Good studio and I went there for a while and enjoyed it! I was frustrated with their cancelation policy, which states that you must cancel your recurring plan 30 days before the next month or you’ll be charged for that month :/ I wasn’t aware of this until I tried to cancel and was basically charged $100 for classes I wouldn’t be able to use. Hit the pockets hard. There may be subscriptions options that allow you to work around this, but I found the website challenging to navigate and the subscriptions seemed pretty locked in to me.
Great yoga instructors but this part was disappointing.

Vibe yoga is very welcoming for many reasons. But, my favorite thing about this place is how amazing the instructors are.

The instructors are kind, soft spoken, and always ask how your experience was in a professional, friendly way. Also they try to learn your name and ask how you are doing. They offer support and suggestions if you ask for help or notice when you need extra modified movements. Plus they pick good music! Lol.

They start by telling you every practice is different for all people and they never expect others to push past their comfort levels. Go at your own pace they say, which is one of the kindest things you can say to a beginner or someone who is not always confident.

I have recently started my yoga journey about a month ago and I really admire this place because it’s comfortable, not judgmental, and there’s a large variety of classes.

If you are curious about hot yoga and want to start (and stay) somewhere that makes you feel good while you’re there and after you leave… I would recommend this place. Some of the classes are challenging so I would suggest getting recommendations from the staff before attending!

If you’re new to yoga, going to a studio can be overwhelming. At vibe, the teachers always introduce themselves to new students and offer suggestions for improving form. Vibe offers a variety of classes for all levels of students. For new yogis, a basic flow class or a slow flow class will give you time to figure out the poses. If you’ve been practicing for a while, the hot flows are usually challenging and can inspire new poses for your daily practice. If you want a workout, head to a sculpt class. It’s been my go-to yoga studio since 2016, so give it a try if you’ve never been.

I started my yoga journey at this studio nearly 4 years ago. The staff, classes and facilities are top notch. The owner Laura and her team create a caring and inclusive community. Taking classes here is great for mind and body. Highly recommended.

While I've been in Bloomington, Vibe Yoga has been an oasis. Early morning and evening sculpt sessions kickstart my day and my attitude. I look forward to spending an hour of my day in the fire studio with Amy, Anna, Abby, and Christa every single day. I love it so much I go twice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Though the classes are physically challenging, they have never felt intimidating thanks to the instructors leading me through each move. Also, the playlists are 💯.

I just got my 200-Hour RYT in Vinyasa flow 2022. This place has changed my life is so many ways. All of which are positive and fruitful. Laura Patterson, Katarina Svabcikova, Tucker Shelton, and Ruth Cohen all share this love of yoga/philosophy/history and are dedicated humans who strive at bringing out our inner self to use throughout our yogic journey and as future RYTs. I applaud you all at Vibe Yoga Studio. I am forever grateful.

Haven't been in for like a month cause I had to defeat the Rona. So I came back in today feeling sour and being extra stiff, when Amy starts showing us these amazing moves. It was like the healing version of jiu jitsu (what is a peacock??). My body was on fire! Then we got into this pigeon sleeper and boom, everything is now so relaxed! Tbh Even the music slaps.

10/10 this is what essential oils wish they could do

All the other teachers are OP too! Personally in love with the slow classes

I moved here from Pennsylvania in January and joined Vibe Yoga in February. I absolutely love it! Most yoga studios don't offer such a wide variety of classes, and I love that! I was looking for slower, spiritual yoga before going, but after trying out a lot of the classes, my favorites are Hot Sculpt, Body Bar, and TRX Cardio. All of the instructors are super nice and love talking to you. It wasn't long before I was known by name, which coming from out of state and not knowing anyone in Indiana, was really nice! It is a little pricey in comparison to other gyms and studios, so that would be my only issue. However, I think it's worth the price in the long run.

All of the instructors and staff I have interacted with at Vibe are welcoming and knowledgeable. I like the variety of classes (some are more of a workout and other are meditative and restorative) and that they offer community classes both in and out of the studio. Great place!

I just finished up with the new customer unlimited yoga for a month deal, and I have a lot of thoughts on Vibe.

The facility is very nice inside, despite the appearance and the location of the building, which I was initially nervous about. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and community props are in good shape.

This studio offers a lot of classes each day, the most classes offered of any studio I've attended in the past nine years I've practiced. My biggest complaint with the schedule is that there is an over abundance of hot classes. I understand that this is likely due to customer demand. But if I want to take a mid-day break to do yoga, there are very few unheated classes or classes that wouldn't leave me drenched in sweat. I would end up taking off two hours by the time I went to yoga, showered, and got turned around. That's a big chunk of my work day to lose.

