I am over halfway through Yoga Therapy training with PranaYoga. The experience has been amazing! The caring instructors and flexible formatting of the courses along with the continuous focus on ways to meet their students where they are and embody as they learn, cannot be beat. As an educator in higher education, I am consistently impressed with how well the program follows learning theory as well as making both information and human connection accessible to everyone, regardless of whether they are in PranaYoga's backyard or all the way across the country. I feel supported, nourished, cared for and confident in the information & skills I am learning from this beautiful program and group of instructors who lead with love. I feel so fortunate to have found the perfect community and landing place for me and my Yoga Therapy journey and encourage anyone considering therapeutic practice or training to schedule an intro meeting to see all PranaYoga brings to each individual and the yoga & Ayurveda community as a whole.

I am so happy to have found a home at PranaYoga for my Yoga Therapy training. Dani and her team are full of expertise, wisdom, and compassion. I love learning from them and deepening my knowledge of yoga, yoga philosophy, and yoga therapy. This training has already changed my own practice and relationship to myself, and I look forward to sharing all of it with my community.

When I turned fifty-four last year, I struggled with my identity. My children were now living their own lives, and my career in the medical field left me feeling drained and unfulfilled. I was experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, insomnia, and gut issues. So, I decided to schedule an Ayurvedic consultation with Dani, which changed my life! As a Pita/Vata Dosha, I learned how to make better food choices to improve my gut symptoms. I also found the courage to leave a stressful workplace to pursue my passion for Holistic Health & Wellness. I can't say that the last year has been stress-free, but it has most assuredly been a journey of self-discovery and adventure. Thank you, Dani!

Massage therapy with Jenny at PranaYoga has been life changing! I am a breast cancer survivor with delayed post mastectomy reconstruction and extensive high dose radiation burns and scarring. Jenny has made a tremendous impact using Myofascial release to help reduce my muscle spasms and increase my range of motion. Her skilled hands and supportive manner have helped me begin to heal in body, mind and spirit!

As someone who approaches life hoping to make improvements daily, I can confidently say that Prana Yoga is an exceptional place to grow your practice, whether you’re beginning or deepening an existing one. From the moment you enter, you are warmly welcomed not just as a participant, but as a person. The sense of community here is genuine and healing, and the atmosphere makes it easy to return again and again.
Group classes are thoughtfully led with clear instruction that’s helped me understand why and where my body holds tension. I’ve noticed improvements that feel sustainable because they’ve come through the kind of mindful work Prana staff teach with love. The teachers meet students where they are, offering variations and insights with genuine caring.
Prana's one-on-one yoga therapy sessions are particularly transformative. The individualized attention illuminated patterns in my body and breath I hadn’t recognized before. I leave feeling physically lighter and more grounded, but also mentally recharged—inspired to carry mindfulness into my workday.
The owner and team at Prana practice what they teach. They are humble, knowledgeable, and help everyone succeed on their own terms. I feel incredibly grateful to have found this studio. It’s more than just a place to practice yoga—it’s a place to learn, grow, and connect. (Founder) Dani has a wonderful book out that I learn from when I'm not on the mat. Give yourself the gift of reading "The Path of Joyful Living: Cultivating Mindful Action through Yoga" if you'd like to know more about her skilled approach.

Pranayoga and its founder, Dani, have been life-changing for me. Through 1:1 sessions, yoga therapy training, and yoga classes, I’ve experienced physical and emotional healing that I never thought possible. The compassionate and personalized approach has helped me connect with my body, mind, and spirit in meaningful ways.
Dani brings wisdom, warmth, and authenticity to every session. The support I received during my pregnancy and birth was extraordinary—Dani provided practical tools, heartfelt encouragement, and a nurturing space that left me feeling confident and empowered as I prepared to welcome my baby.
The virtual options for classes and the yoga therapy program have been essential resources. Living far from the studio and frequently traveling for work, I’ve been able to maintain a consistent practice no matter my circumstances.
Pranayoga is more than just a yoga studio; it is a safe space for growth, healing, and connection. I am deeply grateful for the love and care that Dani and the Pranayoga team bring to their work.

Do not pay for any long term plans or memberships upfront as it may not be open long and do not offer refunds. I had a membership and completed 200 hour training at Prana for over a year. Staff changes frequently. Class schedules do not offer morning classes for employed people. This year membership cost increased and inclusions decreased, so members were paying more for less. After participating in classes and the Prana community long term, I began struggling with medical issues and a major job loss, no one reached out to check in with me after missing classes for months, only when my card no longer paid the membership, then I was receiving multiple calls and emails. In a few months time the staff structure had completely changed again. The pricing is $$$. The extensive training costing thousands, provided NO mentoring outside of class modules although you are assigned a mentor. In a year program I didn’t receive grading on any assignments until the last couple months after asking for feedback from another teacher. The owner, Dani, shared she would give me feedback on my final teaching via email and I never received it.

I have been a member since May 2023. The total care, attention and assistance I receive from each and everyone of the Yoga teachers is amazing. Due to a number of physical ailments, I never have to ask for assistance. Each yoga instructor knows my special needs and go overboard to be sure my needs are addressed. What can I say? From the owner, Dani, to Jenny to Kierra to Claudia; superb staff and best decision I have ever made!

