Good little gym but the shower take 15 mins to warm up and the water pressure is bad.

I mean like.. if you guys are struggling to pay the water bills, you could make all your places more truck driver friendly.. make a concrete pad big enough to park maybe 5 semi/trailers behind the building.. you'd increase your customer base by atleast a million if you'd advertise youre driver friendly.. we want showers / massages / and exercise during our time off. Charge 5 - 10$ a night for parking. We don't care.

Staff is amazing. When I first started back in the gym (this location is 3 minutes from my job), I signed up for some trainer sessions and Tori is fantastic. Every time I come in she checks on me and my progress.

As far as equipment availability, it is somewhat frustrating at times. There are a few members that bottleneck everything by grabbing multiple sets of dumbells, bench, ez bars and use multiple machines at the same time. For those of us who just want to get in, get our sets in and go out is hard sometimes.

Overall I give this location a 4 star. It is one of the smaller PFs I've been in so it does limit things.

When I tried to cancel my membership, I was informed that I should have signed a document as part of the procedure, even though no one had asked me to do so. I've ended up paying for two extra months, and when I called to address the issue, it seemed like my cancellation was never processed. I was told I would need to come in person to resolve it.

Worst gym etiquette I have ever seen. Members using benches at peak hours to set drinks and cell phones on while standing beside the bench not even using it. One recent day there were no open bench and not one person was using the bench what is is made for. It is not a holding table it is a weight bench. Staff does nothing and at least should be posted. Myself and many other long term members are considering changing to LAC. This planet fitness allows the worst gym etiquette I have ever seen and I have used many different gyms across the country. Clean up the etiquette or lose the members that do have proper respect for the equipment and other gym goers. Bet this won’t get a response as I said the worst gym etiquette ever

This is hands down the worst one I have been to. I travel around the US so I use several different Planet Fitness facilities. Never in my life have I had an employee, (Amanda s all she would tell me her name was) say that because I had been there little over 2 hours I need to leave and because I said no she calls the police!! Great facility and employees. Over past year I stop during lunch break to do light 20-minute workouts with machines so that I don't sweat into my work clothes. Too difficult with a stroke disability to change into gym clothes and us seniors should only be doing light workouts anyways. For 45 years I've been going to gyms, so I know a great gym when I see one!

I've been going to the Jeff Planet Fitness 5 days a week for about 3 years now and I love it. The staff is super friendly, and it's very clean. It's a PF best thing about those gyms are the price I did like the openness you don't feel like you're on top one another when working out but the equipment isn't that great no free squat rack you have to use two sections of the cables to do chest which is inconvenient to other people you would think they could trade in some treadmills for more equipment on the weights side but you get what you paid for

This location is a little on the smallish side, in particular the locker rooms, but nice and always clean. Not quite as much equipment as Clarksville or Bardstown Road but more than enough for most any workout needs. It's a good option to have so close to home, I'd recommend visiting this one.

I have been going to this location for 6 months. The staff is god awful rude! Literally this gym is ran by a whole bunch of kids on their phone that can't even lift their head to hand you the bar pad. Most of the time the gym equipment is broken so you are left waiting for ever for the other machine or none at all because there is only 1 of those machines.

They closed down the gym for a deep clean here recently and when I came back I put my hand in the same dust that was there the few days prior on the top of the Roman chair so unsure of what deep cleaning they did.

Tall young man with dark hair in the evenings is especially rude , claims he's a manager then does not go by the rules daily and treats people very poorly!

Go to a different location that has working equipment and nicer people!

The Grantline Rd location is closed right now due to renovations. I have gone to the Clarksville location a couple of times and do not like the flow of the equipment there. I went to this location after my daughter told me to try it because it's better than Clarksville. It was definitely better & the flow of the equipment is closer to Grantline Rd's location.

I really liked how spacious and clean the site was. I love the open windows in the front letting all the natural light in. I wish they had a cable fly machine. They had single fly machines but not a double. That's the only thing. I wish they could do different but yeah clean place.

I’ve gone to this location a few times since moving here and it’s the staff that has ruined it for me and caused me to cancel my membership and not come back. The previous location I went to regularly had a very friendly staff, like getting greeted as I came in and saying “have a nice day” as I’d walk out the door, something that takes no effort whatsoever. At this location I’ve experienced nothing but rude staff that does not pay attention or care for its members. The last person I dealt with was a tall, blondish, young guy who took minutes to acknowledge me and was too busy on his phone like I was a burden just being there and today Amanda the general manager seemed very annoyed by my presence before I even said anything about cancelling my membership. As someone who’s worked in customer service for 8 years, I would never treat a customer the way they’re treated here, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to be kind. The gym itself is nice and new at least. I don’t think I will ever return to another Planet Fitness again.

Amanda was horrible to me and to the employees. I've been going here for 1.5 years and I'm just some run of the mill guy I mind my business and do my workout but this time I overheard her being extremely rude to the employees about completely ridiculous things. We are all human and nobody deserves to be treated that way so I asked the employees if they were okay and when I walked away AMANDA started getting on the employees again. Planet fitness pays their employees bi-weekly, and I know they don't pay them enough to deal with strict managers. If you're gonna pay someone every 2 weeks you can cry about what they do after two weeks is up too instead of everyday. Rot

They say there's personal training available but all Dylan the trainer did was walk my 17 year old to the 30 min area and told him to scan equipment and handed him a 4 item list. Less than 5 minutes were spent with him from scanning in to being "complete"

I want to love this gym. They have everything possible for excellent fitness and exercise... except barbells. The smith machines they have are X-axis, AND Z-axis locked, so they only go straight up and down. None of them are facing the mirror at a 90 degree angle, always offsetting your focus, and making it difficult to equally focus the exercise on the muscles working. I know there are people who do not want to use a barbell, but there are those of us who do not want to use a smith machine. Our muscles are not being worked to the fullest extent, making only one side or the other be worked more or less. If two of the smith machines were to be replaced with barbell cages, then this gym would deserve 10 stars, but I can only wish to see this happen. 😔 Still one of the best gyms around.

Recently joined PF due to personal reasons I'm detouring from a Crossfit base. I'll still do Crossfit style Wod's, but this method is much cheaper. You can definately get a good workout there. I purchased the black card membership which allows you to bring any friend whenever free of charge. I have access to hydro massage, massage chairs and tanning bed. I'm a middle age black man so I will not be tanning. Lol. I pay less than $30 where I was paying close to $100.
The only downfall: they dont have free standing barbells...

I have visited many fitness clubs. I have been to quite a few tanning salons. I have even been to several Planet Fitness locations. The New Albany one will be hard to beat. The staff is always friendly and ready to help in any way. I have never seen them without a smile on their faces when I greet them at the tanning counter or ask one of a million silly questions I come up with. They are impressively consistent and that's why I'm giving them a five star review today.

The taller older guy behind the desk. At least hide the fact your a racist until you get of work. This guy was so confrontational. He wouldn’t let the guy who was helping talk. He kept saying “No” to everything I asked before I could ask. I asked him was this Planet Fitness and he said “No”. Then he caught himself.
