About the Club

Shakti Yoga is a neighborhood studio offering high quality, alignment based hatha yoga.

Here you will find a collective of skilled, caring teachers and students of all levels. Each class is designed to explore and refine your practice.

We work smart, offer plenty of challenge and insight, and we do not move fast. We appreciate that yoga is about relationship and that asana is a practice to cultivate body, breath and awareness, and if you move too fast you miss the good stuff.

Yoga opens us to explore more. Yoga allows us to lean into our fears more. Yoga lets us love life more.

We hope you join us to see what that more might be for you.

Wonderful studio with dedicated instructors. Focus is on intentional movement, & internal as well as external alignment. Will basically stretch you from the inside out!

Love this studio and its wonderful teachers. Combines skillful instruction on form and alignment with reverence for the non-physical components of a solid yoga practice. Thankful to have Shakti in my life!

Wonderful yoga studio! Friendly people, yet also really serious about knowledgeable yoga, and careful about alignment and internal sensing. ALL their instructors are really good. I love both the 6:00 am class with Ben (so warm and friendly, and starts my day off perfectly), and also the more challenging 1.5 hour classes. Not just for young adults; lots of the students and some instructors are also somewhat older. Walk ins are welcome, although many pay by the month. Great location, too!

I was in town and decided to visit Shakti for a Saturday morning class. The instructor Brette was wonderful and guided us through a good class with many of lunges and lots of stretches.
The location is in a popular area which unfortunately has a lot of noise. The room was lovely and open with enough space for everyone. The style was a bit slower than I am used to (Heated/Power/Fushion Yoga) but it was refreshing and was definitely a wonderful way to start my Saturday!
I will try to go again when I come back.
