We took our grandkids for open swim on Saturday afternoon. Not many people in the pool area which was very nice! Walking into the building, the 2 staff members at the reception desk were very friendly. Area was clean! Got upstairs to the locker room area which were also clean and accessible! During the swim time in the pool area, the kids had a great time, with many of the provided swim toys fun the facility. The splash pad water feature was very nice also for the little ones. The only negative was the kids were still playing on the splash pad equipment, normal operation during normal business hours, and a staff member shut the splash pad equipment down and said it would be closed for 20 minutes. No explanation given. So after nearly 45 minutes, we asked if it was going to be restarted so the kids could play in it again. Was told they would only restart it if enough kids wanted to play in it. My issue stems with, there were plenty of kids playing on it before you shut it down. Turn it back on so the kids can go back to enjoying it again.

That is where I lift weights and they have everything I need for lifting weights plus they offer yoga Pilates cycling classes a pool couple full size basketball courts soundproof rooms locker rooms and much much more for cheaper than any other gym in the LeMars Iowa. They offer a tuition program where I get a membership for my daughter and I for only $15 a month because it goes off of your income and your situation and I can use my membership at any YMCA across the United States. I couldn't ask for anything more in the gym thank you

I really like the swimming pool. but they need something like a wait list for the lanes when the lanes are being used so that its fair to everybody. Just like if the treadmills are all being used, you wait until one becomes available, the lanes should be no different. Just like If you go to the drive through at the bank, you wait your turn.

While the pool felt heated and my little loved the toddler area, the staff could use some improvement. We waited out a storm because the kids so desperately wanted to swim and staff was less than thrilled to have us. No outside snacks or water allowed.

Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I've enjoyed the racketball court, TaeKwonDo, weight training room, basketball courts, and the cardio room. They have programs to help with finances too, which I think is really cool.
