I have danced at Heinz for 12 years and it has given me so many opportunities. I have learned to collaborate with others and communicate. I have met my best friends within dance! The teachers are also amazing they put so much effort and time in to support dancers. I couldn’t be more thankful for Heinz! It truly is an amazing studio!

They do not return calls or respond to emails. I left a few voicemails and emailed a couple of times. I was looking forward to starting, but I guess they saved me a few hundred dollars. 🤷

The teachers at Heinz Academy are kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Ms. Jackie and her staff create an accepting, friendly environment that I have had the pleasure of watching my daughters thrive in. They offer small class sizes with lots of opportunities to be involved. The staff communicate very well and create an environment that allows students to learn dance but also have fun, share plenty of laughs, and make new friends. We have danced with Heinz Academy for two years now and hope to continue for many years to come.

My dancer has been dancing for nine years and the growth and confidence we have seen in her during this time amazes me. The studio and teachers really value progress over perfection, which allows confidence to soar and attitudes of positivity. The dancers learn the importance of supporting each other and proving what they can do with hard work. The studio is run with professionalism, keeping in mind age-appropriate songs, dance moves, and costumes. The dancers are challenged to be creative and engaged beyond their classes with opportunities for camps, pop-ups, movie nights, prop designing, and auditions. Having two studio locations also allows for convenience within the Cedar Valley and an opportunity for the dancers to meet new people and build connection. Attending classes, recitals, and competitions are the highlight of my dancer’s week.

Never recieved photos from recital and owner doesn't return phone calls. Really wanted to share photos of my child and have called several time and left several messages and still after 1 year I haven't had my call returned. I would not recommend this dance studio. Lucky to recieve 1 star

Doesn’t return phone calls. Paid for my daughters dance photos over a YEAR AGO still haven’t received them. Called about them and OF COURSE nobody calls back. When my daughter left her ballet shoes before a recital of course no call back about them so I went out and bought a whole new pair from national dance academy. They brought her shoes to the recital but a simple phone call would have been nice! Guess I’m just out the money for pictures and won’t have them to look back at… waste of money and no offense to the students but there were only like 2 who were really any good at the recital so it would seem they’re not learning much after all the years they’ve been with Heinz. Would highly recommend national dance academy over Heinz.

We’ve been dancing at Heinz Academy for 7 years. We love Heinz because all kids are welcome. It’s a safe and welcome space for all the kids!! Ms Jackie is helpful and she really cares for the students.

We have brought two of our daughters to dance now for four years. My girls love Ms. Jackie, and all of their teachers. The class sizes are small, and the tecahers know their stuff. They also just moved to a beautiful new building! In reference to the new building, if you want to hang out there, the seating is sparse. Bring your vamp chair. That's what I do from time to time. We love our dance family!

My daughter started dance classes this fall, after partaking in one of their dance camps last summer. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience so far. The staff are friendly, supportive and welcoming and my 5 year old absolutely loves it. It should also be noted they are doing an awesome job on trying to social distance and follow Covid guidelines will still giving the kids an enjoyable & memorable experience.

We love Heinz Academy! My sixth grade daughter has been attending since preschool and can't wait for class each week. The owner is helpful, responsive and cares for her students. I really appreciate the modest costumes and choreography and the high value they place on a non-competitive environment. The price is lower than other area dance studios, and we only have to buy one costume per class per year, which is helpful to keep dance lessons affordable. Keep up the great work!

My daughter has attended Heinz Academy for 3 or 4 years now. She absolutely loves dancing and especially Miss Morgan!! She looks forward to dance every week. Thank you Miss Jackie and team!
