Once again we showed up for our morning workout and the gym was still closed, even though it was supposed to be open. This has happened multiple times in the last 90 days, which is really disappointing. At this point I do not feel I can rely on this gym.

There’s really nothing special as far as equipment that sets this place apart from any other Planet Fitness, but I’m giving this place 2 stars because the employees here are ALWAYS rushing people out BEFORE closing time, and it’s extremely annoying.

If the place closes at 7:00, they start nagging at 6:45 cause they want you gone by 6:55 so they can, I guess, get home 5 minutes faster than they would if they had just let people stay until the closing time listed. And yeah, I get that it’s only five minutes, but that’s exactly my point.

I get that we all would rather be somewhere that’s not work, but if you HAVE to ABSOLUTELY be home by 7:05 or 7:10 or whatever and you CANNOT arrive 5 minutes later than that time ever, then maybe you shouldn’t be taking the shifts that end at 7:00. I know they have closing duties, but I’ve also had closing duties when I worked at various restaurants over the years, and we NEVER started kicking customers out early just so we could get done with them faster. That’s just poor etiquette.

This has been one of the worst experiences! I’ve had this gym for years and years. Recently within the last 2 years it has been a mess and I won’t even get into the details about that. So I cancelled my membership in July. During that time I was told the payment for July would still come out because I cancelled after the 10th. Okay cool. August I had a payment of 24.99 come out PLUS a return fee of 15.00. Mind you I have money in my account however they aren’t supposed to take money out past July. I tried calling the office where I was hung up on. I finally got in touch with someone and they advised I needed to google abc billing and called them. I called abc billing and they said I needed to contact planet fitness. I called planet fitness about 24 times and no answer. So I used my littles sisters phone and the picked right up. I was told a manager would call me. 3 weeks went by and nothing. So I went up to the facility. Where I was told the manager was busy but to send my bank statement to an email because nothing should come out my account. But after I send the statements a refund should be processed. That was last month. I have been email and calling then TODAY ANOTHER 2 payments of 24.99 AND A RETURN FEE OF 15 is being deducted again!!! Still no refund from the last one. I’ve changed cards already. Tried calling planet fitness all morning. No answer. I’m convinced they don’t do any good work around there. The guy that was really good left and went to college. I’m really happy he got out of there. Now I’m 80 dollars in the hole and no one is replaying. Responding. nothing

This guy always does this. Walks into the gym and puts his bag or whatever it is next to the bench and then a pair of dumbbells on the bench. He does this to “claim” this bench as his. He then walks off to somewhere else in the gym and is gone for about 20-30 minutes. Then he comes back to “his” bench and sits on it. Doesn’t start working out or anything. Just sits on it for about 10 minutes and buries his face in his phone. Then eventually he does an exercise and when he’s done again it’s back to the cell phone for another 10 minutes of doing nothing. Wash, rinse, repeat. Ties up the bench, a pair of dumbbells and even a barbell for 40 plus minutes and really doesn’t do any exercising. Just uses the bench as a lounge area. Stay home or learn gym etiquette.

I travel for work and I am privileged enough to see quite a few Planet Fitness branches across the country but this one is probably the worst Planet Fitness I have been to yet. There is never anybody around to help you at the front desk. What point is the Black Card membership if you are unable to access any of the amenities available to you. Now and again you will see a trainer but the trainers especially the woman here in the mornings is apparently too good to help you or even get someone to help you. I find the lack of customer service completely unacceptable. It’s not even a 24 hour gym so there should be no excuse for this.

The last few months of this being in my home gym…. Wild. I wanted to update this review because it actually has improved from the nightmare of spring where They were allowing homeless people to live in their bathrooms. A BB gun was pulled on me in the parking lot by a former employee living in their car in the lot, There was drug use happening in the bathrooms.multiple times there was a “cocain bag” empty on the floor… There was nasty notes on the walls from employees trying to control the women’s bathroom, which is understandable because we’re adults, ladies and Seriously, people were smoking cigarettes in the stalls last month…. Girls were leaving pads and feminine trash on the ground… I brought this to corporate‘s attention and I will say no one contacted me back Like I requested because I was at the end of my rope about not being able to come in and just take a shower in peace and leave…. But In the last few weeks, I can tell the manager is working very hard to pick up the slack, The bathrooms aren’t disgusting…. There’s been less people living in the bathrooms with all of their trash all over the floor… Things I don’t think I should ever have to put into a review because we are adults and you should clean up after yourselves because the people that work at planet fitness don’t get paid enough to be your mother and clean up your feminine trash, hair dollar tree trash food etc. I don’t know what changed to this location, but after my third complaint, things actually got better and I wanted to say that. I wanted to make a note that The manager was working late last night…. It’s obvious They care about improving this location, so let’s care about leaving less of a mess for them so the cleanliness and peace continues for all

I walked into a gym where no one greeted me and in order to use the massage chairs I had to be given tokens 🪙 and the chair are so out dated that they aren't even 0 gravity and I left out in more pain than I went into the little massage room with.

