search because I didn't want to focus just on cardio. 3 years later, I am both mentally and physically stronger than I thought possible. I have gained a new family that is beyond supportive, fallen in love with the sport of powerlifting, at the lowest weight I have been since high school, and am constantly reaching new goals that surprise myself. If you are on the fence of trying this out, I would highly recommend at least trying it once.

I've been going to PDF and training with Drew for about 7 months. My experience has been nothing short of awesome. In high school, I was an athlete and in college I continued being fairly active. After I graduated, my working out/activity level slowly decreased over time. I met Drew when I realized I needed to make a change. My husband actually met Drew first and encouraged me to go meet him too, and said we could support each other in trying to change our lifestyles. Drew is one of the most supportive, encouraging, positive people I've ever met. He's so easy to work with and he won't make you do anything you can't do. I've had some negative personal trainer/traditional gym experiences before, but when I talked to Drew I felt really at ease. It's nice to be able to be in an atmosphere that promotes you feeling good, not just focusing on losing weight quickly. Drew also helps with nutrition. We just had a 6-week challenge and I lost nearly 14 pounds! I feel the best I've ever felt and I feel strong. Drew has helped me focus on how I feel instead of weight loss, which has changed my whole perspective on working out. I can't thank PDF/Drew enough for everything. If you're thinking about making a change and you're willing to work hard, PDF is a great place to start!!

Drew does a great job of focusing on his clients' goals and creating innovative, fun programming to help them reach these goals. He has created a very inclusive community for everyone involved.
