The Cresco Fitness Center is a modern fitness, recreation, and wellness center with a variety of amenities to accommodate all fitness and recreation enthusiasts. Our amenities include an indoor pool & spa, vast inventory of fitness equipment, 100 meter indoor track, meeting & conference rooms, two multi-use sport courts, batting cage, wrestling room, and private aerobics rooms. We offer day passes and several membership options (including 24/7 access) to accommodate any family size. We have gone to the pool here many times. They have recently redone the floor of the pool. There is a zero depth entry that has been great for both of my kids. There are toys available or you can bring your own. Three tables on the pool deck are a great place for snacks (bring your own or use the vending machine). There is also a diving board, handicap lift, basketball hoop, hot tub and usually enough space to do laps if you want. There is always one lifeguard on duty. The temperature is warm enough for a comfortable swim regardless of the temps outside. The staff is always nice and available to answer your questions. Bring a padlock if you want to lock up your valuables.

A cool nice amenity for the community. It seems to have everything for this small town. There are dance lessons, wrestling, a pool, weight room, and basketball courts. It does have that 1950's gym vibe, but in a neat way. This is very rare even in medium size cities, so good job Cresco. Iowa's Year Round Playground.

I stopped in to preview the facility. It is quite amazing. Huge swimming pool, nice lockers, showers, etc. There are private exercise rooms available to book & a huge equipment room. They will have new equipment this fall. Very impressive for a small town! Highly recommended. There are a few options for memberships. None currently for seniors.

WARNING: Do not stand too close to a person who is the opposite gender if you don’t want to get stared at and gossiped about by the staff. The staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome so I ended up leaving. Will NEVER go back.

Was in town for the day and looking for something to do. $8 a person for an evening out! Can't beat it! We got to hit the batting cages for as long as we wanted and hit as many times as we wanted. There was a full gym and a smaller gym. Along with a walking track. All indoors. Then we took off to the private locker rooms to change and head to the indoor pool area. Life guards were on duty so children will be safe. Played around in the pool for a bit.( Even has a basketball goal in the pool.) Then we finished off with a nice soak in the hot tub.

Was having fun in the pool during public hours with the wife, child, and grandma when the life guard on duty went on a power trip and kicked us out over my 4 yr old touching the dividing rope between pool zones. Don't go unless being kicked out due to a bored lifeguard sounds fun.... BTW we were 4 of a total of 7 people in the pool.

It's a lot better than other gyms, the staff is super friendly and they pretty much almost welcome you right when you walk through the door. They have plenty of room and a ton of different things for people of all ages. Got kids? Take em to the pool, love to pump iron? They have over 20 machines to use to help you get the body you want, they also have 2 basket ball courts, a wrestling room, 2 arobics rooms, batting cages, and a golf simulator. And the price for all of this is $23 dollars a month. So what are you waiting for? It's a win-win.
