I’m using silver sneekers after my therapy appointments. They teach me which machines to use and how much weight to set the machines. How many repetitions to do. I’m very happy at Riverview.

I had surgery on 8/12/22 from Dr Jacobsen. He is absolutely most knowledgeable and helpful. He and his Physicians Assistant Ray Harper are the best!! They understand my specific issues and are very accommodating. My incision is healing well and my pain level is decreasing every day!! I highly recommend Dr Jacobsen and his PA Ray for any ortho treatment!!!

My doctor recommended a course of physical therapy, which included pool exercises. Water makes the perfect resistance. The faster you move, the greater effort required.
The therapists worked to strengthen my knees through stretching and exercise, which helped immensely.
Having finished that program I'm now going back for their personal workout in the water, which they call "pool maintenance."

Dr. Stephen Jacobson is the best shoulder guy ever!! I had a full replacement of my left shoulder last October and will have a reverse replacement of my right shoulder in a couple of weeks. There is no other shoulder guy in my opinion!! His staff is awesome 👍😁

Can't say enough good things about my experience here. Jennifer and Josh were amazing getting me literally back on my feet after a huge surgery. They are patient, and listen and pushed me just enough to speed up the healing process. Nice work!

I was seen for 2 PT visits in this out patient facility and after the 2nd visit I called billing to ask why they have not had me pay a copay yet. I was then told that they bill as though it's a hospital visit! I had called my insurance company prior to starting therapy and even with this being in network they still charged an astronomical amount! Nearly $800 for 2 visits! I could have spent less and had therapy completed in its entirety at another facility. They do not bill until one is done with therapy so I'm glad that I called before the bill got even bigger. On top of that, I told the PT that I'm pretty sure my pelvic floor is the issue. She did not listen and told me that I must have a herniated disc. She was very wrong. At my 2nd session she destroyed my back, it was in horrible pain for 4 days! I am currently receiving PT at another facility with a pelvic floor PT and it has been a wonderful experience! I am so glad I left riverview!

Took my daughter to Riverview hospital ER 2 days ago. She has pneumonia and has been ill for over a week. Her primary physician suggested we go to the ER as she was not getting better. Her ER nurse Lindsey immediately upon entering the room seemed bothered that we were there. She didn’t introduce herself and showed no concern or compassion for my daughter.
I understand they were busy but a little compassion goes a long way for a patient who is sick and a little scared. Isn’t that one of the reasons someone becomes a nurse? We have been to IU north ER hospital in the past! There is no comparison. They know what their doing!

If you are on Medicare especially with a Plan D policy STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They will illegally bill you for charges unpaid by Medicare and your credit will be affected. I'm in the process of bringing them to court about this but you'd be wise just to stay away.
