I've been working out at Victory Strength and Fitness for a few years now, and I could not be happier with it. When I started out, I came to the program with some chronic injuries, and Bruce and the other coaches were able to work with me to make sure I was able to lift safely, and sustainably. I have better mobility than I've had in years, I feel strong, and even when I've had to take some time off, I've able to get back into it and keep up my progress. What I appreciate most is that the coaches will push you, but positively, not aggressively. It is a welcoming place. I've seen people of all ages and abilities come through the door, and the folks at Victory have been able to tailor the workouts to suit them all. The nutrition program is sensible and doable, not based on trends. They mix up the workouts so you never get bored. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get serious about their health.

Quick Review – Excellent service with great results
Long winded Review – I lost 100lbs on my own with just cardio, but I was still not satisfied and wanted to give strength training a shot. The thought of just randomly going to a gym and trying to figure it out just seemed overwhelming so I reached out to victory strength and fitness to see what kind of programs and systems they offered. I gave it a shot and I don’t see me stopping anytime soon. With a set plan and trainers on site you get the ability to efficiently and safely get in a great work out in small groups that helps on those days when you’re really dreading the gym. The owner Bruce and all the staff are great at helping you decide and reach any goals you may want to achieve. In just a short time I was able to do my first ever pull ups and chin ups as well and lift my body weight in deadlift and squat. I can’t wait to see what the future holds. If you’re looking for a change, give them a shot and you won’t be disappointed.

Okay, so if you are questioning whether to commit or not to their 12 week transformation program for whatever reason, all I can say is just do it. You WILL NOT regret it. This program has completely changed my life and I have walked away stronger, more confident, and so much more informed on my health (on both a nutritional and physical fitness standpoint).

I have always been terrified of the idea of walking into a gym as I had only worked out from the comfort of my own home, but I am so glad I got outside my comfort zone! All of the personal trainers are absolutely phenomenal. Bruce was amazing in holding me accountable to my nutrition and Josiah was very attentive (he was always making sure I was using correct form to prevent any kind of injury) and encouraging throughout the entire program.

This gym has such an uplifting and non-judging atmosphere. They truly meet you exactly where you are on your fitness journey. It is by no means easy (it takes a lot of work and effort on your part), but so very worth it. Totally worth the investment! Thanks VSF!

I came to VSF at 360 pounds. This place makes it easy for me to come to class and find ways to eat right. It’s not a hard concept. Eat better move more and you can lose weight. This place helps me stay accountable though with personal coaching and food logs. They check in regularly and help
Make sure you’re doing the correct form of whatever exercise you’re working on. With the work I’ve been doing here for the past six months, I’m down 70 pounds and have gained muscle while losing weight. I do several rounds of pushups on the floor now and am working towards some pull ups. Thanks to staff at VSF.

My husband and I just completed our 12 week program and we had a fun time working out together. The program incorporates strength training, cardio and nutrition. Over the 12 weeks, pounds came off and our strength grew. The trainers are fun, encouraging and helpful. They also were able to easily reschedule classes on day when there were scheduling conflicts.

We originally came to VSF because our teenage son was very self conscious about how skinny he was and he wanted to get stronger. As a bonus, I decided to do the 12 week program with him so it would be something fun for both of us to do. To say we weren’t disappointed would be an understatement.

The workouts were fun but challenging. The nutrition was broken down to much simpler terms than just a fad diet and they hold you accountable. Staying within the same workout group made for great camaraderie and encouragement along the way.

The before and after pictures showed a dramatic increase in muscle mass (6lbs) and tone in our son. He gained a body most people would give anything for. I, in turn, lost 18lbs and gained much more definition. The results were exactly what we hoped for.

Since we had such a good time, I did another 12 weeks with my wife. She was already quite petite, but, she was still able to gain noticeable results. She had never been able to do more than a single chin up in her life, but did 12 during the last workout.

One thing you’ll hear often is “Trust the process”, and that is very true. Follow their guidance and you WILL get results.

