As a 10 year member I hope the new ownership will keep the value but improve on a few things

The grips on the equipment need replaced more often, they deteriorate twice a year at least

Treadmills get loose on the older models, big safety concern for me and I avoid them entirely, check this more often

Equipment with heart monitor features used to work but they have deteriorated and not been repaired (stair climbers)

People here are polite and generally rack the weights, things are cleaned regularly. People (even staff) are nice enough to give you a spot if you need one

There definitely is a musty smell when it is busy, I also don’t believe the ventilation is great.

Clips to the Olympic bars are missing/stolen sometimes and have not been replaced for almost a year, even after a couple of suggestions from myself. I’m about ready to buy you guys some 15$ Spring clips so all of the benches can be safely used! The little things matter!

What’s up with not having towels (paper or otherwise) in the men’s bathrooms? Dispenser has been missing for at least 2 years

There is only one squat rack, not great but again this is a value priced membership

This gym was the best in WDM when they had twice the space 3 or 4 years ago and charged a little more.

24hr access is an appreciated upgrade

After canceling my membership almost month and half ago they still trying to charge my account and after not refunding the money for my wife’s session with personal trainer almost 400 $ they called yesterday and threatened her with late fees and collection after we cancel our memberships you almost need divorces attorney to cancel membership from this gym.

Decent gym with lots of equipment and cardio stations. It's a small space so my only issue is that there is a slight musty smell that literally greets you at the door. Maybe better air circulation would eliminate this.

Quit in January and had to deal with these folks until May ...
I never had a receipt to prove I quit in Jan (I was never given one) so I had to have multiple conversations before Brian (co-owner) promised me over the phone in March that I would not be charged "going forward" ... just in case, I put a credit card block on them ... of course, they were still able to charge me because they changed the business's name according to my credit card issuer AND THEY CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL LATE FEE (I'm assuming this is because they were not able to automatically draw the money from my credit card on the first attempt)... [typically its "Aspen Athletic West Glen" on my statements ... but to get passed my block, the ~$63 charge was from "Aspen Athletic Glen West" ... ]
As you may guess, Brian had poor memory and didn't remember his word so there was conveniently "nothing he could do". ... the whole thing really pissed me off ... Brian didn't g.a.f., he didn't care he was doing wrong on someone - you could tell he knew it too ... the security cameras were taken down before all this happened, of course.

My home gym! Not a ton of space to spread out but enough if you're creative! Great equipment, new cardio equipment! Love all the colors & natural light in all rooms! The small personal training room is set up for trainers & clients, which can get crowded. But bigger cardio & machine main room & squat rack, other machines & cables in the back. Room layout works well for this small space, but the best part about this gym it is 24 hours!

It’s bright with nice color and the windows are everything and it’s spotless but very small and can get overcrowded. The machines are newer. I’d like to see reg sweat towels not shower towels.

Way too small for an Aspen athletics gym. The gym used to be bigger, for some reason they downsized the floor space and during the busy time of day you have to wait to use machines/weights, before the downsize it was rare to wait on equipment. I live down the street from West Glen but I drive all the way to the Hickman Aspen now.

Pay $10 a month, as long as you don't go during busy times (5pm-7pm) it's super nice and not packed. Doesn't offer classes but I usually just do cardio and free weights with no issue. Staff is always nice and equipment/bathroom is always clean.

Nice gym - Very clean and organized. No group workout room and not a lot of open space for stretching/body weight exercises. Plenty of treadmills & ellipticals, though. I mostly wish they had more than one squat rack. Great rates compared to most gyms!

I absolutely love this gym, and the people are awesome! Its nice walking into a gym and having the employees know your name. You do not get that at all anymore. It is always clean and well maintained.

The only reason I am not giving 5 starts is simply because I loved the size of the gym before they down sized and now it can feel cramped when there are a few people in the gym. Maybe I am picky, but I do not like when I am on a flat bench and have someone running an elliptical 10 inches from my head.

This location has all the basic amenities of a gym without the sports courts. The prices are great! $10 basic membership is the best in the area, and still offers more than all those other expensive trendy gyms.
Parking can get tight on busy days and is tricky to locate. The entrance is located just north of the building.

A great place to work out, without spending a fortune. It's clean enough. Even during peak times, there is plenty of equipment with no need to wait. I occasionally see cardio machines out of order and they're always back in service within a couple of days, and they just replaced pads on a lot of weight machines last week. So even though Aspen offers very low rates, they do maintain the equipment. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is pretty good, a great selection of machines. My only problem is the lack of benches and no racks to work out in. Staff is always very friendly however, easy to get to and always clean. I guess I'm pretty picky about my gyms, but I will continue to go here. Great rates for sure, much better than an anytime fitness. I would definitely recommend.

Staff is very friendly. The lady that does kids klub was very nice to my boys. They did not even cry Wend they stay with here. The workout machines have tv on it. I will be back
