Our Mission
Powers of One strives to help you love and challenge yourself while allowing you to connect with your mind, body, and spirit. We were born out of a passion to share the amazing benefits of yoga and a healthy lifestyle. Our knowledgeable and passionate instructors are dedicated to providing you with a quality experience each and every time you visit the studio. Instructors will help guide, encourage, and inspire you in your practice to help you find your inner “Powers of One”.

After being told I was too young to go through hip surgery and my only solution was steroid shots, I reached out to Stephanie and she suggested muscle strengthening would help. The amount of pain in my hip was also causing some major lower back pain. I was becoming very limited on my physical activity because of it all. I've been going to her since January 2024 and the pain I was enduring is no longer there! She's extremely knowledgeable in what your body needs to become a healthier and stronger version and at your own pace. As long as you put in the work along side of her suggestions, you will see a change that you will be so proud of, and that feeling is amazing! Put your trust and time in with her and I promise you won't regret it! Thank you Stephanie for everything you do!

I've been a member for over ten years and love the studio! I can't imagine going anywhere else. The classes are varied, the instructors are great, and the staff are wonderful. There is a wide variety of classes, so I never feel like its the same-old same old, and I can pick and choose the class that time-wise and activity level fits my needs on any given day. I highly recommend!

Stephanie has been my personal trainer for a year and a half! I love our weekly one on one workouts. She is awesome at listening and personalizing your workout to what you need EVERY time you walk in the door.
When I first came in, I was having consistent wrist pain after double carpal tunnel surgery (1.5 year post op) and recent physical therapy. Stephanie worked with me to strengthen my wrists, and now they feel so much better!
After building some basic strength, my workouts have progressed -- and I have grown to love lifting! This is the best investment I make in myself 💪🏼💪🏼 Thank you, Steph ✨

From beginner classes to a more advanced practice there is a class for you. As you enter this beautiful yoga studio a true sense of peace envelopes your mind/body. Several fitness classes are offered weekly with a focus on strength, cardio, and balance. I have been a part of the Powers of One community for over 10 years, each day there is something fresh and inspiring offered.Truly a gem in the Roanoke village.

I have an upcoming wedding in September and wanted to be more toned/healthy. My friend recommended her trainer at Powers of One: Stephanie Anspach. I am really glad she did! I have been training with Stephanie since January and originally only saw a difference in what she calls my “non-scale goals” (i.e., better balance, no back pain when I’m sleeping on my side, more muscle gain, etc.). Originally I was disappointed that the number on the scale didn’t change, and I even seemed to gain weight. Thankfully Stephanie was SO patient and continued to encourage me by saying that “muscle weighs more than fat, and real change takes time.” Eventually I also saw a lot of difference in the number on the scale as well. I now will continue to go to her not as much for weight loss, but, for my overall health and well-being. She has made a great difference in life. I highly recommend her training. That being said, as she’s so amazing, you may have a hard time getting in her schedule. Just bide your time. She’s worth the wait!

Very clean and relaxed atmosphere. This was my very first shot at giving yoga a try. Looks like Wednesday's are Men Only night which was what I was looking for. Excellent way to relieve stress along with pushing boundaries in your mind and body. Instructor Lindsey made my first experience very pleasant and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend Powers Of One Yoga👍