As far as instructors and teaching style, it was kind of hit or miss for me. I really liked Sarah P, Michelle, and Liz (I think?) With the other instructors, I felt that the classes were solely for a workout experience and severely lacked a spiritual element.

When it came to difficulty level, I felt that most of the classes, despite being labeled intermediate or for all levels, lacked instruction for newer or out of practice yogis. The instructions often gave direction for medium difficulty, rather than starting with the basics and working into modifications to make the poses more advanced. I kept waiting and looking for a class I could bring my husband to for his first ever yoga class, but never found a class I thought would give him a positive first experience. I still don't feel this is a good place for anyone without 1-3 years of prior experience.

I felt a lot of the instruction lacked concentration on correcting form, and never had an instructor correct or help me adjust my positions. All in all, I felt the learning experience was non-existent, the human connection was lacking, and the instruction and lack of modifications was dangerous at times--I experienced a quad injury after attending a Hot Sculpt class, thinking it was a heated yoga class, not a 60 minute HIIT workout in a 90+ degree room. My friend experienced a torn muscle in her neck/shoulder only a week or two prior to that after attending the same Hot Sculpt class. It is easiest to injure yourself in hot classes, especially when weights are involved. Based on my experience with that class, I really think it is irresponsible and unsafe.

The clientele is primarily made up of young women who are IU students. There's a lot of lululemon--the studio sells a lot of lululemon merchandise and if you're attending hot classes, it is not uncommon to have half of the class working out in their lululemon sports bras and leggings. It starts feeling a little like a weights gym, and they're coming to look at themselves workout in front of a mirror. Which is not what yoga is about. It's not a competition, but somehow it frequently feels like a competition at this studio-- who has the best clothes, the best mat, the right water bottle, the best body, the best balance, etc. It feels like the classes are workout oriented because that's what most of the clientele wants. They want the Americanized yoga, and want to cut off all the Hindu, spiritual roots. And that's not what I'm about.

All of those things being said, I was excited to have figured out the classes and instructors that I felt were more in line with what I wanted. When I went to sign up for a ten class pass I was BLOWN AWAY by the pricing. I have never been to a studio that charged so much. I have had life changing experiences with my instructors who offered a lot more of their love and knowledge. One of the best classes I've been to was a couple's class I took with my mom that capped out at ten people. The class was $10. If this studio charged half the price, it still would be a stretch for me as far as quality of service I was getting for my money. This was a very disappointing experience for me.

I have loved attending hot yoga & their hot sculpt class. As a new resident to the Bloomington community, I was anxious to find a hot yoga studio that worked for me and my needs. I love the variety of classes Vibe offers (hot sculpt with Lexi has kicked my butt every time) and the friendly staff. I highly recommend!

Vibe is hands down, the best yoga studio in Bloomington. I’ve been a member there for about 5 years now, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Vibe offers a wide variety of classes, ranging from non-heated Restorative, Yin, or Slow Flow... to heated Advanced Power Vinyasa or Hot Fusion, to name a few.
Not really into the yoga flow? Try Hot Sculpt or Barre- both are fast paced classes using low weights, high reps. You will sweat.
Plus, Vibe offers over 80 classes/week, so there really is something for everyone.
All of the instructors are great, and each bring something special and unique to the classes they teach. However, (shout-outs) Erin is amazing and will kick your ass in Adv. Power Vinyasa and Hot Sculpt; and Michelle’s Barre class is better than any Pure Barre class I’ve taken.
(Rates are better than pretty much everywhere else in town. Studio/gym/ you name it)

Hands down the most unpretentious fitness studio I've ever been to. Teachers are extremely welcoming to new students and classes are taught in a way that students at all levels can understand. Barre and Hot Sculpt classes are a great workout, sure to make you sore the next day. And, some classes are just $5! Overall amazing studio!

I have practiced yoga at Vibe for over 3 years now. The studio has a wide range of levels of classes taught by its large staff and offers many workshops by top visiting instructors. Owner Laura Patterson is one of the best teachers of vinyasa yoga in the Midwest, and I particularly recommend her advanced-intermediate classes for those with some yoga experience.

Good vibes.

I went to Vibe when I tried yoga for the first time. I chose a heated class which was interesting. To get to the point, this is the best place for yoga as far as I'm concerned.