Waited 15+ minutes for someone to help me to be able to use the hydro massage beds and no employee was around to help. Is it normal to leave the gym unattended at 11pm?

Otherwise mornings are fine, but sucks that I can’t use my Black Card perks 24/5 as they claim.

THIS IS NOT A SAFE SPACE FOR WOMEN. I had a male employee walk in on me naked and alone in the locker room with no warning. TWICE. The supply closet being in the women’s locker room is so crazy and all of the employees that I’ve spoken to about it were basically like “yeah unfortunately no one listens to what I have to say about it”. Do better, planet fitness. I know of two other women who have experienced the same thing.

In terms of layouts of machines and workout equipment definitely one of the best planet fitnesses I've been in. It's a shame now that the shower situation is so bad. No curtains but they have the fogged glass door with magnetic latches. Excuse me supposed to be magnetic and actually just opens at the slightest bump which is very disconcerning for anyone who wants privacy

I’ve been a member on and off for this location for years. I walk in today and Crystal who says she’s the assistant manager, YELLS and YOU need to scan in. I advise her I just scanned in and she can check her records. She sees my name. Assumes I’m not that person. Once she determined I’m that person. She proceeded to bring up a payment issue that I brought to the managers attention on my previous visit. On my previous visit both myself and the staff matched our records to show June payment went through, like the others before and after it. They gave me a billing number to ABC billing and I’m pending dispute.

The manager she called. Kyrie? And herself offered no resolution. Just wait till Monday and Crystal was extremely rude. I’ll be canceling my membership and finding a new gym AFTER my dispute is cleared. This is no way to conduct business

Here we are six months later no resolve. They won’t allow me in the gym. They won’t tell you when the manager will be there. And it’s been six months since I stepped in and no one can help me. They take their money every month. Took their yearly fee today. A gym I cannot use?! I’ve sent this to the local news. Idk what else to do.

I want to start off by saying- i do love this gym and the young man who works the front is very sweet. But my concern is i use the gym to work out, but also use the tanning beds. Last week i had came in, used the laying tanning bed, and left. A few days later i had ring worm on my scalp. I’m not sure what the protocol is for cleaning. And it’s also my fault for thinking that people using the bed prior to me actually clean it after use like i do. But regardless of that as frequently as they are used i think itd be best for every one who does use to clean the heck out of it prior. Whether it’s the lay down or stand up tanning beds. Can always find open machines, or not very long wait. Stays fairly clean. Decent staff. Handicap stall and shower. 2 mens showers are missing the magnetic latch to keep the door sealed. One of the stand up tanning beds could use refurbished. Overall good gym to get a workout in. I always end up spending 2 to 3 hours to get my shower and massage in.

Staff is either very nice or mildly indifferent, never met a rude staff member. Same for other gym goers - most everyone minding their own business. Some folks not putting things away or staff not resetting over night but generally minor. I go during early hours, so very few problems with equipment availability. Location is generally pretty clean. Occasionally a broken soap dispenser or the floors need swept but not bad. It's been on a clean & well-stocked cycle for last year+.

UPDATE: It has been several days since I posted this. The General Manager has personally emailed me telling me he would send receipts. He has not sent them even though I have called and emailed several times this week. I cannot access our PF accounts online or the app so the response PF provided is BS.

REVIEW: I have been trying to reach the General Manager Kiyre Crawford now for over one month. My work reimburses me at the end of each year for gym memberships. In previous years, PF will email a copy of an invoice history for both me and my wife. I have emailed the general manager several times and I have called the location 7-8 times. Several times they have taken my name and phone number to give to the general manager but I have never received a call. The employees claim ownership has changed and they have no way to access payment history or send emails. What business cannot provide proof of payment history or send emails? This one. Poor business ethics. No customer service. If you call corporate their response is that each location is franchised and their is nothing they can do.

PF Keystone - Send me a copy of 2024 payment history for me and my wife and I will consider taking this review down.

