Again, the employees do not know how to talk to people. I sent a pass to a friend so we can workout together. She beats me there by ten minutes. The employee was rude and hateful, sending her away. She was told to go to another gym. Clearly the manager at this location does not care about the job or the people. I enjoy the other locations, use many of them, 10th street location is easily the worst gym.

I was going to leave a good review THEN I had to take a shower...I really wish I didn't, but I definitely made it quick... There is no way the staff didn't see the showerheads. The water streams out everywhere, so you'd have to notice.
The showerheads were 🤢, I mean.. They make CLR, grim/calcium removal. Let's do better PF

But.... The staff was nice and machines were well maintained.

Bathrooms and showers are always nasty you can tell that they don’t clean them regularly the stalls and the walls in the bathroom have blood on them that’s been there for months the shower curtains have gunked up dirt and grim it’s sickening and sad because we pay our hard earned money faithfully plus a yearly fee we deserve a clean gym

PS when did they start allowing kids in the gym there’s literally kids everywhere

Small gym, lots of under 18 kids, lots of 'guests' who don't check in. Over crowded and forced to wait 20+ minutes while teens play on their phone for free wifi rather than work out on machines. I would not have wasted my money had I known the number of children who attended this gym. Workout should be less than an hour takes me almost 2 just due to wait. Not impressed. Old machines

my car broke down and I decided to come for a workout while I was waiting for my tire to be fixed. The girl at the front desk said the men’s locker room is closed because they are renovating the gym. Said that the women’s locker room is not available to change it, but I can go to the Porta potty outside. I said “if your manager made this decision that was a bad decision. She replied “you can be mad at your own gender, because men are the one in charge of this project.“ That is poor customer service employmee. then she said that she was called sexist and I can see why. This gym is not clean and should close until they get better a staff together, and if that employee at the front desk, tired of being called sexist then she should stop making remarks about blaming men for the problems this establishment has.

Only come here to take a break from working in the sun and charge my working devices in the black card area. I was on the massage chair resting my eyes and the same lady who signed me in asked me if I was a member. When I asked for a remote she said they did it have any so the tv is for decoration in this location. Terrible relaxation zone. No couch or tv or tables to work from.

I want to thank the two female staff members who work mornings at the tenth street location. They always greet me with great smiles and I feel so welcomed. While an ok PF, it is extremely disappointing to find no hot showers on either of myvtwo visits, two weeks apart. I informed the staff of the lack of hot showers two weeks ago and the problem still exists. I'm very happy this is Not my home club. I'll drive elsewhere when visiting this area.
UPDATE:
I just called the number offered by the response, but it was an automated answering machine that was never answered by a human. The machine just looped back to the beginning. I purposely did not post a review two weeks ago and merely advised the staff that there was no hot water. As that did not produce the desired result, I have left this review.

since the new manager Yvonne has taken over you can see the good change the bottom line is you can make every happy i am member martha freije this shows up under robert diaz but he is not the member since i joined i have seen at least 3-4 managers and yvonne by far as been doing the best job on top of everything i know people complain about the size but i think thats what alot of people like about ; i do miss mackenzie she was great with the guest she knew almost every one by name and i fell Yvonne is on track of doing that also its the first of the year so almost all gyms will be packed give it a month or two and it will be back to normal and for 10.00 a month its a good deal the membership fees great compared to some gym yvonne is a very good manage and pays attention to he patrons needs assist as best can

No one at front counter for over an hour. All staff cleaning showers in male locker room. Got the entire locker room smells so strong with chemicals a few people walked out with watery eyes. Cleaning showers at 10:00 am instead of off peak hours. Allowing link heads to drop weights and grunt way to loud . Worst PF I have been to yet. This is number 97/100 this year and I will not be coming back.

The “Regional” manager, Dija, DISCRIMINATES towards disabled individuals.

We have been members for 6 years and overall we have been happy with this gym. Recently this new employee has specifically singled out my disabled brother to harass him for personal information which has previously been provided, multiple times. Information which has been stored in the gyms guest register, under my black card membership information, since prior to the pandemic. She is aggressive, unrelenting and escalated each interaction we have had. It is pathetic when an adult has to make herself feel better by denying someone with limited abilities one of the few things he dearly loves. He eagerly has looked forward to working out for years, until recently, when Dija became a regular employee at the Chapel Hill location. Tonight she threatened to sue me when I pointed out her continued antagonistic behavior towards us each time she has seen us. She REFUSED to let him work out and insisted that HE leave. He is an 18 years old with profound Autism. She is heartless hateful and discriminatory. She has ruined this experience for him and we will be taking steps to discuss this further with an attorney.

Dingy and smelly, and no free weights. If you sign up, you’ll be charged extra fees a month later, and when you cancel they’ll still charge another month. Their contract is predatory- can’t urge you to stay away enough.

Edit: Corporate said to go in and they’d handle it, the owner responded below saying go in and they’d handle it- we went in and were told the manager wasn’t in, come in the next day. We went in the next day, they told us to screw ourselves.

Love this gym. I don't need a lot of fancy amenities, just somewhere to work out and keep my body healthy. The staff is all very polite, thoughtful, and helpful. It's clean, most of the members are considerate and clean off their equipment, and having a personal trainer included with a $10 a month membership is an unbelievable value. Glad I joined this gym.

Good place to gym it. Never saw employees cleaning equipment. Rather, the guests are to clean it after each use. This doesn't exactly bother me but you could tell some equipment needed a more thorough clean. I had to cancel my membership and when I went in and did, an employee had told me she was uncomfortable with the new assistant manager/aspiring manager because he kept making unwanted advances towards her. Another employee confirmed this as well. Doesn't exactly make me comfortable to return.

Company is a sham. I never used for 3 yrs. Paying $20 a month. They would not let me cancel over the phone even after expressing I have no car or $$$ to buy Ubers jus to cancel. Then they tell me missed payments were never collected for 3 years. They jus hold off to the side accumulating so they can tell you in store that you can’t cancel with a balance. Now I’m in a catch 22 situation because when tf do they stop taking $$$ maybe to allow a person to pay off their random balance. They keep claiming these rules are in the contract which I’ve read 60x and I promise you guys it is not there or the way it’s worded apparently is only for the company to understand. Not the consumer. They now want more than 15x what I pay per month just to exit or they’ll just keep taking more $$$ from my poor self.

5 employees doing nothing in the front of the building..2 empty paper towel dispensers back by the machines. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! You want us to wipe down the machines after use...WITH WHAT? 0 STARS. Sometimes the air and fans aren't on. Working out when the ac is set so high it won't come on and there is no draft can be a miserable experience. There is often old dirty paper towels littered on the floor, on top of machines, and in cup holders. The social distancing signs and placeholders are often moved and taken down. It's not uncommon for 2,3,4 machines in a row to have no social distancing sign.
