Impact offers group & personal training. Within Muscatine, we are the only gym where you can find Stick Mobility & Aerial Yoga.
As a gym, you are not a client nor a member - you are an Athlete. We are a small family-owned business helping others achieve their goals.

Would you like to improve your health, be more able to move more freely, get stronger and improve your body image? Then Impact Athletic Performance is the place to be!! Scott Schultz, Autumn Wagner and Cindy Klebe are the trainers who are extremely knowledgeable about the physical and nutritional workings of the body. They can take your limitations and help you to move more freely, become stronger, gain agility, get into better shape and improve your nutritional habits that benefit your body. They are always positive and encouraging you to push harder and challenge yourself. I was and am dealing with a lot of movement restrictions in my body. Scott has helped me through his performance classes to improve my strength, bend over easier, do squats with greater success, reach and get a sand bag around and behind my head, improve my agility, get in better shape and lose over 10 pounds in the process. It is not necessarily easy, but is very doable and they challenge you in each class. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy and attending these workouts has definitely been worth my time and efforts. I thank all of them for the excellent programs and training they offer week in and week out.

Impact was exactly what I needed when I was looking for a gym for both my daughter (19) and myself (47). No matter age, fitness level or ambition, Scott is able to program for everyone. He is encouraging and the class environment is fun and supportive.
After our family relocated, Scott was willing to provide me with programming and coaching remotely. It was a great way for me to continue to benefit from the workouts at Impact and helped me transition to our new location. Thanks, Scott!

Scott does a great job of helping everyone reach their full potential. Impact Fitness is a great gym if your looking to start getting fit or sustain your fitness. Everyone in the gym supports each other in a positive way without the big macho mentality. The workouts are manageable for all levels and abilities. Impact Fitness uses sandbags instead of straight bar lifts which I really enjoy. No weight is put directly on your back. I just finished my 150th class of 2024 and am in the best shape of my life at 39 years old. I believe the functional lifts and workouts I do at Impact Fitness are a great investment for my future health and movement as I get older. I want to enjoy retirement by being active and playing a lot golf and in order to make that a reality, I need to invest in my health now. I have found Impact Fitness to be the the perfect place to make that investment.
I strongly encourage you to dedicate yourself to 14 classes (3 days a week and two Saturdays) in a month and you will see and feel the difference. Never too late to start.

As an avid tennis player, USPTA Instructor, and outdoor adventure guide, I knew that when I found Impact Fitness Nutrition; it was the perfect fit for me. We work out in all three planes of motion, using the ground to create tension before movement, which makes us strong and stable and great for injury prevention. Scott', the owner, is passionate about helping you achieve your fitness goals, both safely and efficiently. The workouts are FUN, challenging, and your fellow athletes around you are always supportive and encouraging. In fact, it's such a great atmosphere and philosophy of fitness, that I became an Impact Fitness coach as well!

In January of 2019 I found out Scott opened his own gym called Impact Athletic Performance. I was so excited because since my Boot Camp days I stopped doing strength workouts and was only doing a running program. I wanted to become stronger and build muscle tone again so I gave Impact a try. From the first class, I knew I was with the right coach and at the right place for my workout needs. Scott coached me on how to properly train and worked hard helping me build mobility and strength.
I feel so much stronger today. I feel like Iβm in great health and in good shape for a woman my age. In the past 6 months, I have worked with Autumn doing a nutrition program and have gained so much knowledge on building healthy habits and lifestyle changes. Impact is like a family to me. I have been a part of the Impact Family since May 19. I would not have considered myself an athlete prior to joining. One of the first things I learned was if you have a body you are an athlete. Scott / Autumn focus on moving better in all aspects of life and get stronger, more balanced and overall wellness. I have been challenged and always encouraged to get better but they are willing to also modify to fit individual needs. I recently completed the 28 day nutrition challenge they offered. I truly enjoyed the 28 days, always felt encouraged and learned many tips I am working on incorporating into my life. I was surprised at how fast 28 went and how easy it was to change habits. I didn't feel deprived or like I was "dieting". I look forward to continuing on this journey and know they will be rooting for me all the way! Progress over perfection!

Amazing team to train with. No matter where you are in your fitness journey to them you are an athlete. I have come so far in my overall health and fitness in the year that I have been with Impact. Since I have started working with Scott and the team at Impact I have definitely noticed a huge improvement in my mobility and strength. Scott has helped educate me on how my body works and has tailored fitness programs that address my needs. The one big thing that I love about Impact is that no matter what fitness level you are everyone at Impact is referred to and treated as an athlete. I love working out at Impact! Scott has a big picture approach to fitness and makes sure we cover everything--flexibility, strength, endurance. He is great at explaining and demonstrating each movement and gives personal feedback to make sure you have correct form and are getting the most out of the workout. He will push you to do more than you think you can but is also quick to help modify if needed. Great place to go for overall fitness!
