About the Club

Shred415 is an instructor-led, calorie burning, high intensity interval training class divided into intervals for the most effective workout, alternating between treadmill drills and strength training. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all fitness. Instead, we empower you to work at your own level and speed so that you can gradually push to your next level. We’ll alternate between treadmill drills and floor work, including strength training and cardio bursts. Your instructor will be there every step of the way, creating personalized modifications to help you get the most out of your workout.

I started coming to Shred on January 1, 2021, and from that very first class, I was hooked. I’ve been showing up five days a week ever since. Every instructor brings an incredible energy that makes each class something to look forward to. As a mom of five, this gym has been my escape—my therapy—where I can reset and take care of myself.

The past few years have been challenging, but every time I walk through those doors, I get to step away from the chaos, even just for a little while. The workouts are tough, but they leave me feeling lighter, stronger, and more capable of handling whatever comes my way. Beyond the workouts, the Shred community has been a constant source of support, and I’m so grateful for the friendships and encouragement I’ve found here.

Leaving this summer will be bittersweet, but I will always be thankful for what this place has given me. Shred isn’t just a gym—it’s been a life-changing part of my journey.

SHRED415 is a gym similar to Equinox right here in Indy. Every teacher has their own style and is more motivating than the last. The dark room makes sure you can concentrate on yourself and not be distracted by what others are doing. The 45 minute weekday lunch class allows you to get your workout in quickly and gives you the energy to tackle the rest of the day. Best decision I ever made for my health was to join and commit to Shred415. I would go to a Shred class every day if I could :) The instructors here are fun and offer a lot of variety in the workouts - more than I’ve seen at other group classes - and there is a focus on balancing both strength and cardio. The other Shredders that come here are all really nice people too. I think everyone at Shred is committed to working on getting stronger and healthier and that is motivating for me to keep coming back! I am sure some will say it is expensive, but it is a small investment in myself in my opinion. If I cut out a couple dinners eating out and a few stops to Starbucks, that covers the monthly cost and I am much happier and better off because of it! I would suggest stopping by for a free class. It may be challenging at first but you will definitely get stronger over time!

People think I am crazy when I say I drive 35 minutes for a class, but I think it is so worth it! The high-intensity never-repeated workouts, loud music, and dark environment are perfection! Shred is the best fitness studio in the Indianapolis area! I joined Shred as part of their Shred to Wed program (3 month unlimited membership leading up to your wedding) and have been hooked ever since.
The staff are friendly, facilities are clean, and they offer a wide variety of classes at times that work for any schedule. The instructors put together great programs and consistently offer modifications for certain movements to meet your need! On top of all that Shred does a lot of community events that are so fun to attend - outdoor workouts in Midtown Carmel, Sunday morning workouts at a local space, or having pop-up events with local businesses. Shred also boasts the best app I have seen for a fitness studio or gym - it is so easy to view class times, instructors, class types, but more importantly reserve you spot!

Before coming to shred415, I had always felt discouraged and out of place at workout classes, however that has never been the case at shred. The instructors are the most motivating and encouraging I've ever had. Every day when you walk into the building, they are there waiting and greeting you with a smile and do their best at remembering everyone's names. Tough workout classes but the instructors get you through it. I really like that I can pick the weights and treadmill speed. No judgement when I pause or need to take a break. I love that in the women's bathrooms there are things that I can use if I forget it at home like hair ties and dry shampoo.

Every time I take a Shred class I leave in a better mood. Everyone (and I mean everyone) on staff is friendly and genuinely seems happy that you're there. I was very intimidated to take a Shred class for the first time. My apprehension was quickly alleviated. The staff is very friendly, well trained and communicate very effectively. I played soccer through college, and then started distance running as my workout. Several years later, I started to get bored and dreaded my distance runs, especially in the winter. I turned to Shred415 in 2017 and I’ve never looked back! It’s now my only workout, 4 to 5 days a week, and I’ve never looked or felt better. The workouts are so effective—perfect mix of running and strength work! And still so fun—you can choose how much you want to push yourself. The instructors and staff are amazing and encouraging. Shred 415 is a challenging workout. The classes are broken into 4 15-minute segments alternating between treadmill drills and strength and cardiovascular exercises on the floor. After a few months of these workouts, I am a much stronger runner. The drills are not only speed-based but also vary in incline. It's tough, but worth it! The studio is clean, the staff is friendly, but most importantly, the childcare is wonderful and readily available! This is an incredible asset--the room is peanut-free, full of engaging toys, and has a t.v. (which isn't always on!). They'll even take your kids to the bathroom!

After a bad run, I took a hiatus from fitness studios and began working with my long-time personal trainer more regularly. This week, I felt like I needed something different, I missed the energy of being around people going after the same goals. Shred415 was highly recommended to me and I took my first class there today.

The class was broken down into 10-15 minute segments either on the treadmill or on the bench. The treadmills are Woodway and are very comfortable to run on. The drills, varying between incline and speed, are fairly short which made the treadmill time go by really fast.
The floor is set up with a bench, a mat, and a range of dumbbells. The class I went to was lower body heavy with a lot of squats, lunges, and a bit of core work thrown in there as well. I am very comfortable with these movements but I wish there was clearer instructions on good form and technique from the instructor for people who may not be. The weight choices were reasonable so I didn't feel like it ever became unsafe for people who can improve on their form/techqniue.

The studio is a dark room so that I could stay focused but with enough light that I could keep track of my form in the wall mirrors. The music kept up with the energy of the class and never washed out the voice of the instructors ( this can be a problem at other studios I have been to).

There are clean shower stalls and toiletries if your day starts with with class here.

Lastly, there are a lot of different membership options, so something for everyone; unlimited autopay, set classes per month, drop ins, etc. For me, I already have a great routine going with my trainer, so a restricted number of classes per month will likely work best.

Overall, a great and safe workouts, first class is free, so check it out!

Last week, I dropped in for a session with Kelly as the lead instructor. She did a great job setting expectation for the workout we would be enduring for the 60 minutes. Highly energetic class with nice transitions. Good environment both for women and men. After the class, I was able to shower with provided shampoo and body wash, use mouthwash, and style my hair with crew gel. Perfect transition before my 7pm meeting.
