A worker there named Todd thinks it's ok to wear a Trump 45-47 2028 hat while working out. He talks to the workers like he is one of them. Yet no one says nothing to him about the hat being inappropriate in a no judgment zone. I tried to call corporate. There is no phone number for complaints. I think worker should not be allowed towearing any kind of political hat period. So I canceled my membership.

The workers REFUSE to cancel my membership. Not only did my fiance and I BOTH send IN WRITING, per policy, we wanted to cancel..we have called and engaged multiple times with the rude staff members and the lady with brown hair that wears cargo pants is EXTREMELY RUDE and refuses to cancel for us and continues to charge my card. DO NOT GO HERE RUDE STAFF WHO WILL NOT HELP. I also recall having a baby last July and went in to make my payment, no one was at the desk of course and the skinny brunette with the filler lips came into the bathroom SCREAMING my name to make a payment. I explained I had been to the desk once and I LITERALLY just got out of the hospital from HAVING MY BABY. no sympathy, didn't care, no congratulations. NOTHING. No personality whatsoever to the staff. Very judgemental. Whoever the owner is PLEASE clean this place up you have a nice gym, new equipment, and staff who will not assist in cancelations or help. ALSO, would LOVE my membership canceled!! Skip and go to Family Fitness instead (:

People come for the price and 24 hour model. This one has 24/5 on the front window, but is only open 24 hours M-Th. Friday it closes at 9. Saturday and Sunday it closes at 7. Watching people try to come in as people are walking out at closing time 3 days a week would be enough for them to change things, you’d think.

Everyone has been super helpful except for the

I have tried to get the owner of the franchise number from him and he won't give it to me. and he will not give it to me nor will he give his last name to report the unprofessionalism. My girlfriend canceled her membership but they continued to bill her membership fees for the majority of a year. Couple years later she tries to reactivate her membership and is told she has an outstanding balance. They are now holding her membership hostage unless she pays what they continued to bill her after she cancelled her membership.

Get rid of the computer to check in for black card services. Every PF I go to that has that seems to be bad. Keep it simple. When you try to add layers to something you always make the experience worst. If we gotta check in on computer THEN still go to a person you’re adding an extra unneeded step. Having both steps is just wasteful time and money. Either get rid of the computers for checking in for black card or get rid of the employees. Personally I’d much rather see computers go as your employees seem like good people

One of the most affordable and clean gyms with newer equipment and lots of it. My only thing is I personally don't care for the music which is mostly EDM / house music. Other than that it's a great place for a good price compared to let's say Anytime Fitness which is overly pricey.

Planet fitness in richmond Indiana is like the Hotel California. You can check out but you can never leave!
I canceled my membership in July 2023. They took out July's payment, which I did not mind because I did cancel my membership just a few days before the payment was to come out.
However, they took out August payment as well. I called and asked about it and they said it would be refunded within seven to ten business days. I'm on day 17, no refund, no returned calls and a few days from September's payment that very well may come out. I'm a senior citizen that lives on social security and though the amounts may be small to them they are not to me. My advice is to find a different gym.
I just got off the phone with them and they changed my cancelation date from july14th to August 17th to justify keeping the money they took in August...smh.

I have been here visiting family for a couple months now and had to find a good gym. I tried a couple different places but was under impressed by all. I stepped into this place in the middle of the afternoon mostly out of curiosity. I took no more than two steps through the door and was greeted with a very welcoming “hey there, welcome to my gym!”. It was the manager, still working hard in the middle of the afternoon when most manager have left for the day. He asked me all about my workouts and what I was looking to do. He the. Insisted he show me around the place. I was so impressed, not only with the gym, but with his pride and knowledge of what he had done with the place. Truly the cleanest and nicest gyms i. The area. And if you have time to speak with any of the staff, you will see how each of them is so proud of their job, they truly love their clients and what they do!!! YOU GUYS ROCK 😎😎😎

I had an issue with being able to use the tanning bed at the time that I had signed up for and was not allowed to use another tanning bed that was open. And the manager called me first thing this morning to apologize and let me know that it would be addressed with the staff. To me that is excellent customer service that you don't see anymore. Really appreciate the phone call and apology even though it was not his fault.

I joined PF on Dec 31st and I have only missed a few days going here. Love this place, the staff is friendly and helpful, the place is clean and the people nice. Update: This is my 5th year going to Planet Fitness. I settled into a schedule of three times a week after that first burst of going every day. I've seen managers and workers come and go I can't even keep track of them any more. It's still a well run place and I enjoy going. I'd like to get one of those purple wrapped cars that the regional manager had but I don't think I'd like being behind the wheel that much!

As a black card member, you can bring a guest. My guest was my 14 year old son. He has been my guest in my past visits. He was refused entry due not having an email to accept my invite. I explained to the staff twice, that previous staff had manually checked him in and no email was required. They still refused him entry. This is not my first unpleasant encounter with staff, so I thought it best to cancel the membership. After arriving home, I received a call from the manager. He said my son could have been checked in manually and did not not why he was not. The manager was polite and tried to convince me to rejoin. I explained there were too many options locally and I did not know what kind of service I would get day-to-day at Planet Fitness. The situation boils down to lack of training, or pure laziness.

It's been a good place to workout & tan at. But Unfortunately when it comes to COVID-19 procedures. I find the facility to be somewhat lax in their enforcement of local, state & or the federal recommendations. Over all the facility is in my opinion, combating/enforcing these recommendations in a somewhat of a more relaxed environment, so I believe that they do have room to improve in order to be the best of their ability from what I have observed personally. There is room for improvement in my opinion. :)

I will of course continue, to frequent this facility but I will do so by using their excellent app on judging their capacity/time of day - I will use the facility at their lowest capacity in order to be able to use the facility to the best of my ability and to stay away at their busiest times in order to reduce the rate of transmission of the COVID-19 virus due to the fact that I have an compromised immune system due to chemo/radiation treatment.

Just went in today September the 15 2021 bathroom was a mess. Toilet was completely clogged and it smelled terrible. No air conditioning and the ab and stretching was very warm. Workers are almost non existence in the early morning

Being 100% honest this was my first time being a member. I had some bad expectations due to rumors ive heard while attending other gym chains. Plesently surprised after going there for a few nights. Everything is very clean, 99% of memebrs ive noticed have wiped down all their equipment, everythings always re-racked. Also so far everyone keeps to themselves and no "gym rat" egos at all. Im not trying to complain about other gyms just wanted to make it clear its much better then what ive heard.

I was traveling through Richmond Indiana and I stopped at this location. I have been to several locations and this had a great layout as most of them do. The thing that stood out more than anything was the customer service given by the desk attendant Riley. She was delightful and engaging in conversation with a lot of information as I was also requesting advice on local parks and opportunities for hiking. I am very grateful to her and to this entire outfit of planet fitness. The massage chairs are unbelievable and are helping me in so many ways. I was in a horrible car accident a few months ago. The car was totaled as were my hips. LOL. These massage chairs are the real deal, I do it daily. You cannot beat a better plan than what this company offers with unlimited tanning and massage and workout all for $25 a month. Look them up and if you are in Richmond ask for Riley so you will be in very capable hands.
