Been a member at MW for over a year and I can't get enough of the training there. Had many issues off tightness and pain with my hips, back, shoulders and knees. Years of bad form and technique through sports and crossfit. Anthony is very patient, does a great job communicating with me to understand, troubleshoot, and customize a workout that continues to leave me in less pain and more fluid in my movements. Movewell is a must for anyone looking to relieve themselves from pain or athletes looking to greatly increase their performance in a way that is different than any type of physical training.

Started going to Movewell about 2 years ago with Chris. Initially was concerned about Plantar Fasciitis, which was a quick fix. Wasn’t running when I started and now I’m up to 10.6mph sprints on the treadmill. I feel safe training there as I trust Chris won’t have me do a movement that could injury me. They focus on form to make the function of our bodies the best possible.

Anthony Baccam has been working with me for a little over a year, the work these people do is life saving and life changing! Movewell has completely changed my life. I've been highly active since I was a little kid, an athlete growing up and have trained in a range of areas in my adult life (powerlifting, bodybuilding, crossfit, etc.). Although fitness is a passion, the pleasure of being active has come with a great deal of pain and discomfort, primarily in my back. To try and alleviate this I've gone to physical therapy, have seen multiple chiropractors, have had countless massages, received cupping and gua sha services, have tried sensory deprivation tanks and so forth. No matter what concoction of fitness and "recovery" I was doing, I always had some type of pain. That is until I started training with Anthony at Movewell using functional patterns. He observes my habits and movements and then takes the time to address each dysfunction with me and provides an educated solution through functional exercises that can be used both inside and outside of Movewell. Each session there has been forward progress, whether it's been with my mechanics, feeling less compressed, or just moving in general without constant discomfort. Learning to move in a way that respects how the body was created has made training fun and enjoyable again! The cherry on top? Anyone can apply this style of training to their daily routine and continuously benefit from it.

When I went to Move Well for a Consult, I had been struggling with an injury to my back (2 bulging disc, torn glute, and hip joint)! I had been doing 11 months of Physical Therapy, 2 injections into my hip joint at the Pain Clinic, and one in the hip in the Dr office. At this point I didn't think I would ever be pain free without getting injections every 3 months!! However, that was not at all the case!! Chris went through some basic FP movements, and I couldn't believe the difference in my body!! And, that was the first night I had a full night of sleep, I am able to roll over in bed without using my hands to assist my hips in turning!!! We have continued to build each visit and I am even doing rotation movements.....WHAT!!! If someone would've told me that was going to be possible with no pain during or after..... I would probably have laughed! I am so glad I PM'd Move Well, no looking back now!!! If, you are tired of your body hurting, it's time to check out Functional Patterns, it's right for everyone!!!

I had a back injury, had scheduled a cortisone shot for the pain. Then I hit up Anthony, the experience has been LIFE CHANGING. I went him laying on the floor and barely walking to being able do what I want. I'm still not out of the clear, but it gave me my life back. I was down a little over 5 months. I've been working with Anthony less than 2 months. If your tied of physical therapy and what seems like endless doctors visits. Give these guys a shot. I guarantee you will come back. Thank God I decided to come in. Or I would still be laying on the floor watching the ceiling.

Chris Chapman - certified FP trainer at Movewell - is the BEST! I have been working with him for little over a year as recommended by my physical therapist. I kept getting a slipped disc in my lower spine and the physical therapy exercises were not sufficient to really strengthen all the necessary muscles in the area, well every where actually. For the past year I have been pain free and and have become much stronger. My running and swimming have also much improved. I highly recommend this training studio.

This place has been life-changing for me! I suffer from flat feet and poor body mechanics which has prevented me from getting into a good running/fitness routine. I started training with Chris four months ago, and what a noticeable difference! I feel much more agile and energetic, and I have gotten several unsolicited comments on my improved posture from friends and family. I’ve been working with Angela for several months. Very knowledgable and thoughtful about teaching and training my biomechanics. Lower back pain is GONE! I’m actually running again after 5 years off. I feel stronger, I’m leaner and moving better than I was 10 years ago. At almost 65 years I can see how I might be moving better when I’m seventy than when I was 55. Atmosphere at MOVEWELL is fun and equips you to move better pain free. I wish I’d learned these ways when I was younger.
