Overall the gym is clean, the equipment is solid, and I’ve never had issues with staff—except for a recent incident that really crossed a line. I was checked in by an employee I’d never seen before, and shortly after, he followed my personal Instagram using information from the Planet Fitness system.

I reported it immediately because that’s a clear violation of privacy and extremely inappropriate. Despite this, he is still employed there, which is disappointing and honestly concerning.

Aside from that incident, the rest of the staff has always been great, but the lack of action on something so serious has made me rethink how safe and protected member information actually is.

I Love this planet fitness,I’m a truck driver, is true that we take showers but in my case I hit the gym for 2 hours . It’s Sad to hear people complaining about trucks but this is the only way that we have to do exercises during the week.. and is very important for me idk others.. TRUCK drivers keep it clean please park here 3-4 hours and then leave don’t mess this up.. GREAT SERVICE,SHOWER AND WONDERFUL STAFF everything is organized. “A parked truck won’t stop anybody of doing exercises or taking showers.

Sinceramente insatisfecho, no se si solo es aqui pero yo soy viajero y ando por todo el país soy miembro de tarjeta negra desde el 2018 aproximadamente y he asistido a más de 100 plazas de pf, y siempre voy con mi esposa, en este local isieron que mi esposa mostrará a fuerza su identificación emitida por el gobierno, tienes que llenar un documento donde tienes que especicar que haces en en ese pf o porque motivos estas asistiendo a el es estúpido cuando pagas los fees y la mensualidad no te preguntan eso y aparte no la dejaron usar el servicio de la silla de masaje y en todos los pf que he ido ella los ha usado, imagínense que sea un miembro nuevo y que lo invites a ver los productos de pf y te salgan con eso te sentirías un estúpido invitando a alguien. I’ve been recording making a fan base shouting out this planet fitness. I’ve been Making it known how great the staff is. And how friendly the environment is . Non of the workers had an issue with me recording , then out of no where I was told at the door I couldn’t set up tripod anymore. I guess he didn’t trust me that I wouldn’t bring the tripod back in. So He put a note by my name to where when I go to any planet fitness it pops up with a negative interpretation of me. I’m canceling membership this week .

Planet fitness is now a truck stop. They park right up Next to the building and go to sleep Then they get up in the morning and clog up all the showers. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. I look forward to their smiling faces and encouragement. There used to be a trainer onsite, but no longer. Unfortunately, the equipment has not been properly maintained in recent months. It’s beginning to feel like this is a low priority location. I’ve been a member here since they opened 9 years ago. Terrible, Terrible Customer Service! I go to the gym to pay a billing amount they emailed me, and it was the most embarrassing, rude experience ever! I was told by the worker a completely different amount than what I was BILLED, and was shocked to hear such an amount! I was told I had a CLASSIC and BLACK Card membership at two different locations at the same time, which no lighter way to put it would be DUMB, and the system shouldn’t allow it anyway! So I tell her no, couldn’t be possible, I DID have a black card membership, but that’s it! This is when she got rude; instead of allowing her coworker to assist with getting guest in the gym, she stops working with me to assist them, never apologized, never asked me to give her a quick second nothing! I step to the side at my own recognizance because I’m really concerned about my PERSONAL business and should’ve had the courtesy to keep my affairs PRIVATE! She turns the computer around and is like well is this you, I said obviously, BUT I didn’t have two accounts, and I know for a fact I’ve never visited that other gym location as many times as she said I did! She then starts raising her tone, telling me it was nothing else she could help me with because I did it, even if it was a mistake it was my fault! So I never got rude, loud or anything, I simply ask for corporates information because I wanted this matter handled! She tells me THERE IS NO CORPORATE at all, and even if she did give me there number, they wouldn’t help me! She also says they don’t even have any contact with a corporate period because there isn’t one! I said well no, I’m NOT willing to pay more than what I’m billed! She tells me the best she can do is accept what she was telling me I owed, which ISNT what I was billed, and she can offer me a few months free! Like why would I just pay what you say, but my BILL says otherwise! Like I’ve never been so humiliated, embarrassed, or confused!

