This is home and they are family my absolute favorite has to be Taylor and when i was gone for 8 weeks for hip surgery the first day back they all were so excited to see me again they gave me hugs. that kind of love is needed everywhere for everyone and thats exactly what you get here. So blessed to have such an amazing environment to workout in everyone of them is so helpful and kind and knowledgeable. We love talking about all kinds of health stuff when I come in. Since my job is a truck driver, I've been to more than 50 locations of Planet fitnes. This one is in the top 5. It's very clean, quiet, showers are big with 2 nozzles and there is a parking big enough to fit trucks.

I really miss the old building, but still having PF in Council Bluffs is better than not. Some of the newer machines feel worse than the old ones (e.g. Calve Press), and I feel like some machines are just missing entirely. Considering the price, building size, equipment, and amenities, it's probably the best gym in Council Bluffs, despite the fact they don't have barbells, or the fact they pretend to be "judgement free", all the while judging you for what you wear or doing very human things, like drinking too much water or grunting with heavy loads. The gym is always clean, and I almost never see the machines I use "out of service". The gym however is very crowded in the evenings, so you'll sometimes be unable to use a machine during your visit, but that's not really something that can be fixed without a bigger building and more equipment. I would love to see planet fitness expand in Council Bluffs some day, with twice as many machines. It's frustrating that they only carry a qty of 1 for specific machines, such as Preacher Curl or Triceps Extension.

I come to this Planet Fitness almost every day, and I have to say it’s one of the best gyms I’ve been to. The place is always clean, the equipment is in great shape, and the atmosphere is super welcoming—exactly what you want in a gym.

But I really have to shout out Hannah, who works here. She’s absolutely amazing! She’s always friendly, professional, and goes out of her way to make members feel comfortable. Whether it’s answering a quick question, helping someone with the machines, or just greeting people with a smile, she makes a big difference in the vibe here.Also note the guy staff is very respectful of the ladies as well!!

Honestly, staff like Hannah are what keep me coming back day after day. You can tell she really cares about the members and enjoys what she does. Huge thank you to her and the whole team for making this Planet Fitness such a positive spot to work out!

I’m a truck driver and parking is the first concern, this location does have no parking signs but staff said it’s not an issue unless it’s for an extended period and I want hassled. Cold water fountain, hot spacious shower, clean and up to par equipment. All was good and thanks a lot for that

Well first and foremost Great Friendly, Knowledgeable & informative staff. All of my vampire friends tan here. We love the amenities provided (plus 1's , personal training, dietician and healthy food services, even mental health cause nothing makes me crazier than that stubborn last 5 pounds before those summer jeans. no judgement though. Thats the 1 and only rule. just real people trying to gain a little chisel and some melanin. Of course you can't beat the price. If you don't mind a little work.- Out , you go and head on over to PF. Planet Fitness in Council Bluffs is fantastic! With my 9:30 to 5 schedule, I really appreciate being able to get in a workout early in the morning. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and welcoming—they go above and beyond to keep the facility clean and inviting. They’re constantly dusting, vacuuming, wiping down machines, and maintaining the locker rooms.

There’s a great variety of machines/weights and plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes, so I never have to wait. You really can’t beat the price for the value you get. I’m grateful to be a member here!

Huge gym. Great lighting. Open spaces and lots of cardio machines as well. Nice set up across the whole place. Only complaint is that they don’t run ac. It was boiling today and people were wiping their sweat with a paper towel.

It’s like your average PF but x3 size wise, very spread out which is nice to not feel too clustered. I’ve never been when here and had it be super busy. Clean facilities, nice changing rooms, overall great spot.

The manager, or a nice female worker here helped me out one day as well. I’m diabetic and commonly rely on the tootsie rolls upfront which they didn’t have, but she shared some of her work treat she brought for her staff and further checked on me. But then after visiting another time I was told they’re out of tootsie rolls so I guess I’m not sure the truth. If they don’t order them or what. Just different.

Still, it’s nice to know caring people are still out there. Plus the people who visit here have always been friendly

So far we have really enjoyed our experience at Planet Fitness in Council Bluffs. The equipment is top notch and there's a variety of workout equipment for anyone, and at any level, at any age. I see folks working out there from there late teens to mid eighty's. I like the slogan "No Judgement Zone" as it seems very fitting for this facility. The only negative I've experienced is some of the young staff act like they don't enjoy their job there and it reflects on their attitude and interaction with the members that interact with them. I've felt like saying to a few of them that if they dislike their job that much to find something that is more suited and exciting for them. I recommend Planet Fitness as it's a great place to get a workout and it's always kept very clean!

Tell me why on a Thursday , today they just close about 730 . 80+ people inside. Mind you I was tanning for 12 minutes. The bed shuts off at 6 minutes I get dressed come out and the whole gym is completely empty!! I am an otr truck driver... Loading 3 miles away this evening... Called the store this morning to ask about parking.. They directed me to Menards who I guess owns the parking lot.mm so I did and was given permission as long as I didn't Stay overnight... Told them I would only be there a couple hours... But once I walked into the gym the manager named maybe autumn or Ashley or something with an a told me that she was to call for the truck to be towed away... Called Menards right in front of her... And reassured her that they said it was OK.... Once again told she was going to call Menards to report... She says she is calling main office of Menards in Wisconsin, that the general manger of this store can't make that call.. So no workout because I was scared of getting towed... Sure hope that mangers day gets alot better

I canceled my membership 4 months ago and they randomly charged me almost 300 dollars in The last week and said that “ The planet fitness employees didn’t cancel it properly” So they charged me instead. Calling it “built up fees” Word of advise go spend your hard earned money somewhere else because even after admitting to their mistake, they still said they are not able to “guarantee” a full refund.
