We have had the absolute best experience at UDA!
We moved to Valparaiso in January 2025 and were hoping to find a structured dance studio for our 5 year old daughter to continue doing the thing she loves - and we definitely found it! Everyone at UDA was incredibly welcoming, and the studio itself is so comfortable and cozy! So thankful to the UDA family for welcoming our family, and specifically our daughter, with open arms!

Wonderful dance studio! The instructors are very patient, personable, and caring; I can't say enough nice things about how well they have taught my 4 year old. She loves her dance and tumbling classes and looks forward to them every week.

UDA did an amazing job with my daughter’s 7th birthday party! They did all the set up, ran all of the activities, and cleaned up. We just showed up with the food. My daughter had certain requests, and they made sure to fit those in which made her day! Miss Lia and Miss Ava were so friendly and energetic. They made sure everything went smoothly and that everyone had fun. I highly recommend having your child’s birthday party here! This is the best one we’ve had, hands down!!! My daughter also does tumbling here with Miss Lia, and her skills have improved so much. Miss Lia is an awesome instructor who balances learning, structure, and fun with ease. All the staff is so nice and helpful. Check out UDA!

My daughter has danced at United for 7 years now and I couldn't ask for a more supportive studio! We are treated as family and my daughter has gained confidence, discipline and a love for ballet. Miss Susan is the absolute best and is a great role model for young girls!

My teenage daughter adores her classes at UDA. The teachers have been so supportive and her skills have developed at an amazing pace. She has made friends, worked hard and had a lot of fun. She always comes out of class smiling. Would highly recommend!

We love everything about UDA. My daughter takes a weekly tumbling class and she loves it. The instructor Lea, is kind and a very skilled instructor. She make the class fun for the kids which hasn't always been our experience when taking gymnastics elsewhere.

In addition, we hosted my daughter's birthday there and it was so well done. They handled everything from set up, goodie bags, the activity and clean up. All we had to do was show up! Best of all the girls had a blast. Thank you UDA!

Both of my daughters have been through various UDA programs and classes over the past 4 years. Melina and the team has treated us like family and provide routines my girls can always look forward to. I was looking at other studios around Valpo, but this is by far the best facility. Thank you UDA for challenging my girls in dance and providing them a community that they love being a part of!!

After My 21 month old great grand daughter had been dancing there for three weeks we show up on the fourth week with the instructors telling us that we have to put a mask on our baby and when we told her we didn’t have one they brought us out an adult mask and told us to tie it around her head. How do you put a mask on a baby? This is ridiculous and we won’t be back.

Hi Angie,

I am the individual who subbed for the regular pole instructor Wednesday evening who failed to close the classroom blinds. I arrived at class, set up the poles, greeted my students, and immediately began the warm up leading into class material. It did not occur to me to adjust the environment of the classroom I was a guest in. I take full responsibility for not closing the blinds and apologize for offending you.

I come from a competitive pole sport background where the friction of the skin is necessary for safe aerial transitions on the pole. I was excited to work on climbing the pole with my students as well as introduce a trick that requires friction from the upper thigh for a safe, strong hold, hence my boy-short bottoms.

My actions do no reflect the nature or the culture of United Dance Arts. The family-like community here has been so welcoming of me. I cannot apologize enough for poorly representing them. I am so thankful to have found a studio that offers the fluidity, athleticism, confidence, friendship, strength that comes from pole sport and pole dance.

The staff is very welcoming and kind. I have enjoyed my experience here, so much is taught is a short time. The recitals are amazing! To see the hard work all of these dancers put in from start to finish is very rewarding.