While the facility is well maintained and managed, I only retain my membership for the treadmills, and only really use these during the winter months when the weather is poor. And I have to say, the Matrix treadmills ant this location are horrendous. I thought my aches and pains were due to overuse, but after using the Life Fitness treadmills at another PF in Fort Wayne over Christmas, I can now confirm that the pain and over-fatigue I feel when I run here is due to the cheap shoddy equipment at this location. After a week on Life Fitness treadmills with great paces, I returned today to this facility, and immediately my back started to ache, and I could not bring myself to run my standard pace. It feels like I’m running in sand, and I am not the only runner who has complained. All sorts of runners online have said the exact same thing about these treadmills at different locations. I cannot stress this enough, I WOULD NOT recommend these treadmills to ANYONE looking to start running in the New Year. Go elsewhere, ANYWHERE without these machines. I’ll be seriously considering cancelling my membership for this very reason.

THIS IS A SCAM
This is not a cheaper option for a gym membership. I enrolled Oct 19 2023. I attempted to cancel Nov 30 2023. 42 days of membership.
Online policy states an $49 annual fee will be deducted 8 weeks into membership.
I am being charged for the annual fee. For 42 days of membership, I am being charged over $100. I called twice and emailed the regional director. They refuse to refund the charges. I understand why there is an annual fee. I do not believe that those that sample out the gym and cancel after less than two months should be subject to the annual fee. Read the fine print.
Additionally, of the five times I went into the gym, only two times was the front desk manned. Once I wanted to buy a drink after working out, and no one was at the front desk for 10 minutes.

If you want a gym membership, I recommend the Y. Staff are kind and understanding and helpful! If you are going to end up spending the same amount of money in the end, go to a gym that cares.

On Monday August 14th someone used bolt cutters and cut my lock off my locker. I believe 3-4 other people also had their locks cut off as well. At approximately 9:54 AM they went and spent $499.94 at the Walmart all before I had even finished my workout. I was told by the manager Kyrie that the gym would cooperate with the investigation and give the police any footage they request to view.

Flash forward to today and I just received a call from the detective telling me that this PLANET FITNESS location is refusing to provide him with the footage needed to assist in the investigation.

Not my favorite PF location to visit but it’s alright. Reasonably clean and spacious in the general workout spaces. The locker rooms do have benches in the center of room rather than along the lockers (my less preferred locker room design), but at least the benches are reasonably sized if you want to put something down on it. I haven’t used the showers at this location but they look okay from a distance. Overall there are nicer PF locations in the area, I only come here when there’s no other convenient ones for me to go to.

Multiple people were robbed at this location. The staff was aware and never alerted the gym patrons that someone had been cutting the locks and stealing the contents. The black bars on rooftop have extremely thick dust which is pretty much what we are breathing in. I have been coming to this pf location for 10 months. Over all it has been a good fit. Some of the members have etiquette issues (hogging the equipment watching utube between sets) , also I have in early only to find the place closed(it's suppose to be open 24 hours Monday Thursday Thursday). I realize that that's a staffing issue. This is my first pf experience I don't have anything to compare it to...

Decent gym for the price. They are one of the most reasonably priced gyms in my area. This particular location though the front desk staff isn't pleasant at ALL. A couple of the woman will greet you and are nice but the guys that are there early mornings will just stare at you and not speak. Please work on customer service, if it weren't for that I'd give 5 stars.

It is the middle of winter. The coat rack has 6 hangers. This forces people to stuff costs on top or on floor .$5 of hangers would go a long way
Also the rules are not enforced.

PLEASE DO NOT I REPEAT Do not go to this Joke of a Planet fitness My car was Stolen out of the Lot the first day i worked out And i have been begging and calling trying to contact a manager but they are refusing to get to me and it seems like they don’t care my car was parked directly in front of one of the cameras and they said without a warrant from a judge they cannot give me footage. so then i said “ Well hey instead of giving me footage why don’t you just look and answer weather my car was stolen or towed” And even with a POLICE OFFICER They refused to get footage of my vehicle and the Joke of a team laughs at the fact my car was stolen and says that “we’ll it’s too bad we can’t do anything to help you switch gyms” This is a Joke of a franchise i will be taking this all the way too corporate.

I don't work out in the winter time because I am asthmatic and I got a month to month membership so I called last month to end my membership and the guy said he would end it and put my money back. on my card not only did he not put my money back on my card they took it off again his month I'm so frustrated I'm done with planet fitness the manager dasiavwas rude and talking over me and told me that without. Doctor statement she wouldn't takrcthus month off either and so I asked for corporate numbetcsge told me she didn't know it and Google it I'm do done with planet fitness