Toni the assistant manager is awesome. She definitely understands the assignment and she has results for receipts. Best experience I've had at any planet fitness in a really long time. This branch is great. Maybe a little re amp with some equipment but that's not the employees fault. Ty guy for making my Tuesday a lot more enjoyable and to know there still some kindness out there. Especially when you don't have to be.

Planet Fitness why is it okay for one of your staff to park in the handicap parking? This employee every time they are working parks their car in the handicap spot. This employee is not handicap and has no labels on their car indicating as such. Also this is the same employee that brings their teenage child to work with them, lets them wear staff clothing, then sits in the foyer and plays kissy face with her boyfriend. Sunday was a horrible mess, weights were all over the floor everywhere. I seen another gym member picking up weights he wasn't using and rack them. The men's bathroom was out of paper towels and had mucus in the sink just sitting. Trash bins were overwhelmed and needed changed out.

I travel a lot so I have been to many Planet Fitness branches. South Bend is a favorite because the staff is above and beyond friendly, especially those in the morning during the week. They always greet with a smile and warmth. This facility is always clean. The showers are huge with doors instead of curtains and space to get dressed in the stalls. There is a good variety of equipment. Great Planet!

I've been trying to come every other if not every 3rd day . Mikael and Marques are always the staff when I arrive and after a 10 hour day of work they are both an absolute joy !! Both are so welcoming its like visiting family !! I look forward to walking in !! It's always so clean and tidy. I frequent the Planet Fitness on Western Avenue. I’ve always been amazed how clean it is and how often I see staff cleaning when I’m there. I was there trying to find out why money was coming out of my bank account since I pd and closed the account. The assistant manager was assistant me and her male employee was there as well. He said under my profile picture watch it will say 'APB' on it and started laughing. I told him I'm here on business about my money and it's not the time for that! Toni the manager at the western location is very rude! After I had already spoke to the other employee about switching out my twin boys so they both could workout with me she come right before we were about to leave saying she had to leave because I couldn’t have both of them in the building at the same time! Even after her showing me the contract she still couldn’t show me where it said they couldn’t both be in the building! It was ok for them to be there during the summer but not now!? Make it make sense! They just be making rules as they go because I myself and my mom,Fri, and children had been to this location just under my account!

Lady named Li interrupted our workout while on a ab machine saying it was being used too rough, and I promise you there is NO WAY you could possibly be using the ab machine roughly unless you slam it down WHICH WAS NOT BEING DONE!!! When asked what was being done wrong she got an attitude and did not want to explain! Ive been coming here for a year and not once has any team member EVER said anything while on this machine in the front. If there was a closer fitness place I would switch, cause I should be in a judgement free zone. If I'm cleaning my machines, respecting the people and machines, then I should not be harrassed. I also asked to speak to a manger and she got very rude about it, said she can't do that. I would like a call from a manager please 🙏

Not a good start. I arrived at 9:20 pm for my first time mainly to quickly check the place out when it was the least crowded. The doors were already locked. The web site, their phone app., and Google all list the closing time at 10 Pm. If it closes at 9 pm or 9:30 they should post the correct times instead of wasting mine.

I went there in person 3 different times to cancel my membership since the first 2 times they said it would be canceled and it wasn’t. The third time I explained to the lady that it was my third time trying to do this and she apologized and assured me it would be canceled. I just checked my bank records and I’ve been paying $24 dollars a month for the past year ($288 total) and I haven’t gone there once obviously under the assumption that I didn’t have a membership. Don’t buy a membership unless you plan on being a member for life because there’s no getting out.

It's a nice gym. They have múltiples of the most popular machines which does give you options.

Really clean, newer machines, and the staff are super friendly/polite. They're always out, walking around and cleaning or helping anyone with questions. I go regularly and have never seen/heard the lunk alarm used, and they're not strict about clothing (I've heard people complain about this, despite not being a part of that gym). My hubby is a power lifter and no one has an issue with it. The newer massage chairs are amazing, by the way! Love this gym and definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for one!
