We specialize in orthopedic issues, providing evidence-based treatment with hands on techniques followed up by appropriate loading to help our clients strengthen to tackle their next big thing, whether that’s lifting a child or a barbell. I joined The Perfect Squat because, after working a desk for a decade, I realized that I was struggling with movement and felt limited in the ways I could keep up with my family. Worried over what that meant for my future, I had tried other resources but felt they focused on only small, short-term fixes for pain and none offered the kind of whole-body-minded, long term support I was looking for.

Germaine and Sara met me exactly where I was at, listened to my (admittedly abstract) goals, and translated them into a thoughtful, sustainable plan that I’m genuinely over the moon about. They equipped me with the knowledge and confidence to understand *why* I’m doing what I’m doing and how to carry it forward on my own. Their approach has truly taught me to “fish” for myself.

If you’re looking for coaches who genuinely care and will build a plan that supports you and your specific goals (whatever they might be!), this is absolutely the place to be.

Germaine at The Perfect Squat essentially gave my ability to run back. Last year I started to get Achilles and knee pains in both legs after runs, any distance. I have a long history of injuries including 3 ACL tears, so after a lot of other PT in my life this was my mental "last shot" before I considered no longer running.
Germaine essentially helped me "refactor" my posterior chain, from shoulders down to my calves and ankles, and it's been a life changing outcome.
I can run without those pains now, on big hikes I use to get knee pain on downhill portions and I don't anymore, and an unintentional surprise is it also helped with my golf form.
They will commit fully to your treatment, and if you return that commitment Sarah and Germaine can help tremendously.

I cannot give The Perfect Squat and therapists, Sara and Germaine, enough hype and praise! I came in with hugely lofty goals—turn me from an injured sometimes-runner to a healthy mountain climber ready for Kilimanjaro in 7 months—and they are DELIVERING! Their therapeutic skills are the absolute best, but they don’t just treat pain and send you on your way to injure again! Their process of figuring out and treating pain first and then continuing to work with each client to reach their personal goals is unique in the industry and so empowering to me as the client! The gym has everything you could need and is always pristine and comfortable and the community of clients and therapists is so welcoming! I contacted The Perfect Squat to help treat some lasting issues due to old injuries. The gym itself is great: accessible, private parking, extremely clean and organized! The equipment is well cared for and the staff is creative and thoughtful in their treatment plans. I have worked with Sara from the Perfect Squat through my gym (Glutes317) and knew she would be a great asset as I dealt with some lower back pain that I just could not shake. After months of waking up in pain, I finally made the call and am very thankful. After one session, I had already experienced a great decrease in my pain which gave me hope. I've been doing sessions with Sara for a couple weeks and she is always so positive and reassuring. She will find the areas in your body that need support and will give you lots of simple, yet effective moves to work on at home. I still have work to do on all my stabilizing muscles, but I know I am in good hands.

I highly recommend The Perfect Squat for any physical therapy needs. I had a lower back injury a year ago and went to my primary care. They referred me to physical therapy through their institution and it was going to take 2 weeks to get in. Someone I work with told me about Sara and Sara was able to see me the next day. I was limping and in a lot of pain when I went in to The Perfect Squat and when I finished one session with Sara I was able to walk normally with minimal pain. She gave me exercises to do when the pain flares up and I am still using those today. This winter I had another injury and was much quicker to reach out for help. I was able to see Germain and was again able to get a diagnosis and treatment plan that quickly got me back to doing my normal activities. Sara and Germaine are amazing people and I trust them with any PT needs.

I was unhappy with the quality of PT from my large orthopedic hospital, as well as access to locations that were close to downtown Indianapolis. Sara and her team are right in Fountain Square. Sara's expertise in knee rehab is second to none, and she's a great teacher. I loved the microneedling and cupping options to help get my muscles firing. I'm back to playing advanced pickleball without any knee issues, knock on wood!

I was having pain daily for over a month and did not know why nor what I had done to cause the pain in my shoulders and neck. Sara was able to identify what was issue and reduce the pain to a very minimum the same day. She gave me exercises to do daily at home. Now, I am pain free!!! I also tried the "needling" which was an awesome experience. I believe this was instrumental in giving me immediate relief. Sara you are amazing!!! Thank you so very much for your expertise!

I came to Sara with severe pain from a trigger point in my scapula and weakness. I do CrossFit 3-5x a week and could barely do the movements I loved without significant pain. 5 weeks we worked together doing dry needling with e stim, rehab exercises and I’m happy to say I don’t have any pain and back to doing the things I love. I love that every week she would ask me what are my goals, what am I trying to get back to doing so she could make my rehab exercises more applicable to what I was working toward. 10/10 recommend.

Miracle worker! I went from limping, difficulty walking, and falling 2-20 times a day from lumbar back pain to having a fully functioning life again. I’ve been able to delay, and possibly indefinitely postpone, spinal surgery that ortho and neurosurgery said will eventually need done. Highest possible recommendation and refer everyone who asks. Sara is truly able to guide your fitness and therapy designed for your needs. She helped create a safe (and super effective!) exercise program with appropriate lifting for each trimester and stage of my pregnancy. Lifting is my preferred exercise, and it helped so much to stay active and know I was safe and staying fit and healthy. The exercise program also helped me prepare for labor and pelvic strengthening for recovery. She uses evidence and research, plus her endless enthusiasm and support. She makes you feel comfortable and capable. The gym has everything you need for physical therapy and fitness. Clean and airy. Highest recommendation! Will continue to use always!
