Visiting Davenport tonight, wife and I decided to check out this location for the first time and very disappointed. Front desk person seemed bothered we came up to scan our code and check in. Later noticed several people walking in without checking in since the clerk was either not paying attention and greeting them or was just not there at all. On top of that, they couldn’t charge my card on file for the water as well. Bathrooms were beyond disgusting with no working toilets or sinks. Equipment was so outdated. Went to use the recumbent bikes and NONE were even plugged in to use. Went to the treadmills and they wouldn’t even connect to our Apple Watches. I’ll stick to my hometown one from now on.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM!!! I went to this gym from January to March, then when I went into cancel my membership in early April the workers didn't know how to cancel and it wouldn't let me on the app... Okay, no help there. I came back a few days later and one of the kids told me I was good and that it was cancelled... It was not. I continued being charged for months attempting to cancel. When I tried putting a stop payment on it they sent the collection agency after me(I finally got someone who told me it has to be cancelled on the website, not on the app or inside(Though I was already told it was cancelled) This is a blatant scam to screw people over. Please go anywhere else

Great place to work out. I’m glad I tried planet fitness out. The facility is pretty big with everything you need to complete good work outs. The massage chairs and hydro beds are nice before leaving. Always clean and stocked with supplies. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I rejoined yesterday and am glad I did. The only concern I have is Julius told me the vibration plate in the red light therapy had been fixed and was working again after being down for a long time. I went to use it today during my visit, and it wasn’t working. The guy and girl who were at the front desk both had no clue why I was told it was working again and neither knew much about it in general. When will it be fixed??

They are supposed to open at 7:00 am on Sundays. On Sunday June 22nd the doors were still locked at 7:20 am. There was over a dozen people waiting outside and in cars.. Customers started leaving.... Poor management!!!!

Eastern European Caitlyn Clark is very polite and professional. Quick to respond when I needed someone to open the drinks fridge for a Gatorade. Malaysian Wednesday Addams was always cleaning equipment and kept the place looking spotless. Couldn’t ask for better staff at the gym.

I hate to even make a review that’s less than great, But lately I’ve been going into town and I like to utilize the standup booth and they have had half of the bulbs out now for quite a while and it’s less than convenient when you want to run in and get a quick tan and you can’t because they can’t seem to get the bulbs replaced. It’s really unfortunate because it’s always been such a great experience there but lately it’s as if no one really cares

I’ve been a member of planet fitness for years now and I also take advantage of the tanning but lately it’s gone downhill. Many of the beds are out bulbs, especially the standup and it doesn’t seem like anytime soon they will be replaced. Also, the vibration plate is out in the infrared booth. I pay for the upgraded membership to utilize these things and with over half of the bulbs out it’s hard to do that and when asked when they will be replaced, it’s a different answer all of the time. If you’re going to advertise an offer a service you should make sure that it’s up and running at full capacity at all times. Without any resolution in sight I will be canceling my membership and going elsewhere to tan, which is unfortunate.

I was watching a live on social media of a guy who loves this gym and was talking highly of this gym. About 48 minutes ago I just heard the staff cuss him out after coming into the locker room screaming at him to put his shoes on faster. I’ve never heard someone get treated so poorly while being so kind. Absolutely disgusting, awful way to treat people. He was out of the gym 3 minutes after closing. They should all be fired.

The staff, Jax, went above and beyond my expectations. And my expectations are high!
First, I’m relocating from another city, Chicago. I lost my access pass, they still use them in Chicago, and I couldn’t get in to work out. Initially, my account couldn’t be found. Went there a few times. Last 2 or 3 times Machines were not the cleanest. Had to clean before using them. Could have been somebody not cleaning them after using them... all sweaty and wet on seats and handles. 8am and there is hair everywhere in the women's locker room including all the showers. There were razers, bra pads, soap.... are you serious right now. It IS 8 AM in THE MORNING. this should've already been cleaned before they opened. Then you can't even find an employee anywhere to make the complaint and ask them to clean. Very unprofessional

I think its an average Planet Fitness. They meet Franchise standards. But what I like is the guy at the counter with the braids and big smile. He was friendly, concerned, and encouraging. One of the nicest PF I’ve been to. We travel the country and have seen a ton of them. This is clean, everything in working order and spacious showers with a spot for your bottles and room to dress. You’d be surprised how much that matters. Staff were friendly and helpful.
