I don’t recommend this gym because I went there with my family and to ask some questions. But when I got there there was a dog outside the place just wondering and when I got inside the place I heard loud music playing and very stern women with a laptop so my daughter when to the women and asked “Hello excuse me hello?and the lady didn’t give anything but a two second glacé and didn’t even reply and it was hard not accidentally step on something, and they didn’t even care that some random family comes in and they didn’t even have signs that to come in or not.I j highly don’t recommend.

I signed my 5 year old up for gymnastics on her first day we decided it was not something we would like to continue. The class seemed mostly workout based rather than the expected gymnastics learning. There were three songs that I caught that had swear words in them. I called Sheila and asked if there was any way we could cancel the rest of the month since this was our first day and she declined. I asked her if she could cancel the annual fee she declined. so now I have a bill for $89 for a workout class not a gymnastics class. I will not be returning the rest of the month. I was also annoyed that there was a one on one lesson going on that was taking the majority of the mat and my daughter was told to hold on multiple times while waiting for the girl that was not apart of the class to work on her routine. The overall environment felt mean girl vibes not towards my daughter or me but between the coaches and older girls. Not something I want my young child around.

We started our daughter here a few months back. The classes have been great and our daughter is progressing well and having a good time learning and making new friends in the club. I’m appalled by some of the other negative reviews. We have had a positive experience and am grateful to have a local place in small town Iowa to bring our children to. These whiners and complainers are the reason local business owners get burned out and close businesses. Be thankful!

Very pleased with the training our daughter has received the last two years she has been attending. Owned Sheila has always responded to any questions I had in a timely manner and seems very passionate about the sport of gymnastics and the kids she coaches. We wanted our daughter to do more than just tumbling and Dolphins offers floor, beam, vault and bars! Coaches are tough but not mean and I love the relationship my daughter has developed with not only her team but with those coaches!! The higher the level the more focus and dedication required and the coaches tell the gymnasts what they need to do in order to place at meets and provide the training needed for the gymnasts to succeed. My daughter has learned a lot of new skills and grown as a gymnast but what I appreciate most about Dolphins is how they encourage the girls to support each other! I have recommended Dolphins to friends who now have their kids attending and I look forward to my daughter continuing to improve and grow in the years to come with this organization.

They are really mean to the girls. They talk bad behind gymnasts backs that change gyms. They don’t have correct mats and gymnasts get hurt because of that. Water leaks into the gym. The head coach Sheila is never there so the gymnasts don’t get correct training. There coaches aren’t properly trained they just get and interveiw and are hired so then again they don’t get good training.
