The best workout ever! I've never felt stronger, more energetic, and slim! The instructors are so encouraging and keep every class fresh, even if I go every day. I cannot overstate how wonderful Pure Barre Bloomington is!
It's almost the end of the year and I am even more committed than ever. The team at Pure Barre do so much to keep us motivated every day!

I like how teachers are so good explaining every single step and correcting the forms of each person in the room. It is like having a personal trainer. Everybody is friendly, and the routines are not always the same but their are consistent and they take care of the entire body.

I could never have too many positive things to say about this studio! Every instructor and member is so kind and harbors a super welcoming environment. I’m a curvy/plus size gal working on my strength/endurance, not ONCE have I felt judged or intimidated. Such a positive place, not to mention great workouts! 1000/5 stars! ❤️

I'm only given a 3 because I have not tried them out yet, but I am really thinking about doing their special for the month if I can get over this cold. The only reason I am hesitating is that past experiences didn't turn out like I was hoping. Gyms are usually very hard to break into the clicks and always feel isolated. So maybe I'll give it 1 more shot. New town new people.

I was looking for a new work out class and I found what I was looking for! I’ve been to this location a few times now and have had two different instructors! Pure Barre Bloomington is a great community to join if you’re looking to focus on your overall well-being. They always have something a little different to offer from month to month (special events, challenges, new class styles). You will certainly see results in your fitness goals and physique when you come consistently! When I attended PB a few times a week, I was in the best shape of my life! The staff are all supportive and kind people who always have an encouraging word and a gentle hand if they need to correct your form in class. Erika was especially helpful whenever I had questions about packages or challenges. I love PB Btown and will definitely join again if I move back to the area.

This workout has changed my life, and I HATED exercising. My body is mine again. The pain is getting better everyday. Make sure you ice those trouble areas and keep coming back!
I'm really happy with the workouts. They deliver on their promise of low impact, high intensity. I needed a workout like this due to multiple injuries (neck, hips, ankles... I'm just a hot mess really). I seem to have a predilection for accidents. I have found the workouts to be challenging, yet achievable. Muscles are finally engaging and I am seeing more range of motion in areas I haven't been able to move in 10 years. I am really happy with the improvements.
The atmosphere is also really welcoming, the teachers are friendly and get to know your name. They are really helpful during class by offering alternatives to difficult positions and keeping the class engaging. The instructors keep the classes interesting by adding variety in the workout, not every "classic" class has the exact same routine, not every instructor does the same routine.
I also like that all the equipment you need is there. No need to pack a mat or blocks or resistance bands. They have all that there for you. It makes it easier to want to come to class if the only thing I have to do is show up and this works for me.

Everyone on the team is so great. They make you work hard and leave you with a sense of accomplishment! I look forward to all my classes, no matter who the instructor is. People of all ages, body types, expert levels, and genders come here, which is so lovely to see. After I get a hang of the Classic classes, I'll be trying the Reform and Empower classes, for sure!

Pure Barre is amazing. It’s all the stabilizer muscles and even muscles you didn’t know about. You can be 16 or 60 and because it’s not high impact movement it can be adjusted to every fitness level. Plus it’s just fun.

This studio, its incredible total body workout, excellent teachers, diverse community of mostly women, and its indefatigable owner, Jamie, is simply the best! Jamie walked us through the hardest parts of the pandemic and to this day there is an option for every risk level. You must try a class, in person or online, to see how this place can change your health, your strength, your mood... Give it a try!

I started coming to Pure Barre Bloomington in March. From the very beginning, the instructors and members always make me feel welcome. Oh and the exercise...love it! Having never done a group exercise before, I was pretty nervous. It is always so much fun!

it’s been 2.5 months since I’ve started Pure Barre and I could not be happier with how my body has changed and gotten stronger. I feel great mentally and physically. Workouts change every couple months to keep us on our toes. Loving it!!! The kindest and most encouraging instructors lead the different classes giving a great and exciting workout each time :) highly highly recommend.

My favorite workout! I recently started attending Pure Barre and can’t see myself not being a part of this “community”! I have attended all three “types” of classes (classic, empower, and reform) and you truly get a killer workout each time. I prefer the classic and reform, as the empower incorporates more cardio, which I don’t really “need” because i do Cardio on my own on my purebarre “off days”. but holy wow it still kicked my 🍑, so i will likely be back to the empower class. i usually attend Katherine’s classes, and she is so helpful in ensuring the correct movements are achieved. I also Would recommend checking out the pure barre website or YouTube page if you have not done pure barre to get some of the “barre foundations”. They also offer foundations classes which i have heard are very helpful.

Tried a FREE Pure Barre Classic class during their “soft opening”, signed up for the Early Bird Package sale (5 weeks unlimited), ended my five weeks a Pure Dedication 12 Month Member and currently well into my 2nd year. I haven't done any classes in years and was looking for something that combined cardio and toning/strengthening. I found everything I wanted and more at Pure Barre Bloomington. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, as well as inspiring. After only 5 classes I already feel changes and new strength in my core. The workouts are balanced, comprehensive and fun. Great studio. Friendly and helpful instructors. Cute decor, but would prefer newer or non-rusty lockers. Love the music and the burn or shake. Some movements are confusing but I'm just starting out at this format and it's gotten so much better than my first class. Love that the instructor corrects my form and challenges me to go lower. After today, I definitely want to continue, however I struggle with a good time that fits my schedule. 6:30am is a tad too late. I recommend definitely giving Pure Barre a try.
Review update: So I'm loving the classes and I've made the 6:30am one work for my schedule. I've tried all three different formats and empower and classic are my favs (depending on the day). Only complaint is the rust in the lockers which if you put your shoes down first then your bag doesn't have to touch. Small issue but otherwise nothing other than praise.

I never thought I’d find an exercise routine I liked, let alone one I’d pay for, but my experience at Pure Barre Bloomington has been amazing. The studio has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere; all the instructors are so friendly and they help make sure you have the right form as you go, and the other people in the classes are so friendly as well. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

I started taking classes at Pure Barre 1 week ago and in 7 days I took 5 classes. During the first class I felt horribly out of shape and weak and the pain my my left shoulder prevented me from doing a lot of the exercises. Prior to starting with Pure Barre it was really hard for me to get back into exercising because of the pain, I didn't feel motivated at all. During the second class I already felt a lot stronger and my body was more in control of the movements. After 5 classes, I feel my body is starting to respond really well, I am definitely feeling a lot stronger and the pain my my shoulder is almost gone! I love being motivated and challenged and this is the best environment for my physical body to grow and for my mind to feel inspired.

I have been using Pure Barre since August and I love it! Pure Barre Classic is a great class for regular toning of the body and I really love Pure Barre Empower because it is a great full body workout! The instructors are all very nice and are encouraging during the classes. I really feel like the workouts are making a difference!

The first week free at Pure Barre is such an awesome deal. I was able to go multiple times in my week and I felt both the difference in my strength and my endurance! Pure Barre is awesome! As a former College athlete, I have struggled to find a class that pushes me and challenges me everytime, and I have found that in pure barre! The teachers are amazing... take one of Whitney’s classes and you might not be able to walk out of there :)