Wow!! Where do I begin…. I came to VSF because of chronic pain/arthritis. I’m not ready to be old. I want to be active and have fun with my grandkids. I’ve been on/off with treadmill, jogging, and biking throughout my adult life but haven’t really done strength training since my early 20’s (unless you count lugging around 3 babies). The personal care is phenomenal. The staff are diligent to make adjustments to prevent injury and promote healing. They are always encouraging and gently push me to achieve more and get stronger. This place is EXACTLY what I needed. I always was stuck on either a “diet” or going to the gym not really knowing what to do. At VSF it’s both working out and just eating healthy! I would truly recommend this place to anyone, no matter what health stage they are in. I keep rewriting what I want to say about this program because it has impacted my life in so many ways that I don’t know what to highlight the most. And I only completed 1 set of 12 weeks! There are so many takeaways from the program! I’ve learned better eating in general with easy substitutes, how to safely lift weights, a basic workout routine, SO many ways to get my heart going with different cardio techniques, and because of the VSF Facebook group, I learned lots of yummy, high protein recipes! During the program, I also had constant accountability and support. The trainers and small group members that I worked out with were phenomenal and so uplifting. I lost weight, felt healthier and it was so much easier to complete daily tasks in general!
I cannot recommend this program enough for someone who needs/wants positive change in their life!

As someone with former body dysmorphia and an eating disorder, I've never had a healthy relationship with food and working out. I've never been one who liked to workout and I've done every yoyo diet out there. I joined VSF in late November of 2021 doing the 12 week program. I committed to the process and lost almost 20 lbs and lost almost 18 inches all around my body. More importantly than what I lost, I gained so much more. I gained confidence, strength, flexibility, determination, and a much healthier self image and relationship with food. The trainers took the time to teach me proper nutrition while holding me accountable and giving me feedback. They make working out enjoyable and fun and I never thought I'd ever say that! 6 months before I started I literally sprained my ankle just walking down the sidewalk! 🤣 I'm able to do things that I've never been able to do before. They've changed my mindset and outlook on life! Since I loved my results and mindset I've continued my work with them. When I had a shoulder injury the trainers work to modify my workouts so I could still workout but protected me from getting hurt. They make things fun but still push me to work harder each day. I have to start by saying that I absolutely love Bruce and his team at Victory Strength and Fitness!! I did his program years ago and felt awesome. When I was wanting to get a jumpstart on my fitness and nutrition again, I immediately knew I wanted to come back here!! The number one priority is always safety which is a huge deal for me since I’ve had back surgery in the past. The workouts are tough and will push you to challenge yourself in the best way possible. The trainers are positive, encouraging, helpful, and they really work hard to help us see what we’re capable of and to motivate us! I’m currently starting week 6 of my 12 week Transformation program at Victory Strength and Training. This program has given me the motivation and accountability I have needed while learning proper techniques during my workouts and an easy to follow nutrition plan. I started with private coaching so I could learn the basics and hit the ground running with group classes. Just finished 12 weeks of Phase 1 classes and will be kicking off Phase 2 this week. I've built strength, and for the first time (ever!) I'm confident walking into a weightlifting gym.

I have always been skeptical about small.group gyms that also offer nutrition guides as well because I assume they just want my money and for me to buy their products which has been the case in some places I've checked out. I took advantage of the FREE class and discussed everything with Bruce and did a couple of exercises that were corrected and started my 12 wk course. finished that set and was excited about my results and the ease of the nutrition and being held accountable for it that I went for another 12 wks... After looking at the Twelve Week Transformation Program information and pictures, I knew that this was what I would need to get into shape. I suffer from depression, and many of the symptoms (weight gain, low motivation, feeling tired constantly, etc.) plagued me for years. The knowledge of how to eat, what to eat, and when to eat helped me make better food choices. Guidance with exercises, how to use the equipment, and tons of encouragement have given me the motivation and self confidence to stick with the program. I have really enjoyed my time at VSF! I've learned a lot about nutrition and I've never been stronger! I've been with other trainers before and have been lifting wrong for awhile. When I leave a session, I feel strong and confident. If I'm moving wrong, my instructor immediately helps me correct my form so I'm lifting correctly. The vibe in the gym has been extremely important to me as well. I have never felt weak or silly from day one. The accountability and 24/7 coaching really sets this team apart. Even on a day when I don’t have a workout, I still have access to the coaching. The accountability really helps. Where to start? I could go on all day about how this amazing facility has changed my life. I started at VSF at the beginning of the year to change my lifestyle, get healthy, and strong. In my first 8 weeks of being enrolled I lost 17.6 lbs and over 12 inches! I had a knee issue that required physical therapy and potential surgery. VSF's strength techniques helped me to graduate from PT after just 6 weeks, months ahead of schedule and avoiding surgery! Since late March, I have continued to lose body fat and inches working out 3-4x a week. I am currently down 36lbs and 27 inches! I choose to continue working out at VSF because they are making my goals a reality. It's the only place I've found where the program ACTUALLY works!

