We love it here! We do preschool/kindergarten classes with my daughter and son, and we’ve really had a great experience! We enjoy the personalized support we’ve received and appreciate the small class sizes that make it possible for the coaches to meet the kids where they’re at! We love coach robin 😍🥰

My daughter has been doing gymnastics for a while. When we made the switch over to Platium I was nervous due to my daughter have SPD. Then we met Coach Robin and it was such a smooth transition and she is the best coach! She listens to the kids. Helps them anyway she can and is so personable and informative to the parents! She is def the rock of the place! That being said I highly recommend Platinum and the coaches there.

After our very first visit my girls were already signed up for a new gym!!! We started with platinum in September. There was several issues. We have not came back and lost over $100 just because we did not want to return! I have two girls and this was their first experience for gymnastics. Our very first day we arrived we walked in and didn't get greeted. The lady at the desk completely ignored us and we stood there for several minutes,like 10 plus minutes behind someone else in line. She was very unfriendly and ended up being an teacher for the older kids. I had to walk up and ask her where we go, where we put our things, and If we wait for the teachers to get us because we were new. I never even had the teachers talk or introduce themselves and neither of my kids were even told there teachers names. From the beginning it was a bad experience. Then my oldest daughter came home very upset and discouraged. She just turned 6! So I started watching her class a little closer and noticed her teacher being very snobbish to all the girls and talking down to them. She would ignore the newer girls in class. Which they shouldn't take younger kids and beginners in a class if they cant teach them or help them where they need help. I decided to wait out our remaining couple weeks and just pay close attention and move on because it was very obvious that it wasn't the gym for us. After that practice some of the other girls were coming up to my daughter talking down about their performance and this was alarming because I had heard their teacher treating them this way. When my youngest daughter was waiting for her class her teacher and the front desk lady were discussing the teachers switching classes for the day and right infront of my 4 year old she yelled yes that she didn't have that class. After I gave her a look she did correct herself but still this is so unprofessional and discouraging to little kids who look up to these teachers. She was nice all the other times. We were already signed up for a different gym so when the lady at the front desk had asked me about moving my daughter up I told her I wasn't sure what we were doing and to hold off. We only had 1 week left and we were just ready to finish and only be at our new gym. They ended up charging me anyway! I had called for days and left a voicemail. No one called back so I called more and the lady who answered was only worried about their policy and not reimbursing us. I had told them all that happened and that we had no desire to come back and were already in a different gym and they had 3 different people talk to me about this issue all saying stuff about some policy which there isn't a policy that says that they can take out your money without permission. They save all your debit card information and they charge you on the first of the month even if you don't authorized it. You sign a policy saying that if you don't pay before the 10th then you will owe a late payment. We started in the middle of the month and weren't even there 3 weeks before we got charged again and I never told them we were signing back up .I even told them to hold off and I was still charged and all they cared about was collecting my money, over $100. It is very sneaky on their website so if you sign up do not add your debit card if you don't want them taking out money unauthorized! You can not delete it once its in their system! This was all within 3 weeks of going here and we paid for 2 kids for 1 whole month without even taking their classes. The manager did call me eventually but I never heard from the owners. The manager seemed to be worried about the money as well. If this is their standards for their gym then we are happy we moved on to a different gym. Everything is word of mouth and I just feel like people need to be warned. Seems like they just wanted our money and not to correct these situations. They did offer to have the mean teacher taken out and have my girls in the same class but by this time we were moved on from all the craziness. If I could give it a zero, I absolutely would.

My girls love going each week. My oldest (8) has been going since she was 3 (minus during COVID) and she loves it. My 5 yr old has gone since Mommy and me and is doing great. It has been a great experience for them!

This was my second experience with my second daughter.. and again only my experiences

My first experience i had issues with even being directed to where take my daughter for her first class. no idea where to go never have even been in the place and no one was around to help us out. no one was friendly. my daughters slight interest went to 0 after two meets.

