I did a 2-week trail at Versa Crossfit while I was visiting North Liberty. The establishment was clean, and well kept and coaches were engaging and encouraging. I would recommend this to anyone at any fitness level. If you're new, coaches will work with you and make modifications to make sure that you have a great, manageable work out. If you're not sure, go check it out and see what they're about. You won't be disappointed!

It has been the most incredible Experience I’ve ever had at a gym The coaches are well trained and very willing and eager to help you with workouts The gym is amazingly clean and well organized and equipped with everything you need !!!! It’s just not a gym to work out in it’s a family to be with !!!!

I can’t express my gratitude for this gym! I’ve learned so much about technique & I’m always persuaded to push myself a little harder. I love the atmosphere Jon & Tessa have created :) They have an ample amount of equipment & I feel the supported by the entire staff during every workout!

I’ve been CrossFitting for a few years and sporadically visit Philia when I’m in town visiting family. Highlights that keep me coming back: well-equipped (that Ski Erg setup 😍), clean and well organized, fun and friendly coaches and members, great music selection, and solid programming. 10/10 recommend.

It can be really scary walking into a gym for the first time, but the coaches and members at Philia are very welcoming. They make you feel like part of the family instantly. The class sizes are perfect; not too big, not too small. The Goldilocks of gyms. Many might think of CrossFit and say “no I can’t do that!” but the beautiful thing about it is that you can scale any workout to your own fitness level. The coaches at Philia are always willing to help you scale appropriately while pushing your limits so you get a great workout in. Simply stated, Philia is the best!

This is hands down the best CrossFit community one can find in the area. Everyone is so encouraging and welcoming. Anyone who joins will find individuals from all levels of experience in an environment of no judgment and the right amount of push one needs. Highly recommend!

A started at CrossFit Philia and have since been to other gyms to drop in or workout when I am out of town. CrossFit Philia is hands down the most welcoming and inclusive gym I’ve ever been to. The coaches are welcoming and know how to help people of all skill levels. If you’re scared of CrossFit, don’t be! The workouts can be scaled and catered to your needs, so you know after every workout you are left feeling like you gave it your all! Try out CFP and find a second home!

Was new to CrossFit when I started coming in October. All the coaches have been amazing and patient in helping me learn and preform lifts and movements always empathizing proper technique so I don’t injure myself. The growth I’ve seen in what I can do, my overall strength, and comfort with CrossFit has surprised me. It’s such a fun atmosphere to be a part of. I love Philia! I started because I wanted to work out in a team environment after being a college athlete. I walked in and never looked back! It has been such a cool experience to see myself improve as an athlete, but my favorite part is the community. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete, everyone is friendly and cheers you on each day. The coaches are super helpful with their tips and at pushing you to get better and achieve your goals. I highly recommend trying it out!

Awesome cross fit gym. Once you join, you will get addicted. Friendly people, wonderful environment and challenging workouts. Coaches are there with you to help and correct your posture, show you how you should lift and what should be the range of motion etc.

I highly recommend going here everyone is friendly and encouraging going here makes me feel good about myself and my efforts on becoming more fit. The people here are awesome and won't judge you. They even offer discounts for couples and students and let's not forget our men in the military! If you want to work out the right way then come on down and try it out you can do a elements course and get a taste then you get 2 weeks free to try it out and see if it's for you. I guarentee you won't be disappointed it can be hard at times but you can't give up on being a better healthier you. They provide you the classes with a predetermined workout to ensure you aren't just working one muscle. Even if you can't do the workout as it says they can scale it to meet your skill level and help you improve!

Fun, motivating, and welcoming environment! Crossfit is a great way to get out of a workout slump, every day is different and there is always more to learn and to get better at! The best part is everyone encouraging each other and celebrating with you when you reach your goals, no matter how big or small those goals might be! Having done the typical gym rat routine for over six years, I had grown bored of the usual monotony that had become my fitness and training regiment. In April 2016 I was introduced to CrossFit and specifically The coaches here. The coaches invest themselves into your training and well being as an athlete. They balance pushing you to do your best with knowing your current limitations. Each workout is tailored to your individual needs and individual coaching is given throughout the entire session. I cannot recommend this box highly enough. Not only are the coaches friendly and welcoming, your fellow box members are also wonderful individuals who cheer and encourage you every session.
