Before I moved to Indianapolis, I use to stop here all the time and workout as an OTR Truck driver. I loved the convenience of parking my truck next to the gym and getting a great workout. It’s rare to find Planet Fitnesses who have parking for truckers like this. It’s always clean, friendly, and attentive to the gym and customers needs.

Typical fitness center, a good variety and number of equipment. Rarely do you have to wait for equipment. Pruor to going be aware it is a younger crowd and they will sit on machines and socialize or abuse weights. If you want to do a routine you will need to go a few times and find the time that works best for you

I like this planet fitness. Have been going here for nearly 2 years. I come in overnight around 4x a week and the place is clean and the staff is good. Except for the one recurring instance that irks me beyond belief. I know that they clean on certain times, which is fine and when I come in, is usually when they start cleaning the woman’s restroom. I understand this, but I go in to workout quickly hop in the shower and go to work. Everytime I shower. The same girl is repeatedly flushing the toilets while I’m showering. Which makes the showers freezing and barely work. Then, when I get out she goes to the dressing rooms, which I need after the shower, so I have to go to the stalls which she just cleaned and I’m at the sinks, then she starts wiping the sinks when she doesn’t even finish the second dressing room. Then while I’m standing there she looks annoyed that she has to go back and reclean the stall. Then she follows me to the locker room area. Every week this happens and it’s on my nerves. I’m paying for the amenities this location offers I would like to get a little bit of consideration for my space and not feeling like I’m being watched. I understand cleaning and cleaning at a certain time, but perhaps have common sense to avoid where another person is standing or taking up space and acting annoyed like I did something. Besides that. It’s a good gym.

Was happy when I got to my tanning bed to see that it was a new one!! (I really only have my membership for the perks of the tanning)!! But I will say that I wish this location has the same digital equipment as the Kentucky Ave's 30 min workout station does. It displays what area your working on and how to stretch before hand, also it counts your reps.

I signed my 13 year old up for a membership after speaking survey Nina the so called mgr she said yeah she is good to go as well as tanning but only spray tan as she is too young for the actual beds (completely agree) she gets her spray tan and works out with us. Two wks later we come in to just spray tan and Nina says sorry she isn’t old enough to have a membership or tan. Uhm excuse me you said last time she was and per the contract we signed it says memberships are allowed at 13 if permission is given by a parent or guardian which we signed. I showed her and she refuses to look at it and said her boss Tyler the DM said no one under 15 and I asked for his number she refused then called him and still refused to put him on speaker to say these things I said who is your GM? She said no one in the manager and Tyler said for me to handle this. You my friend are a liar and a contract is a contract which you are breaking which is writing. Corporate will be hearing from me and I will be coming for your job bc you had us sitting there arguing over a LEGAL contract that you are breaking.

I must say, I wouldn't currently be a member of Planet Fitness on Hardegan Street if it wasn't for the staff! I work out six days a week and I believe that where one decides to work out it is best if it is in a friendly atmosphere. That is exactly what this location provides. Just to name a few John Kyra and Tyler are always going above and beyond to make people feel comfortable in the gym. Highly recommend!

I was just passing through, but even in a short time, I could appreciate the high level of service and the friendly atmosphere. The staff here is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help.

I especially want to highlight Brady and Mindy . Their politeness, courtesy, and professionalism are truly impressive! They immediately make you feel comfortable, greet you with a smile, and do everything to ensure a great experience.

They talk about providing a "stellar customer experience," yet they remain quiet about Derek's death. The negligence of not checking - let alone cleaning - their equipment in between use shows they do not care about their customers.

This is a lack hygiene and can cause customers to potentially share and contract illnesses (especially when using equipment like a tanning bed). This also shows negligence, as a dead body rotted in the building for three days and not once did an employee check the area.

If an employee checked the area (to do their daily cleaning duties), this would have been noticed. Employees also are negligent by not checking the tanning logs and/or showing police security footage or access to the entire area.

This PF and its staff do not care about you. Youre just money to them.

The club requires 7 day notice to prevent future charges. They claim it is “pending”. Anyone who has worked accounts knows that a pending charge can be cancelled, or a refund can be issued. PF refuses to do either. It is a crappy move.

On top of this, I do not feel safe at this club. I will never use my membership during the final month that they force me to pay. They didn’t notice a DB for 3 days, which shows they do not adequately clean their club.

Do the right thing and refund my account. I don’t appreciate paying for services I will not use.

I do not understand why this place is so dark! It’s depressing to workout in a dark environment! It provides little motivation to work out in a dark environment. Couldn’t the black ceiling be painted a bright white? How about the lights? They are so dim! I’ve been to PF all over the US, and this continues to be a depressing place. One other note, the water filter needs to be replaced regularly, please! It taste terrible and you can tell the places that keep their filter replaced, but it isn’t here.

The gym itself is in good shape but they need to move some equipment around. Why would the cardio equipment be in the back so you can see the TV? I called and spoke to Martin who laughed at me, hung up on me, told me ‘ain’t no customer ever right’, and told me his manager would contact me at 09. I canceled my account and they are still taking money from me! The bank called and said someone at abc planet fitness is trying to run my debit card but they keep getting the pin wrong! When you call there billing service you can clearly tell there’s some kind of fraud going on, I heard kids yelling in the background 🤔 but this is a business hmmm!
