Great place to work out!! My brother, his gf, and I always come by when we visit for the holidays. Clean facility, nice variety of equipment, and friendly staff. Tyler and his dog Sophie always greet us with a warm welcome :)

Also, I love that the owner, Tyler Smith, is making a community for our older folks in town to help keep them active and healthy. My brother and I will be trying to get our parents to go for sure! Hopefully, they'll take advantage of this high-quality environment

Stopped at this location a few times when passing through and my regular location is out of the way. Including the location I have my membership through, the Nevada location is also one of my favorites. Very clean, organized, and friendly staff. I believe her name is Sophie, she’s a sweetheart and knows how to be in charge.

Anytime Fitness in Nevada is absolutely amazing! The new owner, Tyler, has really changed the gym to a wonderful place for anyone to work out in. When I started, I was concerned as I have a lot of weight to lose. I feel accepted and missed when I don't go. I look forward to going to Anytime Fitness in Nevada. Love this gym. It has almost any piece of equipment you could want and plenty of cardio machines. It has a large open area for classes, stretching, or ab work. The gym is clean and the plants all around really add to the space. It has tanning, showers, and an Evolt 360 body scanning machine. All of the staff members are great but my favorite staff member is Sofie, she is the best!

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness for over 6 years and I have taken advantage of the "use any location" benefit several times, and the Nevada location always scores high on my favorites. Since Tyler and the new team have taken ownership, there seems to be a much better connection within our gym community overall (much like it was when Spencer was the manager). I am happy to see it! I also appreciate the steps that the staff have taken to create a more welcoming space- plants, better equipment, suggestion boxes, attention to member inquiries, friendliness, a better staff presence at the gym, and commitment to involvement in the Nevada community alongside other small businesses.

I live in Ames, but my children go to Nevada for school. I would make excuses that I didn't have time or money to go to a gym.
Passing Anytime Fitness in Nevada every morning and afternoon to pick up my children from school was the answer and because of the location, there was no excuse for even 20 min for me. I have been going to Anytime Fitness in Nevada since Thanksgiving! Tyler, the new owner, is fantastic and encouraging. Anytime Fitness in Nevada, Iowa is so clean and bright. The other members have been so kind and welcoming. I look forward to going and my 20 minutes has extended to 45 minutes as my confidence increases.
No more excuses with such great support from Tyler and Anytime Fitness in Nevada.

When trying to make an appointment to set up a membership at this location, the phone was answered by a less than pleasant employee by the name of Ashley. We understood that we had gotten there shortly after the office hours after she stated that she had just closed up and despite the attitude, we tried inquiring about making a Saturday appointment. The sign on the door explicitly says "Saturdays by Appointment Only" so we didn't think inquiring would be such an issue. However, she didnt even allow us the option. Nothing but a simple answer of "We're closed." No effort to try and offer any other appointment time. Nothing. Needless to say, this has left a bad impression. Given the nature of such an establishment, I expected a more friendly, pleasant experience with something as simple as a phone call.

Unless it's under new ownership I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. The lady that runs or ran it was useless unless you are of the opposite gender. Then she was hands on with meeting whatever was needed. Very unprofessional as an owner especially. I do believe it's changed hands though so that in itself has made an improvement.