Yoga has proven to be an unexpectedly therapeutic and healing practice for me. Pranayoga has introduced me to a novel perspective, opening a gateway to numerous other paths. Each yoga instructor possesses a unique flow and style. Massage therapy, additional classes, and sound baths are also available. I am grateful for this opportunity to heal and gain self-awareness.

Pranayoga is the best yoga studio! Pranayoga honors the roots of yoga and offers authentic, holistic yoga classes to students of all levels and experiences. Come feel the difference of an asana practice that is aligned to the seasons and intelligently sequenced to align your body and mind. The yoga teachers are highly trained, with a majority of them certified as RYT 500 or yoga therapists, and are experts at meeting every student where they are. I have practiced here as a student since 2017 and completed their 200 hour yoga training in 2020. Everything that Dani and her team do is extremely high quality and worth your time, money, and effort!

So glad Pranayoga offered the July Yoga Challenge this summer. This July Yoga Challenge at Pranayoga enabled me to realign yoga motives in my life. This Challenge made me aware. Aware of where I was lacking and where I was succeeding. The challenge was within my mind, body, and soul. Maybe I didn’t practice daily, but I could apply my breath, my intentions, my posture, my thinking and my activities daily to ingraining behaviors I wanted to make natural and routine. Dani offered several insightful videos which I could view at leisure - but then I found I needed to schedule time for it all. This July Yoga Challenge was successful when I realized I need to just put time TO my yoga practice. Thank you Pranayoga! So beneficial!

I became a member of Pranayoga Institute after taking their Yoga 101 class. I cannot say enough good things about them. Each instructor’s knowledge and willingness to share their knowledge is endless. They are patient and kind and immediately make you feel right at home.
Pranayoga challenges me in such a good way. I’m gaining physical and mental strength and my flexibility is getting better, too.
I highly recommend Pranayoga Institute!!

I took several classes at Pranayoga when I was visiting Fort Wayne and Julie and Jenny were both so kind and provided me with the best space for non-judgmental, compassionate, and supportive body/heart work. I thoroughly enjoyed each class I took and it helped me so much. Thank you!

While searching for a teacher training, I found this school and studio, I knew in my heart intuitively the minute I walked in for my first class this was where I wanted to train as a yoga teacher. I have since moved from the area but coming back and being able to take a class after experiences elsewhere reminds me of what a blessing it was to have trained at this school for my 200-hour teacher training. During that training and while living in the area all the classes I took from a variety of different teachers was transforming. Dani is amazing and has brought this beautiful energy to Fort Wayne, if you are thinking of a place to practice I highly recommend going here! If you are new to yoga, I recommend going here. If you are thinking of doing teacher training, I cannot recommend enough how transforming of an experience it will be for you and something you will never regret.

I’m disappointed in the unethical business practice conducted by the owner. The Southwest Pranayoga location was closed immediately after the owner ramped up the number of classes at this location and offered discounted packages. I was deceived that this business and location was doing well and made a purchase myself. Come to find out the owner had been covering the rent out of her savings, so she knew things weren't going well. When I politely inquired about a refund, she refused and said it was their policy not to refund. I explained that she closed the only location I can attend being an out of town working mother but she didn’t care. I've filed for a prorated refund with the Better Business Bureau in hopes that I can take my funds and practice yoga somewhere else. The owner has yet to respond to the Better Business Bureau and has ignored their requests. Although I will miss all the wonderful instructors that made Pranayoga Southwest my home for yoga, it does not make up for the poor business practices performed. This situation should be noted and considered when making a purchase with Pranayoga in Fort Wayne.

Fun! that is the best way to describe the class I took from Dani on a Tuesday at 6 pm... I was traveling in Ft. Wayne on business.. I found Pranayoga on the web, and as I love to do yoga in old buildings and historic locations, I decided to give the downtown location a try... wow! Glad I did!!
Amanda - the receptionist, was very friendly and helpful on check-in - even giving me a tour of the studio - TIP: get there early to enjoy the lovely vibe of this studio - one of the very best physical spaces I have practiced in - great old building - huge west facing windows streaming in loads of late afternoon sunshine, interesting artwork, the aroma of incense wafting through the golden light - big room with high ceilings, cool music - just wonderful.. even lots of free and simple parking.
Dani is a great teacher - I could tell from 15 years of practice that her yoga knowledge is extensive and comprehensive - and I would love to practice with her more often - but the atmosphere was lighthearted, playful and FUN! The class was not overly strenuous, a good all levels challenge, as the mix of people - men and women, young and older - (the age range of the class of about 30 people included ages teens to 60s!) evidenced..
Dani has a great sense of humor and there were more than plenty of laughter and smiles throughout the evening.. give this place a try and you will wonder why you had not gone sooner... I will be back.. most highly recommended..

This yoga studio is amazing. I've spent a long time dancing around the idea of starting a yoga practice. The how, when, what's right for me, how do I fit in, etc. But whenever I brought it up with the teachers they were always incredibly helpful, even staying late after the classes were done to work on something one on one for me. I've never felt so at home in a studio before. I can't rave enough about Dani and Chris. The restorative yoga massage is so incredibly soothing. I have always walked out feeling 1000 times better than when I walked in. I can't say enough good things about this studio and these teachers.
