It's extremely hard to cancel. I wanted the membership for only 1 year, and wanted to pay for the year and be done with it, but wasn't able to do that because the lady on the phone couldn't understand English. I then called this branch to try to cancel, but the lady was rude and wanted to charge for a bunch of extra stuff like the key fob that you buy in the beginning when you sign the contract. And she wanted like 30 days notice,even though it was already passed the one year mark.

They don’t allow teenagers at this location. My daughter is 16 and has been to multiple locations across the country as I relocate for work and we have never had an issue before. I was told the owner does not allow it. My daughter is next to me the entire time. She behaves better than most grown adults. I am paying for the premium membership with a coach and nutritionist. My daughter also signed up for the contact. My husband signed up for month to month. Over $300 a month. $3,600 a year. We are contracted for at least two years out here in Muscatine. For a total missed opportunity of $7,200. We always pay our membership and would have never asked to get out of it till my daughter was denied here.

No for the facility. This review is prior to being told my daughter could not continue to come here.

My husbands review: This location is poorly serviced. Very dirty and not many machines. Very bunched up. Bumping in to people. The layout is horrible. The floors are dirty. The mirrors are dirty. The restrooms are filthy, I don’t even think it’s ever been moped. The equipment is very dirty. I’ve never seen such filth at a gym. Anytime Fitness has standards to uphold. This location is not living up to them.

I love it here, been there around 6 months I think and it's a great place for your workouts, plenty of machines to use and everyone I've met there so far is very nice and willing to help if you need a hand with something or even advice. It's not a HUGE place but I haven't had a moment where I am unable to do what I need to do. Like I said, people are friendly and if someone is using something you are wishing to use, taking turns for your sets is never a problem if you have the courage to just ask but personally I haven't had to do this very often. Cassie is super cool, the place is clean and people clean after themselves. Even the janitor is cool haha 10/10

Cassie is great and easy to talk to. She gives good information and tries to find good motivational skills to get her clients in the gym. She is always concerned about us and how she can help us individually.

This gym doesn’t support the military. I can’t cancel my contract to go to army basic training without paying 400 dollars. This gym doesn’t even have high quality equipment. Most of the stuff here is falling apart or doesn’t work properly.

This place is very small and ALWAYS packed!! Not very many options to choose from either. Don't even bother getting a tanning membership those tanning beds are DISGUSTING!

Can never get anyone on the phone. Went there to find information about joining. The woman was not very knowledgeable. She told me to look around. I took 5 steps into the work out section. Turned right around told her no thank you and left. For the cost it sucks. Go to the Y.

A disgusting mess! it's insanely small inside, no room to avoid others. The free weight area is clustered, the machine weight area is equally cluttered! If you enjoy working out on top of others this is the gym for you! It feels like a tax write off for the owners of the Muscatine Mall ( which you'll probably find mentioned on Deadmalls.com ). Don't bother with the tanning, you'll find dead skin cells all over the beds! The bathrooms smell horrible and appear to never have been cleaned! Signs say "wipe off the machines" but no one does. Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!
