They’re charging me 700$ just to cancel. They make you pay for future payments and also add on a $250 cancellation fee. This gym is such a scam. Plus they told me I had to only pay 40 a month but they charge me twice a MONTH! So In reality im paying close to $100 for a gym membership.

I don’t even know where to start, signed up 9/11/24 for a one year contract was charged cash upfront by Marcus of $100.. then bi weekly payments..when I went to turn in our key fobs and get proof they were returned the young gentleman named Kobe was unprofessional impolite, sarcastic, and distasteful not only did I feel the need to video as soon as he started rolling his eyes and smirking his lips at me, but I initially had called prior to acquire some information on my account and he said he was busy making some food he’d call me back when he was done(why not just be on lunch and allow someone else to handle phones tell them your unavailable until your back from lunch) either or he did end up doing what I needed him to do but honestly I see why it seems slow there a lot. Also, this gym charges twice a year once in April and once in October a few for damaged equipment lol!!!! So not only do you pay membership but they want you to pay for equipment that I’m sure they have insurance on !!! No music,two spray bottles not labeled (seems to have no chemical smell,so could be just water) to “sanitize” when done on machine, they use brown paper towels so you have to wave multiple times to get a good amount to clean the machine they should invest in towels brings they charge so much …my opinion save your money and anxiety dealing with this establishment !!!Mia herself is outstanding hardworking and considerate…now mind you in the beginning when I told you I was charged cash upfront???by Marcus?..Kobe was saying I shouldn’t have been charged anything..when he looked up my file it showed I paid nothing my email was [email protected](not my email)….and that I wanted a two year contract knowing we only wanted a year that’s when I met Kobe !!!! Bad business…

The only thing positive was the location of the gym. Planet fitness is way cheaper and they don't hassle thier members to buy extra gimmicky ad ons like the heart rate belt thingy or try to force you to get a personal trainer even though you constantly tell them you can't afford it due to budget reasons. Also you will have a hard time canceling your membership and they will still charge you. Trust me go with planet fitness.

I would give this gym zero stars if I could. Save yourself a lot of money and join somewhere else. The gym smells like sewer most of the time. We have brought this to the attention of the staff as have many other members. In addition, what small space there is for stretching, mat/ core exercises, etc. is always set up for an exercise class of 10, however, there has only ever been one or two people using the equipment, Yet it is still unavailable to those exercising. I emailed and discussed this with the staff and nothing changed.. Access is minimal for paying members who aren’t participating in the workout classes. These appear to be scheduled from 5 AM until 8 AM and 4 PM until 7 PM, prime time for those of us who actually want access to things to have it. I joined another gym in the area that cost less money and has about 20 times the amount of space available. Despite our complaints, they still plan to charge me 250 dollars to cancel My membership.

I highly recommend not going here,the membership is very expensive for a small gym sadly on weekends it gets full and the machines are broken or old .
But the staff is nice its just that the only thing that makes me mad until today is the cancelation fee its a amount of 250 dolars,if you dont like the money trown to the trash here and want to leave you will be charge 37 dolars weekly until the contract is over like in a time of 3 years so canceling or not is lost money .save money and time never come to this place

I have been sent through the wringer trying to cancel this account. As many have said you call the local franchise where you have to cancel, then they tell you to call, and on the call they will tell you to cancel via email that they don’t reply to for 5 days. Then you have to call 4 more times to actually get it cancelled because they put you in a pending cancellation status. They don’t even follow their own cancellation policy in their contract where you may cancel within 3 days of signing up with no additional fee besides $20.

I have no problems with the staff and the gym. It's the anti-consumer practices I'm still dealing with trying to Cancel the membership, similar to that of a debt collection company. Really, it's a trap setup by the Anytime Fitness, the company itself. You go to the official website to look for info to cancel, it tells you to call the local franchisee, who tells you to call a third party company to make that Cancellation request. Not only that, you have to email them too to make sure you're serious about wanting to cancel. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with just to cancel a membership. It's even worst than Comcast, which is rated the worst company by many consumers. That says a lot.

Had an appointment for a tour. Got confirmation emails and texts, including a text earlier the day of the tour. Only to get another text and voucemail from the manager that he had it scheduled for the prior day. No real reason for the different texts. If this is how they do things, then I will not be joining.

When I first started here I gave a 5 star review which they ask for and don’t charge you a key fee, great. My honest opinion on this gym, it’s dirty, the equipment is outdated. You call and get a voicemail a majority of the time. You ask for call back and you have to call and call to get answers.

Called to ask how to cancel my membership was told just mail in my key card and a piece of paper that says I would like to cancel. Ended up bringing in my card and was emailed that my membership is cancelled but I have to give a 30 day notice of cancellation so they are still charging me for another whole month even though i no longer have the ability to access the gym. Would not join here if I were you.

Super nice gym with plenty of equipment and plenty of space for whatever type of workout you are looking for. My complaint is that I was visiting from out of town and didn't have my fob with me and I was told that the gym was only occasionally staffed so I had to go after 4 p.m. when someone would be there on a weekday. On top of that they wanted to charge me to look up my membership with my ID. I know that my home AF would never do that to somebody so it seemed a little bit ridiculous. Maybe my experience is based on the individual I spoke to but certainly did not create a overall good experience.

Great gym!! When a member you can go anytime so great if u like to go early or late or work 2nd or 3rd shift. Nice because not over crowded like other gyms . Very friendly staff and can always answer questions and help u out. Also give you fitness plans and work outs. They have an app and u can track it work outs they give u on the app and count calories etc. I would definitely recommend this gym to family and friends . The staff also is personal and say hi to you bye name. Gym is neat and clean . Keep up the great work anytime fitness!!

Really nice equipment​ and facilities, but they do not deliver on customer service. Since I belonged to another Anytime gym in the area, they demanded that I pay more or leave after working out for a few weeks. Then they contacted my home club and told them I am paying too little for my membership—which was set a specific rate due to a special promotion. I am going to cancel my Anytime Fitness membership because of this negative experience.

I've never had a bad experience here. I love that this gym isn't crowded like others. You can workout in your own zone and everyone is very respectful of others. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The staff truly care about your health and when you don't show up for two weeks, they call to make sure all it okay. They want you in the gym, unlike other gyms that put out a deal and lock you in for a year and if you don't go they never call.

I walked in to try and see about joining the facility. Dealt with one of the rude employees and walked out...the guy would not even give me a price on a membership told me they don't just let people work out there you have to be on their regimens, The reason this facility appealed to me was for its twenty four hour access, and i am still having trouble understanding how the place operates. Trying to ask the employee questions about the gym was just about impossible, he was just rude and I could tell he could care less about me. Maybe if you are a lunk or a douche this place would be okay as that is what they seem to employ.

I used to go here. Nice clean facilities, with no or little wait on cardio or weight machines. I had no complaints about the actual gym or staff, but they used a billing company called ABC Billing which is notorious for double charging monthly dues and being a hassle to cancel a membership. I hope they still dont use them, because the gym isnt bad, but ABC is horrible.

To be completely honest I like the place because it is situated close to 2 blocks away from where I live. However it is obvious that location is important but it is not enough. The place is affordable, well facilitated and maintained. Save for the sometimes irritating visitors - it is the best.
