Staff are incredibly helpful, I am an out of stater who was in town for the holidays and they got me squared away. Super bummed there weren't any peloton bikes that I could use for cycling classes

Staff allowed another patriot to threaten me and then made me leave the establishment as if I did something wrong for letting them know somebody else was threatening me

The North Scott YMCA is a phenomenal community resource with state-of-the-art facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. The aquatic center, featuring a lap pool, leisure pool with fun water features, and a relaxing whirlpool, is a huge hit with families. Beyond the pool, the Y offers a fully equipped gym, indoor track, and a variety of group exercise classes to suit all fitness levels. With friendly staff and a range of programs for all ages, it truly fosters a healthy spirit, mind, and body for the entire community.

Perhaps others enjoy the window view of the pool with the sunlight bouncing into the water, I preferably enjoy a cloudy rainy day when swimming in the pool. Nothing better than seeing lightning and hurricanes passing by when swimming here. The walls are super bright, it has 3 pools. 1 to do laps, 1 to relax, stand to do cardio in for the elderly and another for children to play in with fun buckets to splash the screaming kids in as the parents sit bored on their phones on the bleachers. π
After a few laps in, protect and calm yourself in the relaxation of the coed sauna for those 16 and up. Very spacious that fits many people inside. Please cover yourself up for the respect of others. π
Overall, plenty of parking and quiet in the middle of Eldridge just off of US 61. Worth the drive from any direction of the QCA. βοΈ

Not biased at all just because I'm a NSHS graduate of 90, but I really appreciate the personable and professional staff, and extra kudos to the swimming / guard staff. Super attentive and willing to encourage young ones to do their best. Super fun splash pad open at 4, and safety flotation devices readily available ! Thank you for your services !

Far too cramped to enjoy a walk or workout. High school kids dominate equipment. But the school got its pool and that was their main goal. Find a bigger Y to enjoy as this one is a miss for adults.

To many younger people working there with no supervision. Congregating around the front desk saying not so nice things about the members/people swimming. Out right making fun of people they don't know. As a paying customer, I was insulated. For what it cost to be a member, plus the price of classes, I shouldn't have to listen to employees insulting people they don't know. It was a lot like high school bullying. The swimming instructors, however, were awesome!

Just walk and occasionally swim. Definitely recommend getting your workout in before 3 or after 6. A LOT of kids flood the place after school so not much available

I was approached by the aquatic director who was very rude, lied to, told I had to obtain certification for something that doesn't even exist. When we pushed the subject, he doubled down on his lies. I am autistic and this was one of the worst experiences in a public place I've ever had. Just because someone is different doesn't give you the right to stop them from being themselves in your swimming pools.

Visited for the first time today and was extremely impressed with the pool. The pool has a splash area, pool with a basketball hoop, lap pools, diving boards, and a hot tub. The nicest Y I have ever been to. Staff was also extremely friendly and lifeguards were excellent at watching children and keeping swimmers safe.

Kind of a NS teenage hangout spot, not a fan of kids 'hanging' out in the locker rooms on their phones. I will give it another chance before I move on.

The Eldrige YMCA is nothing more than the cheapest babysitter and daycare. and that's what you can expect if you go work out there you're working out in A-day care full of inconsiderate little kids that don't do anything other than take pictures and hog the equipment. they just sit there laughing and playing and giggling the whole time as you walk around patiently trying to find some way to sneak in, reminding yourself that you're charged $60 a month for this. The director has no care at all that they drive off middle aged people. the only people that they cater to are those that need babysat and extreme older citizens that are there during the daytime there is no room for the working person. If you try and voice your frustration the only thing they recommend is that you either come in at 4:30 in the morning or potentially just find a different YMCA to go work out at it's not convenient for them to host you at their ymca. The only thing they want is eldridge families to dump money into it to be able to watch their kids. everything is molded around that and you are nothing but in the way and charged and outrageous fee, I do not recommend it until they change their ways. It's so frustrating they won't say, do, or act at all about the kids. So I would only recommend the YMCA if you need a very cheap babysitter because for under $30 a month you can have infinite time for your children to be watched by somebody else.

Disappointed in the size. Only 1 open gym and very small workout area. Only 4 elipticals, 10 treadmills and 2 stair steppers. The coed sauna was a let down. The pool area for kids is already broke and needed drained after a month of opening. I was told by Bettendorf staff they would have an egym which is becoming very popular and crowded.

A place for the younger kids to hang out. I was disappointed that they didnβt have spin bikes and the exercise bikes they did have there are only 2. I was super excited for this place to be completed as it is super close for me. I will continue to work out elsewhere where they have more choices in equipment. They should have built an Aldi here instead. :)

I really like the building layout. The track is something is something I use everytime I am there. There is also plenty of free weights and weight machines as well. Add the basketball court and the two pools and hot tub makes this a very nice place to work out.

The lifting area is to small! There is not enough machines nor is there a variety of machines. I feel that if you are going to build a new ymca you should have done it right and made it big enough from the start. The lifting equipment you have is nice because itβs new and thatβs why i gave it a 2 instead of a 1 start!
