I’ve been working with Carrie (both spin classes and personal training), and I can honestly say her classes and sessions are a game-changer! What I love most is how motivating and fun she makes every session. She knows how to adjust workouts to your level, ensures your safety, and pushes you just the right amount so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed.
Since training with her, I’ve seen huge improvements in my strength and stability. Even on days when I’m feeling tired or stressed, her energy is contagious—I always leave feeling energized and accomplished. I have worked with Carrie both in personal training and spin class for the past 9 years. I was never very athletic. However, since working with Carrie, I am stronger and more confident than I have ever been. She knows how far to push and has an uncanny ability to get you to believe in yourself because she believes in you. She is devoted to her career, to each of her clients, and treats everyone like family. I have worked with several personal trainers in the past but have never worked with anyone as caring or intuitive. Honestly, this is the easiest review ever. I met Carrie through a friend last year. I was anxious and truthfully a bit terrified to even begin talking about a personal training experience. I had spent a good part of my 45 years believing that physical strength and athleticism was for other folks and not for me. It took about 10 minutes for Carrie to see that, see through it and start the process of helping me start a journey...own a journey to health that didn't make me feel "less then". She has created a unique space where folks can be challenged, accepted and grow! Don't wait another day to jump into a relationship with this jewel of our community!

My first personal training experience has been working with Carrie these past few months! As a new client who has not put their fitness to the test in this way I appreciate how motivating Carrie is during our sessions. Carrie truly loves her work and each client knows that because she talks about how proud she is of other clients while pumping you up as well. As someone with a medical background I appreciate that Carrie has taken a lot of time to become educated about the human body. With this extra knowledge I can trust that each new exercise is going to be pushing me in the correct way. Throughout our time together AND outside of class Carrie is always checking in to see how I am feeling and she has taken my previous injuries into account while in class. If you’re looking for someone to show you the correct way to get the most out of your at-home or workouts in the gym then I highly suggest starting with Carrie!
TL;DR Carrie is an educated professional who is highly motivating and will teach you the correct ways to get your body in motion!

Being Carrie’s son, I’ve had the opportunity to watch this strong amazing leader train hundreds of people and watch them grow into the best/healthiest version they could be! I don't really have enough superlatives to express how satisfied I am with the fitness experiences I get from my association with Carrie. Carrie is the most effective trainer I've ever had. She is highly motivated with infectious energy. But that is not so unique. What makes Carrie special is her ability to push you exactly as hard as you need to be pushed, which makes workouts with her maximally efficient. Carrie offers a number of ways in which to exercise— from group classes to personal training she is extremely knowledgeable on how to make good workouts and to keep her clients moving and training in ways that work best for each person. It is also a smaller gym, so even in group classes you’re able to get personalized help if needed and I always leave knowing I’ll be sore for days to come!