Not only are the trainers knowledgeable, compassionate, and motivated to see you succeed, the members that attend here are a direct reflection of the staff. Every member that I have met at VSF is kind, supportive, and hard working. We are all dedicated to helping each other succeed, while embracing the knowledge that we are gaining along the way. UPDATE: It's been over a year now that I've been consistently working out at VSF, which is a huge accomplishment in itself. I started working out there to become healthier and to prepare for my friend's wedding. I decided to continue that journey so I could be fit for life, not just an event. I've become a healthier, stronger, active, and more confident mom, daughter, friend, professional, and girlfriend. I do things for fun that I wouldn't have chosen to do a year ago. I chose to be healthier so when my daughter looks back at our adventures together, she remembers me being right beside her instead of on the sidelines. It makes everyday tasks so much easier. Victory Strength Fitness really changed my opinion on small gyms. I was really nervous about starting and committing, but after doing my initial consultation with Bruce I felt like VSF was exactly what I needed. You really get a lot of personal attention, knowledgeable trainers that truly care about you and your health, and awesome gym goers who motivate you too.

VSF has been helping me transform my mental and physical health since April. There have been a few personal hiccups, but VSF never gave up on me. They would send messages personally checking in on me. It's not your typical brute lifting facility. As a woman, sometimes a lifting gym can be really intimidating, VSF is not that place at all!! I highly recommend them to my friends and family every week.

VSF is a good place to lift because it’s not over crowded. You get one on one or a very low ratio of client to trainer. Trainers are very knowledgeable of not only lift technique, but also nutrition. I have seen great results and have lost 7% body fat, 40lbs and gained tons of strength in the last 6 months.

I'm through almost 5 weeks at VSF and seeing awesome results so far. I'm a pretty active guy and lost 3% body fat in my first 3 weeks alone. I love the accountability through the community aspect of it. Everyone has their own goals and is at different levels but you can see crazy progress across the whole group. It's this interesting combination of pushing each other through accountability and motivation but knowing you each individually own your progress while having a support system to get you there. Ultimately I think I'm learning tools to help me continue to improve my overall lifestyle and look forward to the progress over the rest of the program.

Great place to come for a strength transformation! I found myself gaining weight because of my sedentary lifestyle and joining this gym gave me a newly found motivation to make myself healthier and stronger. Workouts include circuit training, weight lifting and tons of other activities like flipping tires. Bruce gives you a diet plan and the whole program revolves around building your endurance and making sure you push yourself to the limit. I've been going here for 10 weeks now and I feel amazing. Highly recommended for people staying in the Greenwood/Southport area.

Not your typical gym…no high pressure sales. Bruce takes the time to learn about you, your goals and your abilities. He cares about YOU and your health. So much more than a personal trainer. The food knowledge and how/what to eat are invaluable…knowledge that works for the rest of your life. All the coaches work with you to make sure your form is correct to eliminate injuries, every session. They listen if you have concerns about food or training. Bottom line is…they care. I highly recommend this facility. Quit being on the fence about it and join one of the classes. If you want to lose fat and gain strength then this is the place to be. The staff is great and very motivating. I've lost lots of weight and gained muscle and strength. I can now do pull-ups and haven't done that since grade school. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

You see these ads on TV that show people putting in ‘real work and getting real results.’ Well, the people getting real results at VSF were all my buddies. LEGIT! I had to jump on board because I was motivated to get those results.

I’m a month in. Shape is coming back to my body. I know how to safely lift weights now. My eating habits and knowledge are something I can take forward forever. My mile time is already down minute as well.

I have been going to VSF for 8 weeks now, and it has been amazing! Bruce is fun to work with, really knows his stuff, and is very detail-oriented, with a lot of focus on correct posture and biomechanics while performing every exercise/movement. So NO INJURIES! Whether it's lack of belief in the value of a personal coach/trainer, or limiting belief in the expected results. It's a very simple yet PROVEN program with a very personable coach. Bruce was so easy to work with! ...Think about it, every professional athlete has a coach or mentor to help educate them, push them, and help them achieve their goals. Victory Strength and Fitness has a proven program to educate and train you to get those results and I'm proof of that. To be honest, the cost was a bargain in comparison to the results I received and what I learned. It's also a bargain in comparison to many other coaching programs out there. You truly cannot put a price on your health. I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to do something about it or I might have paid a much higher price later.