Second daughter absolutely loves the sport had a great experience with one coach as she was in two dif classes. Had a terrible experience with the other class to the point she cried to not return. ( this was 2 days prior to the new month ) I have also felt there’s a def “ in “ group in the kids with the work and attention they receive but i was still giving it a chance up until this.

so i try to cancel online as she is in 2 classes we’ve been on the line about leaving and this was just the icing on the cake
no way of cancelling cannot get anyone to answer several calls. Finally on the 3rd of the month i believe i got a reply emailing letting me know i will be cancelled but i am being charged for that whole new month even tho i stated she won’t be attending it. When i replied for be email asking why I cannot be charged a partial payment instead of the entire month for 2 classes she won’t be attending i got no reply back of any sort after weeks.

there are some great gymnasts and coaches in there i sure hope the professionalism improves and favoritism is ridden there’s a lot of potential of a great gym but it takes great attitudes as well

My daughter has been going to Platnium for over a year now. She started in shooting stars and moved up to blazing stars. She absolutely loves it there. Her confidence in herself has grown so much. She has made so many friends and learned so much since starting. Every week she looks forward to going. The staff have always been amazing with answering any questions and making my kiddo feel safe and at home with them. I couldn't recommend this place more!

My family was in Michigan City briefly while on a work assignment. We enrolled our 3 kids in gymnastics at Platinum Gymnastics and had a great experience. I found that when I called with a question, I would have to leave a message as no one answered. I was always called back within a couple of days to address any questions I had. This was my 2 year olds first gymnastics class and she loved it. Robin was fantastic with coaching her within her abilities. She also coached my 5 year old. We saw some great improvements in his over all strength by the time we left MC. My 6 year old was in the Mighty Warriors class. He seemed to enjoy them and if I had questions for his coach, he was always willing answer!

I have debated back and forth about whether to post my experience or not, but I feel that it is important for people to know what they may expect when paying for something as expensive as a competitive sport, like gymnastics.

This was our second competitive season with Platinum. We had had some issues with exclusivity during our first season, but knew that the team would expand and that it would help that issue. We did make some great friends this year, but what I wasn't counting on was the utter lack of coaching and blatant favoritism that occured.

My daughters (and others) were not in the "in-group" and it was evident that the level of coaching and attention they received was not the same. We watched certain girls get praise and huge hugs from coaches at meets while other girls got nothing but high-fives every time. We watched the girls be moved down on skills because the coaches didn't have the time or desire to work with the girls on the required level 2 skills. We ended up spending even more money for additional classes in the hopes that our daughters would gain new skills and strengths.

We watched our girls and others from the team completely fall out of love with the sport and lose their confidence in their abilities because coaches are allowed to blatantly pick and choose which kids to coach and spend the time working with.

For what you pay, there leaves a lot to be desired.

I had enrolled my daughter in classes. Due to a sudden change in my work schedule I decided it wouldn’t work and to unenroll her. This was done within a weeks time. They were extremely hard to get ahold of. Back and forth phone calls for 3 weeks! Only for them to tell me that they couldn’t refund me because they could have filled my daughter’s spot and made money. Apparently making money is more important than making future clients! She said she would be more than happy to schedule make up classes. No thanks! Not if this is how you run your business! I understand it’s a business (she repeated this SEVERAL TIMES), however, you’re not going to keep business with the LACK of communication!!

Parents were rude at a meet. They forced other people to stand bc they had to put their water bottles purses food etc on a bleacher where people could have sat. Like they were sitting on the bottom bleachers and then the bleacher above them was full of their stuff then the bleacher above that was more platinum people. People tried to sit there and they said that was their stuff or they were saved seats. No they weren't. They were just extremely rude. When they were doing the 50/50 raffle a girl from the home team was standing in front of the big lady and the big lady put her hands on her to move her. If I saw that happen to my child I'd be so mad. I took a picture to prove the seating situation after they told my family that those seats were saved. I even went back later in the meet and there stuff was still sitting there. That's why I took the pic

We are so grateful for the instructors,our girls have what's called sensory processing disorder,mirrored hands and ADHD as well as a few other physical medical conditions...not only are the instructors patient and kind to our girls,they have helped them and have built their confidence. I am beyond grateful my twin sister told me about them...her little princess who had been going a little while was the initial inspiration behind our girls wanting to join and the benifit of strengthening our girls core as well as helping with their balance is so wonderful.

the Girl loves this place. She has learned a lot and it is a great way to keep her in some sort of activity after school. I know they do a birthday package and we have been to several of those and everyone seems to be having fun, even the adults
