The venue and courts were fine, but the nonsense allowed by the fans was horrible. My first and last visit to PSM. There many other places that are better to take teams to compete at a high level and enjoy the experience as player, coach, and spectator.

Expensive to get in. No concession except Gatorade and water and candy.
They could make big money if they had a decent food concession area.

Not enough parking, disgusting bathrooms and not enough of them. They try to pack alot of patrons inside the large lovely building.
Meanwhile, parents spend $1800 for their child to play and each parent then pays $20 a day to get in and sit in the crowded cramped bleachers. So, if a child plays Sat and Sun. And if two parents want to attend it's an additional $320 a month (4 weeks in a month) for the parents admission and that's not including beverages etc.
How many kids are now professionals because they have been built up through this program? I said what I said. π

Great place and size for a facility but the parking isnβt great, it gets miserably hot even in the winter and they donβt have fans to at least move the air. Not enough bathrooms IMo.

Big place, 3 rinks, I watched a game in rink 3, viewing was allowed on the second level only, so it was OK to view but seemed like I was far away from the ice. Place is clean, parking can be tight if it's a busy game weekend arrive early, if you choose to watch you have two options, out in the rink air or behind glass in a temp controlled area, temp outside the temp controlled area was pretty decent not freezing. Not a bad place to watch a game but it's built for the players as it should be, not as much for the spectator.

This is a wonderful facility for tournament games of various sports. I knocked off a star because the restrooms can get extremely gross on a busy tournament day, but I also understand it's hard to hire help right now.

In and out so fast. Staff was pretty fast and professional. Had an xray and even that was really fast. We were in and out in less than prob an hour maybe even less and that includes the wait time and exam and xray! Kinda thought they would do an MRI but wanted to wait two weeks first, we will see might be going back but either way this is the fastest walk in I've been too ever. Saw a PA though I think not a DR.

The courts are super nice, but the consessions are crazy expensive, and there's hardly any parking. For fires and chicken strips, it's $14. Lots of people have to park across the street on busy days as well.

Very nice facility, but limited seating and congested areas especially as people come and go. $7.00 each entrance fee to watch our granddaughter play basketball. Kind of pricey and no senior discount. Also, indequate parking spots. People have to park at other businesses and walk over to the Sport One building.

If you are a spectator as my wife and I were for our granddaughter's volleyball meet, here is a couple things to be mindful of: 1. The parking lot though large is not large enough. The road was filled with parked cars, and we had to take our chances getting towed by parking in the hotel lot across the street. 2. Spectator seating, it is a joke with just a few rows of bleachers per court. Be prepared and bring camp chairs. I have yet to see these places provide enough seating for tournaments, which is a shame.we drove 2.5 hrs to get there and stand for the first he then grab a seat. The facility is clean, but wasn't designed right for spectators.

Clean and modern sport facility with great lighting. They have a nice concession stand during bigger events and the prices arenβt of terrible, but there are also plenty of options within a short drive or walk.
The Fieldhouse has a number of basketball courts, but also space for soccer (not a full field) and some sort of golf (Iβm not a golfer and have never been there for golf), and some other general spaces for sports training.

Parking can be extremely challenging, tickets are expensive, and with the tickets being expensive, you would think they can accept debit/credit cards. NOPE. They direct you to their ATM where Sport One charges you $2.50 for a withdrawal, making even more off of you. For the love, make it so you can accept debit/credit cards! It is NOT expensive to do that anymore.

Focusing on the pickleball experience, the best aspect is that they are open at a good time in the morning (8:30) and the monthly schedule is typically open with limited closures. Location is good, too.
However, there are several downsides to consider. The game is played on a very glossy basketball court. This, combined with bright lighting, often causes difficulty with seeing and tracking the ball.
The floor is often dirty. Though staff does dust mop, a full cleaning is really past due. Players commonly wipe their shoes due to frequent slipping. It is also common to see trash building up around the bleachers after nighttime events. Popcorn, gum, and crushed candy are often found uncleaned from prior events. Pickleballers tend to help clean up after those folks who apparently won't do it for themselves.
The cost to play is also a bit high. $3 to play on a subpar surface, that is often messy, and in a condition that is less-than-optimal for the eyes, is not very competitive versus cheaper (and better) places to play.
I feel $2 is probably a nice happy medium for what is on offer at this location.

No real food. Pretzels. Muffins. Chips. Candy is not food for kids in sports. They need to have the people before this group that really served great food. The people claim to be a grill.. It is not a grill as the sign says. These sports girl and boys needs real food. Salads. Fresh fruit. Nutrition bars. Sandwiches. Nachos etc. Was there for tournament this Saturday. Nothing in food line until 11:00. And then pretzels. Muffins chips. Couldn't get drinks for players because they lost the keys..then it took forever to get through the line. Only 2 people working and then Not organized. Didn't know price of items by one of the workers. This is not fair for the boys and girls that are participating in the games. I saw a lot of people going out and coming back with food. Some people could not do that because of poor parking. When you leave you may not have a space to come back to..as for handicap parking. Saw about 6 spaces. Many people that attended were grandparents with handicaps. Not enough places for them. I do believe they should have at least the first front row for them and should be monitored and action taken if signs not obeyed

For the amount of money we spend with tournament fees and entry fees to watch our young athletes play, you think they would have the courtesy to fill their water bottles after the third game these kids have played, but no they refused to fill them but rather made us pay for water. Even in COVID lockdown Michigan, they at least provide athletes a way to fill water bottles without charging a fee. Hands down the most ridiculous greedy thing you could do. Youβre making thousands of dollars off these tournaments, you think you could provide the athletes with a way to obtain some damn water!

I wrote in to SportOne about spectators not wearing masks once they were in the bleachers. Someone replied and said she would bring up my concerns. I believe she did because today, they are handing out slips of paper explaining to spectators that they must wear masks at all time or risk being asked to leave. The same number of people are not wearing masks when they sit in the bleachers, but no one has even come around to remind people they need to wear them or risk being asked to leave. I believe SportOneβs lack of enforcement may be contributing to the rising numbers of COVID cases and they should be more diligent in enforcing the mask rule for the health of everyone in the facility.
