His teaching is so clear and with him it is possible to understand the correct alignment of yoga postures.

This review is of Betsy's online self-help classes, not yoga classes. The owner Betsy teaches several online classes. Most of them are fine, self-care and basic psychology of self-love aimed at women. However, her latest class Reclaim is an atrocity. The class is the very definition of cultural appropriation and whitewashing for financial gain. The class is very expensive costing over $1,500 per person. Betsy and virtually all of the class are white midwesterners. Yet she takes authority to teach about Hindu goddesses, taking them out of their cultural and religious contexts reducing them to new age mumbo-jumbo. This is a classic example of a white person taking the culture of brown people, white-washing and packaging it for consumption by other white people. And making a huge amount of money in the process. Stay away from any class she advertises about "The Goddess" because what she means is the Hindu goddesses she has appropriated for her use.

Heartland Yoga is the best! Immediately during my first visit I felt this was the yoga studio for me! Betsy made me feel welcomed and I could see that she had developed a rapport with all of her students. The studio is clean and organized. Her yoga instruction is both relaxing and challenging. I am so happy that I've found Heartland Yoga!

Great location with a comfortable studio that features floor-to-ceiling windows letting in lots of natural light. I'm a big fan of Jackie's class on Sunday afternoons!
